For the life of me, no one has free kittens. We did find a grey 6 month old boy at a nearby shelter. We filled out the 5 pages of paperwork and will wait to hear if we are approved to adopt him. If all goes well, we hope to pick him up tonight. I actually had to get references. Adopting from a shelter can be a pain!!! My cleaning lady said if she was to reincarnated, she wants to come back as one of my kitties - I thought that was sweet. I'll keep everyone posted.

Check-in for Tues 2230 burned and 1977 consumed. No formal exercise. I'm still recovering from the 1/2.

21 weeks until my next half. I'm dreaming (having nightmares) of the hills. I can't wait to start training. Have a great hump day and enjoy the snow!! Oh wait - the rest of the world probably has sun and warm temps. I've gotta drag my winter coat back out.

Sometimes errands get in the way of working out. Like on Monday I got home from work around 5:30, had a snack (aka "mini meal") and let Lexi out of her crate for a little bit and was out the door by 6 to run errands. I didn't get back till after 8pm but Lexi smelled so bad, I had to give her a bath. Then I needed time to unwind and sit for a minute and the next thing I knew, it was bedtime.

Last night was the same, except I forced myself to work out. It was cardio night. I started the workout and then stopped it to try to find something new on nexflix. There is some dance video that I started, but they were all skinny b!tches and it didn't feel like a hard workout after about 5 minutes, so I switched back to p90x. I'm glad I did. I worked up a sweat. As I was doing my yoga poses though, I realized I had lexi hair ALLLLLLL OOOOOOOVVVVVEEEERRRR my black pants. So I paused the video and vacuumed the living room. I also paused it later to get laundry out of the dryer so I could wash/dry the man's dress shirt I bought for Saturday. Anyone else do stuff like this? I swear I think I'm becoming more and more A.D.D. every day.

Yesterday my manager was sitting with me reviewing some Standard Operating Procedures and after I while, I zoned out. And then I was like "oh yeah! did you see this training course that was assigned to us?" and she laughed and said something about switching subjects and then said it was ok, her son was a.d.d. so she's used to it. (she's a fantastic boss and was totally kidding about it, but still). I was also highly distracted by the men washing the windows outside. They hang from the roof and use big suction cups to steady themselves. .....I wonder if I've been A.D.D. my whole life and my mom just thought I was really crazy hyper? People didn't immediately take their kids to the doctors back in the 80s for that stuff like they do today. Is a bad memory a part of ADD cause I swear I forget a LOT of stuff, especially from my childhood. I also forget movies all the time but I tell my friends its fine with me cause I can watch the same movie a couple times and each time is like the first lol. I get to experience a lot more "firsts" because I forget about stuff so much hahaha.

    /random tangent.....lol my bad

Yay Hailie! Aren't those little posts awesome?! Keeps me motivated when I see them!

Lacey-I've got to get me one of those, but I'm thinking it's going to be next tax season before I have the extra money, esp with making an offer on our first house today! YAY! No more rent! *FINGERS CROSSED*

Kendal-I don't know if it's ADD that I have, or the ability to notice 5 things at once. My mom is the same way. We can have a conversation, notice something, comment on it, then go right back to our conversation, but if we get interrupted mid-thought...it's gone! And memory? Forget it! (no pun intended) I forget my lists & reminder notes! I like to think that my brain is just too busy to slow down & take in what it's supposed to! :-) And unfortunately for me, the more kids you have, the worse it gets....and I have 3!

SO TIRED today! Big storm system came through last night, so I stayed up watching news til 1130, then boys got into bed with us around 12, then we kicked them out around 1, then HUGE boom of thunder woke us all up around 2....blah! And it's a food day at work, so there's food everywhere....yeah, my day is shot! I am SO walking at lunch! Thank goodness for treadmills & fitness rooms, b/c it's supposed to rain some more!

And I live near a creek, which is full, which means if the rain doesn't let up...flooded in, or the kids & I all squish into my mom's 1 bedroom apt in town...her couch isn't comfy!

