  • Tuesdays goals:

    1. Water - No
    2. Shred + 30 mins Cardio Box- No
    3. Draw! - Yes!
    4. House work, lots and lots of house work.- Some

I spent the entire evening drawing and painting frantically trying to get everything finished before everyone arrives this weekend, only got one more picture to do before saturday. I've also realised that if I don't work out first thing when I get home after work its not going to happen. This weekend is going to be calorie heavy and while I know you can't save calories up I would feel more relaxed about the whole thing if I knew I'd done all I could through the week.

    Todays goals:
    1. Water! Set a reminder alarm to remind me to drink.
    2. Shred & 30 mins cardio
    3. Under on calories
    4. Tidy and clean the living room so the tree can go up.

Have a great day everyone see you later.

I need to add a few more non fitness related goals.
    1. clean the kitchen (it looks like a train wreck after making cookies last night)
    2. start laundry before it starts to overflow.
    3. go to toys r us to pick up the last things I need for Christmas for my daughter.
  • Yesterday was the same, no real motivation nor am I trying very hard. What is wrong with me? KICK IT IN GEAR SARA. So my goals today are;

    1) Drink at least 6 glasses of water
    2) MAKE TIME TO EXERCISE!!

I really need to do better at meals. Each meal is around 400-500 calories but I am so picky I'm still trying to work that out. (I do not eat vegetables, well most veggies)

Sorry to have been MIA this last week. But its just been one of those weeks. I haven't been too bad but I'm missing all of you on here and I'm losing some of my motivation to keep it up. Right now its more that I have been sick then getting over that found out I have an eye infection that isn't just simply pink eye which I would be over in a few days but something more that has me wearing my glasses which give me a headache. I can't stand to have the weight on my nose when I'm still all stuffy and draining from being sick. THen to top it all off I had a filling break on me yesterday so now I've got to figure out how I'm gonna get that fixed when we are BROKE. Just not my week this week.

I'm not posting any goals cause I don't think I could pull anything off right now. I've just been doing what I can when I can. Trying to stay positive and know that I can get thru this and will be better for it in the end.

Sorry to vent like that but I think I needed to get that off my chest. Hope you all have a great day!

Ravyn sorry to hear you are having a tough time at the moment. Everyone has times when motivation is lacking but STICK WITH THIS you can do it and we're all here for you. Keep logging and when you're better you can get back to exercise.

Everyone else is doing so well with setting goals and doinbg their best.

I was out last night for a work christmas party. There seem to be so many this year that I have to be sensible. Have been suffering all day with a terrible headache (from too much booze last night). Well actually I didn't drink that much but because I have barely been drinking these past few months so I think it had more of an effect that before!! Anyway enough rambling and on to setting some goals...

    Friday:
    1. Lots of water.
    2. Stick to my calories.
    3. Try and go for a walk at lunchtime (Kim you've inspired me)!!
    4. No drinking after work - stick to slimline tonic only.
    5. Leave the drinks thing at a decent time as I have training early on Saturday morning.

Hope you're all having a great day!

It is a new day and here are my goals for today (Dec. 7):

    1) Drink 10 cups (100 ounces) of water! (Maybe an actual amount to strive for will help!) DONE!
    2) Stay within my calories. Yes
    3) Do a 5 mile walk--inside or out or a combo. Did 6 miles inside.
    4) Work on my Christmas gifts! Got some done.

I seem to get sidetracked a lot lately. I need to learn to "stay on task!"

(I DID get the house decorated, though!)

I didn't get on here yesterday (the 8th) but I had a good day. Drank lots of water and took the grandson for a walk to do some shopping (2 mile round-trip) Did really well with my food, too!

Today my goals are to drink my water (have about half of it down already!) and stay within my calorie goal. I also want to get at least a 3 mile walk in but I'll have to see.
I did get the carpet vacuumed and spot-cleaned--THAT took a lot of time!--and a nice stew started in the crock-pot for supper.
I still need to get some baking done and work on a few Christmas gifts--and the cards! Need to finish those, too!

Have a good day, everyone and I hope all of you are doing well.

    4. Frame pictures for the weekend.- Done!
    5. Start getting house ready for weekends visitors – Done!

    Happy Friday everyone!

Yesterday was brilliant, I got way more done then I expected things I have been putting off for months. The best part of it all though is that this morning I am wearing a pair of jeans that I ordered off the internet and arrived a size too small over a year ago. I decided to keep them in that “Of course I’m going to lose the weight – Ooh pizza!” way I had. Now they fit. :glasses:

    Friday’s goals:

    1. Water
    2. Shred
    3. Under calorie goal
    4. Supermarket
    5. Housework

Hope you’re all having a great day.

    1. Chalean Extreme Burn Circuit 2 and 3 (yikes) TOTAL FAIL
    2. Stationary bike for 10 miles FAIL
    3. Log all food YES
    4. At least 8 cups of water ALMOST

Having a hard time squeezing in workouts...must do better. Think I'm trying to do too much too fast so I am going to concentrate on the Couch to 5K program, logging food, drinking water. I was down another half pound this morning so at least the scale is still moving in the right direction.

Good luck with today's goals everyone!

I'm struggling on the food front today and have to grass myself up! Still felt a bit ropey this morning so I got a mcdonalds breakfast which is so not like me. It did make me feel better though but only in the short term! Had a low calorie lunch so only 305 left for the day. Going to try and do shred tonight or some form of exercise to try and undo the damage from breakfast!

