6 in total most were from when I was around 18 - roses in barbed wire on my right chest wall, my name above my left breast (why ???), sun and moon mid back, roses on left outer calf, butterfly on upper left calf

I have four, the first was a butterfly on my hip, 2nd was a large Hebrew writing saying "Family" vertically written down the left side of my back, #3 was a gorgeous Dove with "Peace" written below at the nape of my neck , and my absolute favorite on my upper back is 1 Corinthians 13:13

There are these three things that will Endure -- Faith, Hope, and Love -- and the Greatest of these is Love.

Then "GOD" and the names of my four children and two Grandchildren written below. Will add to it with each one to come

Piercings: ears (double), nose and getting a Monroe next week :happy:

Interesting....not judging....just asking. How do you interpret Leviticus 19:28? "Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the Lord."

The word tattoo is newly added. It was do not place any marks on your body, tattoo is the modern day wording of that scripture and it's very well left up to perception of what that scripture means. I'm also sure that the Bible talks about asking for forgiveness. Also keep in mind, not everyone believes as you do, it also says not to judge as I am sure you're no angel and need forgiveness just like the rest of the world. You know, since we are all born into sin, however, knowing the history of the Egyptians, Moses who was a prophet likely had tattoos and piercings himself as he was raised an Egyptian.

From what I can tell, he didn't say he believed a certain way. He noticed that the OP quoted scripture and asked about another verse in the Bible and how the OP, who obviously is religious and values the scripture, about her interpretation of a verse that seemingly goes against the act.

It seemed like a good question to me.

Celtic cross trinity on my hip. 1. Got this one back when I was 18 and religious 2. Tribal butterfly on my back 3. Roses on my foot.
Roses are my fave because I can see them all the time, other 2 are way too hidden.
Have been wanting to get a half sleeve for a long time. Thinking its time to start socking away some money to get it started. Reward myself for losing this weight? I think so!!! :happy: :happy: :happy: :happy:

Haven't gotten any yet, but I'm thinking about getting one on my honeymoon next May of a birdcage with the door open, and a bird taking flight from that, with the phrase "To have faith is to have wings" underneath it - placed on my foot.

I love that the wings come down on your arm. I haven't seen that with angel wings. I've seen it with bat wings, though, and equally as cool.

I'm on my phone so I'll have post pics later. I have 23, most are pretty small but I have 4 big ones.

I currently have 6 piercings but I used to have about 12 including 5/8" gauges. They have since closed almost completely though.

I have 3 tattoos I had done when I was a teenager, and hated by my early 20's. one has been removed, and I'm working on removing another one now. Very expensive! Luckily I don't dwell on it too much, but it's definitely one of my biggest regrets. I still love them on other people (the tree to remember a friend who passed on this thread is very sweet and beautiful), but they don't represent "me" anymore.