OK, wish me luch staying awake today! And I think it's a good day to go over on calories! LOL!

Hi everyone! I've had a good day. Instead of walking the dog this morning, The Kid suggested we run the loop "to make it go faster". Running cut 10 minutes off our loop time (which makes The Kid happy cuz he doesn't really like doing the dog-walk thing every morning) AND it snuck extra "real" cardio into my day (which makes me happy cuz I haven't really been running very much lately) AND it was totally The Kid's idea (which means there was no whining involved). I also did my Insanity recovery workout and we went to the local pool for about an hour an a half to swim. We haven't been swimming since last year so it was the first time I put my swim suit on in quite some time. Gabe commented that I look much better in my swimsuit. To quote the 7 year old: "Your legs aren't all wavy and lumpy like they were last year." :noway: Nice. Oh, and the scale might actually be moving in the right direction.

    Check in for Tuesday: 2707 calories burned/ 1769 calories eaten/ 938 deficit

Karen: I hope your creek doesn't flood!

Kendal: I think it's funny you stopped working out to vacuum. I don't think it's funny cuz you're all ADD, I think it's funny because I do EXACTLY the same thing!!

Victoria: Adopting from a shelter feels like adopting an actual human child. I've adopted both cats and dogs from shelters and they are the only places that make you get references. It's really weird. Good luck!

Lacey: I'm sorry you are all TOM. I'm all PMS-y so I kinda feel your pain. 2 weeks prior to my TOM my boobs hurt like hell and I am a raging biznatch. This is followed up by the joy of actually bleeding. Being a girl is so fun!! :indifferent:

Hailie: Enjoy the personal training! I'm pretty sure you won't die. I think they are trained to bring you to the point where you think you're gonna die but not actually kill you. (It kind of interrupts their income flow if the clients stop paying due to being dead)

    Andrea: Hi there!!

The electricity went out at 7 am. It's really getting cold in the house. Sighs. 2 morning clients cancelled since the roads aren't plowed. We've now gotten a good 8" and its still coming down. Sighs again. I can't fax the info to the shelter. Or my work stuff. sighs and shivers. To top it off I just ate 1/2 of frozen pizza my mom sent over. Face palm. And yeah TOM arrived today - 2 days early. No water, no heat, no phone, no fax - this sucks. I'm down to 62% power on the iPhone. I may go sit in my car to charge the phone, get warm and waste my $3.99 a gallon gas. Can you tell I'm throwing a pity party here... Sighs again!!!

Lacey, I feel ya on the worrying about things that haven't even happened yet. I think its in my genes... my Dad worries about everything, and I have a tendency to do it too. I do my best to just stay busy enough and focused on what's going on now so that I literally don't have time to worry and am so tired when I go to be that it can't keep me up. It seems to work ok. I'm happy to hear your BMF has evened out a bit, I know its been a bit of an ordeal getting it set up. I also just started TOM, which I'm actually happy about, because it means the PMS part is over. Plus, it means I'm not making a baby, which every month is a little victory for me.

Mary, welcome! Happy to have you!

Karen, I have NO idea how you get by on 1 car. There's just me and my husband and I still can't imagine figuring out logistics to get us both where we need to be every day. I'm impressed. We also got a huge storm last night which kept me up... I think it was about 2 or so when I finally fell asleep and I was up before 6, so yeah... sleepy.

Amy, if you were swimming outside yesterday I'm getting on a plane, flying to Germany, and punching you in the gut. If you were swimming inside, I take that all back and just wanted to say nice calorie burn yesterday, you are a superstar. I also cannot believe that you have fibromyalgia and have dealt with all that crazy stuff. You are so active! I know I say it all the time, but you are seriously a huge inspiration.

Andrea, HI! Where have you been? Just because its cold and gross outside doesn't mean you can't get some workouts in!

Hailie, this is me giving you a virtual hug..... HUG.... yay for your deficit and yay for a personal trainer! You will learn so much from them and Amy is right, they won't kill you. They'll just get you as close as possible.