Kim well done with the jeans! Bet you feel great and should be proud of yourself.

Meanness great job on your loss today!

Hope you're all having a great day! It's Friday!!!!

    Weekend recap:

    For today....
1 Drink 8 cups or more of water

    2 WAtP 1 mile

    3 Eat veggies at lunch

I know I say the samething everyday, but trying to make it a habit. They say it takes 21 days to establish a habit and I'm trying to do three. Hence the same goals. But I will post them everyday to get it in my thick head that this is what I have to do.

WTG Meanness on losing 2 lbs!

    12.13.10 Goals:
    1) WATER (I have amazingly been doing pretty well at this, b/c my throat has been dry and sore)
    2) Get wrapping paper and scotch tape to wrap gifts

    Goals for the weekend:
    1. EXERCISE! (Been slacking a bit) 45 mins each day--want to get it back to 60.
    2. Drink 100 ounces of water. No
    3. log my foods and stay in my calorie goal. Started off good but then...nope.
    4. Work on Christmas projects. Finished my youngest DD's and now just have to mail the box. Worked on th other ones.

I am going to finish the cards and my youngest daughter's gifts. Those have to get in the mail this week! Then I will finish the projects for the people here at home. Now, to stick to my plan!

Food wasn't the best this weekend and it doesn't help that I don't always have internet access! (That will change in early January--we are getting a data plan and my son is purchasing a hot-spot. Comcast's signal has been iffy, at best, and we have no other optionswhere we live!) I do realize that this is an excuse--I need to just not put it into my mouth!

    Goals for 12/13/2010:

    1. WATER!!!
    2. Watch how much I eat (the choices aren't bad, the amount is!)
    3. Exercise for 60 minutes.
    4. Work on gifts.

Yay to all of us for continuing to work at it and not give up!

I'M BACK!!!! Had a few weeks there that just couldn't get out of the slump. Then today while out clearing the snow off of the driveway and the sidewalk it hit me. Don't really know what it was but I've suddenly got the motivation back again. Maybe it was thinking about what my friend said this weekend. She told me that even though I've gotten bigger that I'm still beautiful. It was good to hear that from someone that I know is just honest. She's always been a very straight forward type of person. It wasn't my husband who tells me that all the time but I really just don't hear it the way I should. It wasn't my parents who've been telling me that forever so it doesn't mean as much as it probably should. It was another woman who I think is absolutely gorgeous and I know she was telling the truth not just saying it to make me feel better. I guess that's the important part there.

Now for goals as I get back into the swing of things again

    1. Log everything!!
    2. Clean House(don't know what but every room needs work right now)
    3. Laundry (though I have to be careful cause for some reason its been backing up when I run it more than once a day gotta find out what's going on there)

I'm glad to be back. Just gotta get completely back on the wagon. But i know I can it!!! :)

Ravyn welcome back! You can do this! Compliments are always nice and sometimes just what you need to get back into the swing of things!

    Meanness congrats on the loss!

Kim thanks for wishes re my mum. She is definitely on the mend.

Viggie I'm the same. I basically set the same goals most days and probably will continue to until it becomes a habit.

Leela how are you enjoying zumba on the wii? Is it as fun as class? My gym is definitely starting classes from Jan so that should be fun and hopefully I'll be able to keep up!

Pmjsmom it must be tough without internet. I don't know how I would cope! I find I look things up before I eat them to check the calorie count. Don't worry about your food this weekend. Concentrate on looking forward!

Happiness hope you're feeling better and had fun wrapping presents!

Had the day off today to take my mum to the hospital. They have told her to start getting some movement in her elbow which whilst it's painful it will help in the long term. So relieved for her that she doesn't need surgery.

Managed to get some crimbo shopping done today but have slacked on the water front. This week is going to be manic. Work is going to be craaaazzzzyyyyy and xmas parties as well this week. The plan is to get my training in early before work so that it's done and out of the way...or at least that's the plan!

    Tuesday's goals:
    1. Training before work.
    2. Stick to calories.
    3. Water.
    4. Get as much dictation as possible before I have to leave for a meeting at 12.30 then come back to the office after and stay until the dictation is all done.
    5. On call tomorrow but must get someone to cover the first 3 hours because of my afternoon meeting.
    6. Meet buddies for a birthday drink but NO BOOZE and drink water only.
    7. Get home before 10pm as early start again on Weds.

Lots of goals but much like at the weekend if I write them down I'm more likely to stick to them!

Hope you all had a great start to the week!
  • Monday’s goals:

    1. Water- Only 8 cups
    2. Walk, shred and 30mins of something else. – Walk then nothing
    3. Stay under calories – Let’s just say there were brownies.
    4. Laundry - No

Yesterday was not a good. I was so tired after the weekend that I ate pretty much whatever I came across (the house is full of cakes, biscuits and tasty left over’s at the moment, it was like high calorie pinball, not pretty.) and ended up going to bed at 7. Still today is a new day so onwards and upwards (downwards please scales).

Great to have you back Rav

    Well done Meanness!

    1. Water, 10 cups.
    2. Exercise: Shred, Walk, Body Combat.
    3. 3 portions of fruit & 3 portions of veg
    4. Laundry or I’ll have to go to work in my dressing gown soon.
    5. Christmas cards

Hope you're all having a great day! See you later
