I haven't updated in a while, but I went through my exercise log and I've done a total of 1,002 minutes of exercise since January 1, which is about 16.7 hours, which puts me a little ahead since it's the 15th!0

I am soooooo far behind...To date I have managed to get in 8.75 hours of exercise. Good news, my endurance is coming back, and I have been close to an hour a day of activity this week. Bad news, I am still nursing the pulled chest/abdominal muscles from the lung I kept trying to expel over New Years. All it takes is one wrong twist, turn, movement, and the pain starts all over again. Heat, biofreeze, aleve and bedtime flexeril, I thought it would be getting better by now!! My workouts have been limited to lower body and the right arm (thank goodness I am right handed ) Ok I am done whining. I am grateful I have 2 legs to be able to exercise, and the persistance to make this challenge much more intense. 16 days for 16.25 hours of exercise... I can and I will complete this goal! Thank you all for your tolerance to my venting. Keep up the good work everyone. I am amazed at the progress made so far.0

Today was my last long run --- and I survived it!
My exercise totals are a bit screwy this month... afraid of doing much before the race because I dont want to get injured.
After todays run, I am in full tapering mode, so I CANT run much ....
but here is my update...
January 3: Fast walked the hills of Pittsburgh since I was there school for 75 minutes
January 9: Run 6 mile trail run in the snow for 105 minutes
January 10: 30 minutes Biggest Loser game on Wii
January 11: 3 mile run about 35 minutes
January 13: 5 mile run in the snow and ice for 75 minutes
January 16: 14.5 mile run around the track for 3 hours and 50 minutes