Victoria, I am excited for you kitten adoption. You sound like an amazing pet mom and that kitty will be lucky to have you! I am SO SORRY you have snow. That seriously sucks. And no power. I hope its back on soon so you can get everything back in order.

Kendall, your last post cracked me up! I think everyone in the world is a little ADD. Focusing is just so hard. I'm the worst about it when I'm cleaning... I end up with little piles and projects all over the house that I have to tend to... I pretty much just run around frantically for a couple hours and then its done. This is only compounded when Chris is home, because he always comes up with some totally random thing that he wants to tackle, which only adds to the chaos. Its fun.

Does anyone else watch Glee or Raising Hope? (sidenote, ever since DVR I have become way more of a tv junkie than ever before. I can't believe how many stupid shows I watch now). I only ask because lately I'm really over Glee having other people on the show singing all the time. I like the show for the kid at McKinley, and I want to hear them sing! And I think Raising Hope is HILARIOUS. I also think the baby on it is the cutest kid ever.

Last night was Yoga X and I am thisclose to being able to do half moon and twisting half moon without falling over. Its gonna happen. Its gonna be good. This morning I did Core Synergistics for the first time and love love loved it!

Chris is making stir fry for dinner which I'm pumped about but it will kill my sodium. Its like his favorite thing to make and he LOVES soy sauce, so its kinda hard to control him. As soon as we run out of the gargantuan sized thing of soy sauce we bought at Sam's in, oh, December, I'm buying the low sodium version.

And that, ladies, is the end of my daily rant.

I watch Glee and Raising Hope. I liked GP's song last night, but didn't like the young girls song..and yeah..I'm over other people on the show too. I also don't like it when their chior teacher sings. And I also am getting to the point that I think the show is turning from super clever and funny to the typical Fox network dirty sex jokes to make their shows work. I am all about promoting birth control, gay rights, pumping the dorks up in school (I was a dork), etc..but I am disappointed that they are using some of the jokes they are using these days on Glee. Its like the writers can't think of anything clever anymore without using the "sex sells" stuff. It is disappointing. I like The Warblers though, that Darren Chris guy has an a-mazing voice!
Raising Hope is awesome! Cloris Leachman cracks me up. The whole premise of the show is great! I also really like Cougartown and was glad that there was a new episode Monday and one tonight.

Check in for yesterday: 2999burn/2181ate/818deficit. And I'm up two lbs this morning, but I might have had a mini-affair with some peanut m&m's last night and tom and high sodium and I'm sore from my weight training yesterday so its cool. Won't step on the scale again until Friday.

Amy-oh, my creek has flooded, it always does, it's just a matter of will it actually get over the road or not! :-) And wow on the exercise! I'm jealous! I wish I had time! I realized the walking I hoped to do on lunch...duh going to realtor to sign paperwork, won't have time!

Kerry-let me tell ya, I don't know how we do it, we had 2 cars in Dec. They BOTH died, within 2 weeks of each other! We borrowed a neighbors car & my mom helped out til she bought a new car & gave us her old one. We're looking for another one, b/c, in all honesty, even though her car holds us all, 3 kids in that back seat are kinda squished some days, and it does have over 200K miles on it, so I feel it's just a matter of time before it goes too.

Victoria-pity away! I think you're allowed a day here & there! I'll pray things get better for ya!

Lacey: I like Glee and I agree with your assessment of the show. It's getting dumbed down and sexed up. I haven't seen Raising Hope but I'll have to look for it. My current TV obsessions include: American Idol (don't judge me, please), Glee, 30 Rock, The Office, Cougar Town. I think that's it but as I mostly have to watch TV on the Internet as the Armed Forces Network is lame and German TV is in...well, German; I pretty much don't find out about good new TV. I'm always open to new shows.

