Just wanted to pop in to say hi! Hope that all of your ladies are doing well and I am sprinkling baby dust on you! I have been trying to keep up with you all!
No news here. First dr. apt. next Monday. I almost have myself convinced I am making this up.... I have had cramps (no blood) and a couple other symptoms but no morning sickness yet.
Thanks for coming back and spreading baby dust. It is nice not to be forgotten. I have also heard that cramping is normal in the beginning of pregnancy. Let us know how your doctor appt goes!0 -
Hello All,
I'm not doing so great with my December exercising goal. My cold came back with a vengence for the past 2 days and am finally starting to be able to breathe normally again. Hope I feel well enough to exercise soon. On a posative note, I lost 2 pounds my first week on MFP! That's a victory in my book!
My cycles have been all thrown off since stopping BC in August. I usually guage when I am due by my friend who is still taking BC because we are on the same calendar. According to her, we're due next week. However, I'm not having any PMS issues like I normally do. But since stopping BC, everything has been a little off, so I'm trying to not think about it too much. Have a good day everyone!0 -
Ron~ Ugh, not a good idea! I did the ONCE and learned my lesson too. I took it before jumping in the car to go to work and I ended up having to run back in the house... I'm happy that AF stayed away for week 2 for you. Is there anyway you could send her this way...LOL
AnneElise~ Thanks for the baby dust.
SkinnyOat~ Way to go on the 2lb Loss! That's a great start! I could count on one hand how many times I have lost anything around 1 full pound let alone 2! Great job.:flowerforyou:
Well I failed!!!! Didn't make it to 2 Zumbas and we went out for dinner last night. And it was totally my fault. DH said it was totally up to me to go out to dinner or not and I mad eto decision to go..I shouldn't have, but the waffle fries were SO good. Oh well...
Our tenant has not transferred the utilities over to her name (going past 2 weeks now) and her rent was due on the 1st and nothing yet. So I tried to call her yesterday and her phone says "At the request of the contract holder, this phone no longer takes incoming calls..Error # ...." Great! So I typed up a letter quoting the contract and such and had to hand-deliver it to her last night and she was at work, so I had to give it to her daughter. I really hope she gets it.
Anyway, that took me away from my Zumba that I had every intention of going to! I was pretty bummed! I'm going to try to get over there tonight, but I have to teach dance too tonight and I'm not sure if I can make it all the way across town in time...
I would really like to see AF before Friday, but I have had no signs of her visit yet. I really hate not knowing what is going to happen. I have been temping for almost a month now and there was no sign of Oing either...I'm on CD31. Should I test anyway? Gosh, I really wished I had stopped the depo sooner... :ohwell:0 -
kcurtis, if your temps haven't shifted, you're likely having another annovulatory cycle. It sounds like your body is still out of whack. Have you looked into any herbal supplements? I know you don't want to take hormones or anything, but there are some things that can help regulate cycles such as FertiliTea or Vitex. I would check out http://www.amandabears.com/heartsherbals-and-their-properties-new.html. I hope, at the very least, that you get to enjoy your vacation without AF showing!!0

CD34 and a negative home pregnancy test this morning. Technically I wouldn't test positive until Thursday because if I AM pregnant (which means the stars would have had to align perfectly and some serious miracles would have had to happen) then I'm only 13 days past conception. On the other hand, if I'm not my body definitely is on a strike against me and really hates me right now. Usually when I travel I start early not late. I've also not got any defining symptoms of either PMS or pregnancy. I'm just really tired, slightly *****y, slightly sore breasts when I lay on my stomach, and very very hungry. Which basically is a list of ambiguous signs and symptoms... I keep telling my friends how I know I'm not because my symptoms aren't like anything they were when I was pregnant the one time before and they all say that my symptoms then were probably so strong because of the Clomid and that what I'm describing now are normal symptoms for a normal pregnant woman.
This could seriously drive a sane woman crazy!
I took it easy yesterday because technically the second I find out I'm pregnant I'm supposed to call the Doc and they will put me on suppository Progesterone and I'm supposed to basically sit on the couch for several weeks. So now I'm stuck with the "what if's" and it is taking a toll on me with every single choice I make. I had planned a pretty great workout yesterday that I just got paranoid to do. Today's workout isn't as intense so I'm going to go ahead and do it.
Hope everyone makes healthy choices today!0 -
Heather, how long is your usual LP? 14 is average. I have a 13-14 day lp, though I've gone as long as 16 before.0
-
Erica, I have no idea. I've got PCOS so temping doesn't work for me. My usual cycle lasts 28 to 30 days. On Clomid I used the OPK and ovulated on day 16. I thought there was no way possible for me to get pregnant this month because I didn't see my husband until CD22 AND I didn't take Clomid this month. I know anything is possible but not very probable. It is frustrating though because I've not been this late in years. Since starting Metformin and losing weight my cycles have been consistently 28 days (give or take a day). I did travel and am out of my routine, but this usually leads to me starting early. I will test again on Friday if I've not started.0
-
It's possible that you didn't ovulate without the clomid or you Od much later than CD 16. Maybe in time to see your husband?0

