Although what I said is true, the way I said it may be coming from the steroids that I have to take. Hey, gets the anger out ! I would never get mad at you..never, never !:drinker:

    Hello ladies,
    Wow lots of giggles tonight!
PHOEBE, just for an update, I have five cats and a dog; so as a group I will refer to them as my "kids". I really did feel for you though, sometimes my eldest sister gets carried away with her bunch of dogs and I wonder some times who is eating what, or doing what?

LYNN, always feared something nasty about those artie chokes, now I know!:noway:

BARB, I agree on the viagra thing.

JUDY, I wondered how many times I could spread out the alpha bets from the cereal, they make good signs too.

    MARIE, :heart: :heart: <<<<<HUGS>>>>>:heart::heart:

Exercises did not go so well today, buttock sqeezes okay, but my pelvic muscles gave out a few times in the middle of the reps, throwing my hips to one side and raising my back. Don't know why, but I will keep trying. Walked to the dentist and back today, I have a 1,893.00 mouth now, and a case of rinse, tooth paste solutions to work on for three months. Citrus fruits and vegetables will have to be put on hold until my siliva settles down. :ohwell: I guess it will be for the better, or else my teeth will eventually be eaten by the acids in my mouth.

Take care everyone, I will post again tomorrow..

It comes with a very comfortable chest strap and a transmitter. It stores up to 10 "training" files. It can be programmed for your height, weight and age. It calculates your training zone based on what you want to do - cardio or fat burn."

    I'll check this out thanks.

    Serves 4

    •1 pound fresh asparagus
•1 4-ounce can of mandarin oranges, drained
    •1 tablespoon olive oil

:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: I used to eat Fiber One cereal because of the great fiber and no sugar.......then I found out that it is sweetened with aspartame so I stopped eating it because aspartame is the worst of the artificial sweeteners.......now I eat oatmeal made from rolled oats with homemade applesauce made with no added sugar.

    Another senior moment

A travel agent looked up from his desk to see an old lady and an old gentleman peering in the shop window at the posters showing the glamorous Destinations around the world.

The agent had had a good week and the dejected couple looking in the window gave him a rare feeling of generosity. He called them into his shop: 'I know that on your pension you could never hope to have a holiday, so I am sending you off to a fabulous resort at my expense, and I won't take no for an answer.'

He took them inside and asked his secretary to write two flight tickets and book a room in a five star hotel. They, as can be expected, gladly accepted, and were off!

About a month later the little old lady came in to his shop. 'And how did you like your holiday?' he asked eagerly.

'The flight was exciting and the room was lovely,' she said. 'I've come to thank you but, one thing puzzled me. Who was that old bugger I had to share the room with?'

ACTUALLY, SOME OF US ASK THE SAME QUESTION EVERY MORNING!

Well, my hubby left early this morning on his boys trip....Jake is going to make a bread and butter pudding for dinner tonight....yummmmm - it'll be the healthy version with low fat milk, butter, etc so shouldn't be high on calories...the trouble is, Jake needs the opposite to me..he's a 16 year old with hollow legs and needs more fat in his diet...maybe I should give him my share??????

Thanks for asking, Marie. I'm new to MFP and am counting on the accountability of being her to keep my weight off. I have my weight loss story on my profile, so I won't tell it here. I was trying to get a feel for how much you gals share because I don't want to bore everyone. However, I have enjoyed reading you all's posts very much. Yes, I have pets, kids and grandkids. The pets are two cats, Mac and Bandit. Bandit is the one on the quilt, and Mac is pictured on my profile. The quilt is an 1880s Bethlehem Star. I collect and study antique quilts.

Welcome Laura, you'll feel comfy here fast. These ladies are fun and inspirational. Marie, surgery?

this was my big exercise day......I've gotten into the routine of getting on the exercise bike in the morning (I can drink my breakfast shake while riding) and riding for 30 minutes.....this morning I watched Dr. Oz talk about the HCG diet.......then my Wednesday intermediate line dance class for two hours.......then the exercise bike at lunch time......finally after three weeks, the weather was good enough for my friend to come over from Seattle to walk with me (she said it rained the whole way over until about 20 miles before our walking place where it was sunny......after I got home from our hour and 40 minute walk, I had a snack and took the dogs to the dog park where they played and I walked for 45 minutes.....I'll get on the exercise bike again before bedtime.

Lost my weight on WW in 2003, gained a bunch back and then lost it again. Almost at my goal of 75 pounds gone and am very relieved to have found MFP to help me maintain. What I really love is seeing the nutritional values because with my gastroparesis I can't eat a lot of the normal things like raw veggies and anything with high fiber etc. My main goals are to eat healthfully and rebuild my stamina after several years of illness. I have a lot of work to do in both areas.

    Hi,

Welcome Laura. I am 54 and they let me in here.

Marie-I hope Alice does well. I didn't know Buzz is older than you.

Grandee - Do you still do the WW diet now?

Maddie--It's the steroids, girl. You can let it out here. No harm, no foul. Take deep breaths, don't read healines, watch chick flicks, and breathe.

Judy- I liked your joke...it made me laugh.

Judi- will be looking for you.

Xyla-hope you are okay ...just busy..:flowerforyou:

    JeaniePQ--jump back in any time.:flowerforyou:

Fancy Lady--welcome back in...hope you enjoy your grandkids this weekend...did I remember right?

If you read my home page, then you know that I juice veggies and granny smith apples. I plan to do a juice fast next week. I am committing myself on here so that I will do it. Two years ago, I did a month long one. I will be happy to get through a week, now. I am trying to "shake my system" up some. I am not gaining...it's like a few ounces up and then back to my weight, a pound up and then back to my weight. Some of you may remember but it's okay if you don't because there are a lot of stories on here. I have thyroid, adrenaline problems and the other glands don't work like they should. There are many other things..but I try not to dwell on them and talk about them too much. I am not discouraged. I do have to work on myself not to be. So, thus the humor and the songs. I am blessed with family and friends. I have it good. When you feel discouraged, all you have to do is look around there are always others who have a worse situation than you do. I appreciate all the fun we have on here. It's a fun place to visit.

    Good night all!

Quick visit! Barbie you make me feel tired! I found this webpage for midges http://www.treesforlife.org.uk/tfl.midge.html. It cannot convey the misery of being covered in the bites!
    Hi Laura! Join in!
I lost half a pound this week, but my inch loss makes up for it. I'm trying to do the 30 Day Shred every other day, but my back is tweaking today, it always does after I've had my eyes tested. It's the putting your chin on the rest for the puffa test and slouching. And then the couldn't fit my prescription into the frames I liked! Typical! They can put a man on the moon,,,,,,,,,,,,. Has anyone here had laser surgery on their eyes? I'd love to get rid of my glasses! Sorry rant over!
My Kathy Smith dvd has just arrived. I don't know her but the reviews on Amazon were good.
I'm going to check the tide times, and if the tide is in will go down into Bridlington and have a "blow" along the prom.( It's very widy today and it'll blow the cobwebs away as we say. I hope it doesn't mean something rude over there !) If we do I'll try and get some good pictures. It's only 7 miles away and we don't go enough.
Speak to you all later, take care Judi.