Kerry: Please don't punch me. I WAS in a pool, outside, for part of the day. It was sunny and 75 degrees here in Germany today. I was also in an indoor pool, in a wave pool (like the beach without the sea-life) and on a couple of waterslides. The Germans do their public pool thing VERY majorly. And it's pretty cheap too. Only Euro 8.50 for me and Gabe for a couple of hours of watery fun. Again, please don't hit me. You're welcome to come visit me and enjoy the German weather (and pools) any time u like. I do believe that a transatlantic ticket these days is somewhere around a billion dollars. Oh, and your air traffic controllers might be asleep while u are up there- which is always disconcerting.

Victoria: Your day is really going pretty crappy. I'm so sorry you are freezing and have no power and your phone's dying and you can't fax things. Maybe u should get in your car and go somewhere that has heat an electricity?? Maybe you should get back in bed and start over when the power comes back on and everything beeps of flashes to let you know the power's back on. ((((Hugs))))

DH is cracking me up. He keeps commenting on how much money we're saving on electricity, heat, etc. At least my belly is full and I'm alive!!! The cats we have are being spoiled with extra love. I've bundled up in a sweater and enjoying time with DH. I'm down to seeing only 2 clients today and don't have to leave for another 1/2 hour. At least they will have heat!!! The house is clean as far as windex and pledge can go. I cancelled the cleaning lady today - what could she do??? I'll be bringing takeout home for dinner. The house sure is quiet with no TV...

Amy - swimming really??? I second the gut punch but I'm sure once I got to sunny Germany I be so floored by seeing sun that I'd be frozen in place. Glad you had fun. I love that Gabe wanted to run.

Karen - 1 car is amazing. I couldn't do it. DH works 55 miles away and I drive around all day for work. Good luck getting the house.

Kerry - I hear you on more crude being recorded since getting the DVR... I only watch a few show - Celeb Apprentice and BL are my 2 for this month. I just don't have time for any more.

I guess I should really scoot out the door. I did manage a trip to moms earlier for a shower... I love that she lives close and has electricity today!!! I'll catch up with everyone else later.
Lacey - hopefully it's water weight. Now peanut M&M s are sounding pretty good. Were they worth it?

Lacey - hopefully it's water weight. Now peanut M&M s are sounding pretty good. Were they worth it?

M&Ms, like beer, are ALWAYS worth it. :drinker:

Glee has gotten much less clever. I long for the days of season one when I was laughing and crying and rooting like crazy for those kids. But I do love the Warblers too, Lacey. They are a-mazing. I also really love Parks and Rec... we watched a little of season one and then stopped because it wasn't that good, then restarted on season 2 and it just keeps getting better. If any of you have FX and are up for some mildly crude yet hilarious cartoon humor, watch Archer. Its a riot.

I have NO desire to work today. You guys are a welcome distraction to customer's with broken appliances and leaking plumbing and all other manner of issues that arise from getting a kitchen remodeled.

Amy, my response for your is threefold: 1. You are funny. So that kind of negates all my animosity towards you. 2. I'm sure if I did risk bankruptcy and my life to come see you, I'd just want to give you a hug. 3. I think waterslides are the most fun ever.

Waterslides+beer+peanut M&Ms COMBINED are the best thing ever! Dude. I dream of the day!

    LMAO!

Yeah, the m&m's were totally worth it.

My mouth is like the sahara desert right now. Each year I get dry mouth and bad breath and its from allergies...well I had NO clue you could buy something to help with it until I saw some commercial for something that starts with a P I think in a store that wets your mouth. So I am hitting Target up today for some and hopefully it will help. (don't you like that I can only remember the chicks odd face from the commercial and the fact that the product starts with a P? Which it probably doesn't...imagine me asking the Rx people at Target for this stuff in an hour...)

Let's see... I watch The Killing on A&E, I never ever get hooked on cop shows but I caught the two hour pilot and I'm sold. It has the red headed chick that got killed because her braid got stuck in the door of the truck and she hit a tree and it snapped her neck on Big Love as the main character cop). Glee, Survivor, BL sometimes, Greys, the doctors in the jungle one on Wednesdays, the other doctor show after Greys on Thursday. God my memory is blowing right now. Thats because I'm looking at the red flashing light on my phone telling me I have a vm at work..HEY maybe I have ADD too! I also watch My LIfe as Liz on mtv, Teen Moms, Jerseylicious, Ruby and some others.

