I'm behind - dealing with a sick child - just saw the challenges - I was 1 cup short yesterday, will be 2 cups off tonight... I will make up for it the rest of the week - Plan to do the majority of walking this weekend - the weights might be an issue as I don't have any, but I will figure something out, or stop and get some, but that will be Saturday before I have time. I work 2 jobs back to back tomorrow...0

Good morning!! I killed the water challenge...but honestly I get at least 10 glasses by 9am everyday.
I am at 203.7 for the week...down just 1.1 lbs.
I'm trying to be happy that it is a loss.
On the bright side...that puts me at 50% to goal!
I think I'm going to work on bumping up my calories a little bit. this will be the biggest challenge of all because even though I know it works this is a HUGE barrier for me. I'm just not ready to give up on the expectation of losing 2 lbs a week. Please share your experiences with me on this...maybe it will get through my thick skull.

Morning all! I weighed in at 264 this morning. I actually weighed myself 5 times to make sure the scale wasn't playing with me. The weird thing is that I weighed myself again like 30 min later and it was 1lb heavier. Grant it I already have had 2 glasses of water and I was eyeballing the breakfast.
For the water challenge this week---I nailed that. I have at least 12glasses by noon or else I'm running for the bathroom all day long. As far as the weights-I only got to the gym once this week but I did a ton of stuff around the house and garden that made my arms hurt. I'm shooting for 3 days next week at the gym. I'm also going to be super strict with my calories this week.0 -
Awesome job, Countryrose!!!!!!!! That's fantastic! I've done the re-weigh several times before too. :laugh:
I had no problem meeting the water challenge this week, but didn't do any of the weights. Took this week as a rest week since I got sick and needed to recover because I'm photographing my very first wedding tomorrow! Eek! So excited to see a loss! Once I get through tomorrow I'll work out my game plan for next week. Hoping to see 274 or even 273 on the scale next week (may be just wishful thinking, or renewed motivation from the recent loss...who knows). :happy:

Congrats on being half way to your goal woot woot!!! I must admit I can't get it through my thick skull either and be consistent with my cal intake has been a major issue for me, but I can honestly say when I ate more while working out my weight loss was greater crazy I know but it's true!!! Some people that have reached goal also told me one of the things they did was keeping the body guessing everyday cal intake was different Mon, Wed., Fri, 1200 Tues and Thurs 1500 Sat ate whatever and Sun 1000 cals ate mainly fruit and veggies drank plenty of water seem like not a issue for you anyway I haven't quite wrapped my head around this concept but hey they made it to goal and I haven't so it must be worth a shot just wanted to share!!!0 -
Water has been great everyday did the arm workouts twice my arms are on fire it's crazy I have been doing insanity and its major pushup in there daily and it felt like I was lifting bricks doing the weights you have to stay consistent with weight lifting if you don't use it you lose it quickly wow!!!
I have to do the walking haven't been for a while but it is too beautiful out today to not get it in I will be back with my results shortly thought I was yesterday spent the whole day doing my yard so today I will definitely walk!!0 -
Awesome job to everyone who have already reported their weigh ins and those who have lost and mainted way to go let's keep pushing it through can't wait to see everyone progress come July the 4th!!!0

I must admit this month will be a yr of logging onto MFP and I can't wait to post my before and after pic I can see change even though my weight hasn't reflected my progress LOL I guess toning and losing inches are my victories I will be celebrating!!0