Oh lets hope you ovulated later and it all lined up!!!!0 -
Hey ladies! Soon enough I will be joining you all!
I had a discussion with my husband about perhaps just trying ealier than later. We had planned to wait until the Fall but... I want to start in the Summer, or Spring. Finally I got upset with him and blew up, "Why are you so adamant about waiting so long? Don't you want more kids? I thought you wanted even more than I do." This was said after about 20-30 minutes of me ranting/freaking out over moving in a year, jobs, deployments, money, cars, and vacations just to name a few. His reply: "Do you really want that added stress right now? I don't want you to put even more pressure on yourself than you already do." Stupid jerk (*in loving tone*), why does he always have to be right and caring? I love him so much. Ah well, looks like it'll be another 10 months or so before we actually start "trying".
Just thought I would share:) Good luck to all of you!0 -

Maybe my cycle and your cycle got together and tried to figure out how to drive us mad!!! I've been in that position before.....it's probably just hormones not doing what they are supposed to.....if you have PCOS, it's probably anovulatory cycle.....if it goes beyond day 35, you should probably check in with your doctor, get the blood test and if it's negative start the provera. If it's positive than BONUS! LOL0 -
Heather - fingers crossed!

So...I bought 3 Rite-Aid brand pregnancy tests. I took one yesterday and nothing. I took another this morning and negative. I went to Walmart and had to buy some yogurt and thought that I mine as well buy the Equate brand (which was the only brand that worked for me last time. it picked up the hormones before all the other ones and had the most faintest line but it was a line). So I've drank TONS of water per my usual routine and have peed at least 20 times by the time I got home and decided to take one "just for funsies"....Well there was a very very faint line. As soon as I was done my husband walked in from his class and saw the look on my face. I showed him the test and he agreed that there was a very faint line. I've always been told "A line is a line!". If I did get pregnant it was definitely after/on November 25th. Just to be safe I called my doc office in MO and they called in the prescription for the suppository Progesterone. I am no supposed to use it and sit patiently on the couch (this is the girl that when she is bored works out for 4 hours just to have something to do....). If I am...what a miracle! I need lots of prayers ladies! Testing again tomorrow morning.0

I hope it's a for real BFP and a sticky bean!0

You have given me hope!!!!! Sit on that couch and take the progesterone!!!!! Sticky vibes!!! Completely excited!!!! YAY!!!0 -
Yea Heather!!!!!!!!!!!!  :bigsmile:0

Yay! Congrats! And yes, PLEASE, if your Dr. says take it easy, take it easy! My good friend who recently had a 8wk mc said to me, "I always thought the hardest part would be getting pregnant... now I realize it's only half the battle. Next time I will be more respectful of my body in that first trimester and hope this doesn't happen again."
Sticky Vibes! xoxo0 -
Wow Heather I’m so exited for you, my fingers and toes are crossed for you!0
-
Okay Heather - I'm dying to know the latest. Did you test again this morning? How is hubby? How are you?!?!?!0
-
Congrats Heather! I am praying for you!0
-
Yay! My fingers and toes are crossed! Prayers your way for sure!0

Thank you ladies for all of your kind words and support!
So this morning was nuts. Literally. I didn't sleep well last night (can you blame me?). I woke up at 645am and grabbed a test. Of course then I managed to fumble around and drop it into the toilet....Didn't think it would work as well after that. So I tried to lay back down and my brain refused to stop. I then proceeded to get up, put on my coat (cause it is actually snowing in Southern Alabama today...go figure. guess I won't be using the shorts I packed!) and headed to walmart 20 mins away. I buy the last 2 Equate brand tests (cause believe me, they are the best!) and came back after drinking 32oz cause I was feeling a bit dehydrated. I tested and had another very very faint line. I went back to sleep and woke up at 9 and tested again. There was nothing on this test, but I know the water I guzzled definitely caught up with me and this would have been my 3rd urine of the day. I picked up the progesterone and have been couch bound since. I just wish I had a definite positive but then again if I am in fact pregnant then it would have happened on/after November 25th making me less than 2 weeks pregnant. So attachment could have JUST happened. I did feel some cramping last week and thought I was going to start. It is all so nuts and absolutely out of the norm. I'll keep you all updated. Until then...I'll be here in this hotel room holding down the couch!
Hope everyone has a great day and makes healthy choices!0 -
Oh and I forgot to tell you...my husband is excited and very nervous. He is nervous because he is afraid I will miscarry again he is also upset because over the next 9 months he will be gone for 6 of them. If I am then I'll be due around Aug 18th and his class won't be over until August 24th and it is a military class in Arizona so worst case scenario is that he hops on a plane for the birth and then has to leave immediately to go back to the class. Definitely not ideal but at this point I can't bring myself to think that far ahead.0

Okay - so I just got back from Zumba after going for the first time in a long time.... 744 calories according to my HRM!!! Holy cow! My heart rate was between 150 - 195 the whole hour, and as long as I could catch my breath I felt pretty good. We had a good time anyway I don't really like my HR going that high, but not much I could do about it.
Still... 744 calories! Yowsers!
Off for some chocolate milk and an apple. And then a really warm shower.
Happy Hump Day Everyone!0 -

Wow! Great burn! I didn't meet my Zumba goal this week. I wanted to go both Sunday and Monday but didn't make it to either. Now I feel like a blob of goo.0