I also caughter a NatGeo show last night about Kangaroos. Did you know that female kangaroos have three vaginas?? Two for inseminating and one for birthing. Curazay!!! I saw that on the show and was hooked and stayed up till 11 to watch the rest of it. Dern diagrams of genitalia!

Lacey: I would probably have stayed up to watch the kangaroo vajayjay thing too. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't know what to do with 3 of those things. It just seems...excessive. I would like to see the Target clerk's face when you ask for something that wets your mouth and you think starts with a P.

Kerry: You are most awesomely awesome and I would happily give you a hug after you risked life and limb to come and see me. I agree that water slides and beer are pretty cool. Being Germany, water slides AND beer do go hand-in-hand (as does beer and pretty much ANYTHING else you can do in Germany). I'm pretty sure peanut M&M's were not available though...so that makes it slightly less than the best thing ever.

Victoria: Being a dog person at heart (sorry, I just am), I have felt absolutely NO shame in using my cat as a spare heater. He's warm and fuzzy and vibrates!! He also smells much better than the dog and he's allowed in my bed whereas Sofie gets to sleep on her own bed on the floor (which she does not like). I think cats make great heaters. It probably because the ONLY thing they do is lie in the sun and absorb heat.

    Kendal: Yay! We're funny!!

All of you are making me glad that I don't have DVR, or even cable/dish/satellite! I have Netflix, & my 2yr old rules the TV most of the time! If anybody wants to know anything about Dora or Diego, I got ya covered! :-) If she's not watching it, the boys are, and we move up (sort of) to Disney channel shows...still kills my brain cells! I get to read a lot to tune it out! Good thing it's one of my favorite things to do!

Mmmm, chocolate. Now I want some M-n-M's. I'll just have a cookie. :-) I made them from a recipe I found last night for Maple & brown sugar oatmeal raisin...then added mini-chocolate chips to them. 85 cal each! I can handle that! Esp since today is shot, well, if I have the energy after church to exercise, maybe I won't totally kill it! :-)

If it wasn't for weird storms & stuff here, it'd be as warm for us as it is for Amy. Germany & KY are pretty comparable in terrain & weather, most of the time (thus Ft Knox & Ft Campbell being where they are). But it's wet & rainy, and I live in a river valley anyway, so I'm just SOL!

Hopefully will know something from bank that owns the house within a week, and then I can get excited about looking at flooring & paint! Maybe planning a late summer garden! :0D I'll at least have a kitchen big enough to do my canning & making jelly now, instead of spreading out into the living room! Plus fresh stuff helps with the lower grocery bill, at least for a few months!

    OK, more "exciting" paperwork!

I am so dense sometimes. LOL. I need a tshirt that says BIG DUH on it.

Karen- our daughter rules the tv most of the time too. Toonies...on constantly. Sunday at 10am I finally told her, no more tv for the day. I need peace and quiet...which really amounts to her screaming and playing and yelling because she is off doing other LOUD things, but at least the background tv noise isn't included in all of it too lol.

Lacey, to be honest, I think my daughter rules the house most of the time! That's what I get for having the girl last! Plus she does the loud stuff with or without the TV, so I'm just kinda stuck with it! Is why enjoy summer, at least outside it's not a closed in sound! :o) And I don't think I would have thought of it that way either! I honestly didn't til Amy mentioned it! ROFL! Once upon a time, I would have, but I think my mind is now in "kidsafe" mode so often that I just don't go there very often! I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing?

Hello ladies! Remember me? I skimmed through the posts, but there's no way I'll be able to catch up with everyone! I did make notes of people's weights. I apologize for not posting the chart this week. By the point, I'll just point next week's one. Congrats on everyone who lost!

