This would make an awesome reality show.
"I'm sorry. You did not meet your exercise quota. The zombies will eat your brain now."0 -
This is great! My husband has a book called the Zombie Survival Guide. He's REALLY into horror stuff...we have any and all movies that involve Dead, Living Dead, etc. He does makeup on halloween and has done a great job making people look either like zombies or like they were eaten by zombies. I would post the pictures but I can't figure out how...:-(
I think I could take on the stupid slow zombies. Forget about the ones that run. Game over, I'm searching for braaaainnnnsss!0 -
Best... Thread... Ever!
Remember that when the zombies first attack you just have to run faster than your slower friends. It's when they get converted and you have no more slower friends that you are screwed
I'm all about moving back out to the country so that I could grow crops and could get fresh meat ( I am a country boy!). Next on the list, build a replica of ark II (http://thereifixedit.failblog.org/2010/07/01/white-trash-repairs-historical-thursday-ark-ii-facility/).0 -
Shh...i'll be right back, have to grab my Zombie gun, I think they are downstairs...0

If you are already ready for a zombie attack, please share with us how you have managed to get so much in shape!
P90X helped jump start my readiness for a zombie attack.0 -
So has anyone else started looking around and thinking about who would accidentally "trip" when you are running from the zombies?
p.s. I am all about the bicycle, I could ride forever without failure, as long as something didn't get in front of me.0 -
What a fantastic motivation! I love it!0

Dude I flat out KNOW who I'd trip if I had to start running from zombies!!
I'm ordering this today:

i can't wait till i get to a shooting range! i haven't been to one before. really wanna go to one soon. the chick who doesn't know how to use a gun always dies. early too.0 -
Fortunately for me, my husband is in the military and has worked in the armory for most of his time. When he goes to shore duty in 6 months, he'll be a small arms instructor. He has taken me shooting so I'm good there. Also, we're signed up to take archery lessons soon. And as I'm typing this, my teenager is sitting next to me reading the Zombie Combat Manual. Just gotta get the cardio up and we're set. lol0

I'm pretty sure I'm the one most of my family and friends would trip. lol0 -
I don't know if anybody ever played Plants vs. Zombies, but as much as I'd like to believe it, sitting on my butt and beating the game probably won't help me last very long when said attack occurs. Perhaps eating more plants in between bouts of running?
Also, just in case there are still any naysayers, Zombie Apocalypse is definitely happening. How do I know? There's a Facebook Event for it. Can't argue with THAT.

We already RSVPd. We're so there.0

Haha I played Plants vs Zombies... I really dont think that would help in offline attack!0

The 1 mile in 15 minutes (4 mi/hr walk) I've done for the last couple days' lunch break leaves me slightly winded with calves & shins aching. And without this thread, I never would have thought to even test it. Added 15 min. to my evening step workout. There was one girl there who was really really slim, but she managed to lift so much that I think she would be my hero during a zombie attack!
Id probably try to hide behind her... maybe hand her a towel if she sweats...
jtuner77... :noway: I need to be faster...
hroush... Great planning! My family is trying to get a farm. We might not be able to run it so well to start, though...So has anyone else started looking around and thinking about who would accidentally "trip" when you are running from the zombies?p.s. Laceylala... I LOVE that shirt!!
dian1227's out ALREADY?!?!0 -
I haven't played plants vs zombies but I do play zombie hero.....just in case ninjas take over the world and the zombies are needed to smash them. Gotta be prepared for every situation lol.0
-
Its true, dian didnt come back yet... lets hope she survives!
Thank you for the support! Today is a horrible day since Im working at home, but Ill try to do at least sit ups, lame modified push ups and do some walking in the evening! Every little counts...0 -
I love the idea of this group especially as zombie movies are my favourites! I went for a jog on my usual this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks and was shocked at the amount of times I had to stop for breath and a rest! I'm aiming to get back to running for the full half hour without stopping once and when I'm used to that again, start increasing the distance again.0

You need tiger blood and Adonis DNA!!

I LOVE this! Next time I see a cupcake calling my name, I'm going to look it right in its frosted little eye and let it know that, while it may be quite tasty, its not worth having my brain eaten.0
-
After the baby has her breakfast we are going to take one or more of the dogs and go for a walk. Really - we are just going to scout the area for potential Zombie Safe Houses!0

Plus some weight training of course!0 -
I LOVE Resident Evil. I hope one day I can star in Resident Evil 12 and be the next Milla Jovovich. I have my post-apocalyptic leather jacket ready, all I need is the body!
When I went to the Lee Strasburg acting school.. I took a stunt class which was pretty awesome. I even bought a book called, 'The stuntwoman's workout'...
She's so badass.0 -

I think this is a cute thread! My dh is into zombies! He has blu-rays, statues and movie posters. We watched Zombie Cheerleaders a definite B movie that my dh got directly from the maker and The Walking Dead series this weekend. Some I like, but there is lots I hate!0