Dear lord, this thread moved fast over the past few days. I am alive and kicking. I've just had a rough several days and I wasn't on internet land in general. I've just been really sick, which has royally screwed me up in that 1)I don't care what I'm putting in my mouth 2)I'm not moving.

I'm fessing up the scale tomorrow, but it won't be great. I'm off my training runs, as I haven't run since last Thursday. I've been sick-- nasty cold, and I"m allergic to cold medication, so it makes for one miserable Kristina. Feeling a bit crappy still physically, and also pissed at myself for not being able to keep the eating/exercise going.

Tomorrow is a new day though and I'm back on the wagon, as my cold continues to improve. On the docket: a six mile run with my friend as long as the weather cooperates. It'll feel good to get moving again. I need it.

Work has been crazy busy. Lots of stuff going on, and I'm ready for a break! haha.

Also, big news on the family front. This does not come as a shock to me, as it was bound to happen, but my brother called tonight to tell me he bought an engagement ring to propose to his girlfriend. I'm so happy for him.. and his lady is great and I really like her. It of course comes with mixed emotions, as he's my baby brother... and he's getting hitched, while his big sis is single... perpetually. It just makes me think about where I am with my life, and I'm feeling a bit old maid-ish now, but I'm super happy for him.

AND... future wedding is another excuse to get my booty into gear, cause I want to be the fit sister in her wedding get-up!

ETA: victoria: hope the shelter goes well! I, of course am partial to shelters. That's where I got Emma!!

It's insane how much posting is going on in here! I did read everyone's posts and got a couple good chuckles, but I am in the same boat that I just can't keep up! I will try to do better, promise.

I'm having one of those days where I just want to eat everything in sight. I'm in a bad mood and not for any reason in particular. Sleep deprivation, drama with the ex, mental drama over a new guy I met (totally messed up... he left me but I feel like I'm cheating on him even looking at this new guy), the "sluggish" nature of my life since spraining my ankle (today was my first day at the gym since Friday and met with my personal trainer ). I haven't done any cardio in what feels like forever and I feel like just giving up. I know I can do this, even with the "pigging out" I did today I was (a whopping) 60 cals under, but still under so I suppose I'll take what I can get. I'll be doing my weigh in tomorrow. Wouldn't be surprised if I didn't meet my 3 lb loss goal but I guess we'll see. I'm content maintaining if need be for now.

Hailie - I just had my second personal training session and I promise, you won't die! It's actually not too bad and I know you can do it!

Kristina-glad you're feeling better! Sometimes you just have to wing it and keep going from where you left off as best you can! Good luck with the weather for running!

Crystal-I hope it all works itself out for you! Eventually, this too, shall pass. Perhaps it's in the slow lane while we want it gone, but it'll get there!

Well, I DID exercise! Didn't keep me under my goal for the day, which was 1800 cal. BUT, according to MFP, my BMR is 1803, so hopefully that extra 235 cal won't kill me for the week! I knew I was going over, I planned for it, and I enjoyed the break, but I feel I didn't do as badly as I could have. In the past, I would have had 3 plates compared to the 1 I had at work today, so I splurged without binging, so it's an improvement all the same!

Just doing a quick check-in. I'm thinking sodium was why I was feeling so bloated earlier this week. I drank 12 cups of water yesterday and my weight was waaaay down. Going for the same water goal today and tomorrow because dinner today was sodium-tastic and we're bringing in chinese food at work for lunch tomorrow.

I've pretty much decided tomorrow's going to be a wash, calorie-wise. I'll try to not over-indulge at lunch and I'll guesstimate calories but we're ordering in from this mom & pop place across the street from the lab so who knows what the actual calorie counts will be. I'll have to make sure I eat a decent breakfast and supper, and I'll probably do a more intense workout unless I'm feeling gross from the food.

Karen: Even though you didn't hit your goal of 1800, depending on your goals you may still have a decent deficit.

Crystal: Being okay with maintaining occasionally is a good mental place to be!

Kristina: No worries--everyone has weeks where they're super busy! Congrats on the future sister-in-law :). You'll totally rock it at the wedding, I'm sure!

Suzie: I feel the same way a lot of the time! I love your constant cheerleading, though :). Very motivating!

    Lacey: You can do it!

HEY we totally ran through a page and a half in like two hours this morning!! It was rad!

Suzie just because you can't keep up with the posts all the time doesn't mean you aren't doing a good job of consistently coming back! Thats the most important thing. We all have times were we post less and then post more. This is seriously one thing you shouldn't beat yourself up for.

Kristina I'm so sorry that you are sick girl! I hopes you are on the mends and that your scale treats you nicely in the morning! Congrats on your brothers engagement.

I'm super tired tonight. Dang female kangaroos and their triple vaginas. Should've just dvr'd that show. Another DUH.

Good morning ladies! (I do realize it's night still for most of you but it's morning here) Check in for Wednesday: 1860 calories eaten/ 3296 calories burned (I think this is an over-estimate as the BMF estimated my burn for swimming yesterday, so it isn't exact)/ 1436 deficit. Oh, and the scale has me back at 201.2 so maybe, if I cross my fingers, I'll actually get a loss this week.

Lacey: I miss my DVR so much! We've been here a year (this week!) and Gabe still occasionally mentions that he wishes he could pause the shows on TV.

Sarah: Sodium is a killer for me. I can be under my calories but if the sodium is too high, I just bloat up. Drinking lots and lots of water helps but it still takes me a day or 2 to get rid of the bloat. Life would be easier if there weren't so much sodium in things. I make most of my food from scratch but things like pasta sauce and cheese have tons of sodium!

Karen: I'm pretty sure that going over your calories for one day is not gonna mess up your week. Good job getting a workout in! Oh, and I have the mindset of a 13 year old boy. I think sex jokes and fart jokes are funny. I can't help it. It's who I am.

Crystal: I think that being 60 calories under your goal for the day can't possibly fit in the same sentence as "pigging out". You were under your cals, you did good! Maybe you can make better food choices tomorrow but don't beat yourself up today.

Kristina: I'm glad you're back! We missed you. I'm so sorry you've been sick. I'm even more sorry that you're allergic to cold medicine (is it ALL cold medicine or a particular ingredient?). That is super-sucky. Being sick automatically kicks into gear that part of my brain that needs to be taken care of so I go for comfort foods. I can't seem to get through to that part of my brain that carbs and sugar really won't help me feel better. As for your little bro's engagement...I can see how that would stir up emotions for you. The Hubbs is the baby of 4 kids and when he got married before his older sister, there was...pressure from some slightly retarded members of the family who have the unmitigated gall to ask when she was gonna get hitched. I adore Trav's older sister. She's funny, has a great job, has lots of friends, travels a lot and has no one to answer to but herself. There's nothing "wrong" with her. So I'm gonna go ahead and say there's nothing wrong with you either. Enjoy your single life, it's fun! I remember when I could do whatever I wanted whenever I wanted and it was great! And get back in gear so you can be the hottest chick in a bridesmaid dress!!

Suzie: Thanks for posting the spinach roll recipe, they look yum-o!

Victoria: I saw on FB that you didn't have power for 11 hours!! OMG, that's crazy! Did you visit the kitty??

I got my dog jog in for the morning and I think I'm gonna do YogaX instead of the Insanity recovery week workout (I just can't bring myself to do something for 3 days in a row, my head will explode). Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm only working a half day at work because my cousin's "celebration of life" service is this afternoon. Therefore, I need to get my butt in gear and get some things done. I normally wait till 1pm or later to really start kicking production's butt.

But I did work out last night....the push up dvd and ad ripper. In case you didn't see on one of my status updates (mfp or fb)....I did two clap push ups last night! I was on my knees but that was the first time I'd ever even tried it. Every other time I just give my tv this look of "you really think I can get my fat *kitten* to do that?? I don't think so..." Yay for trying!
