The answer she gives is right for the question asked HOWEVER you didn't tell her that MFP already sets you a deficit. I'm sure her answer would have been totally diferent then.

Ask again and this time give her the full story
The answer matches perfectly for already having a set deficit. When you DONT have a set deficit is when you don't eat back workout cals. You must have something backwards.

While it's hard for me to embrace eating more to lose weight, it's true that it works and I have felt so much better since trying to hit my calorie day every day.

I would like to know what the answer would be if you manually set your calorie count....I set mine at 3000 calories....so If I do two workouts that day where I burned approx 1200 calories...I am not going to eat back calories...I don't think this apply to everyone.

What does this 'Bump' mean that I am seeing so often???
Its a way to boost the thread...the more posts the more often the thread occurs in the forum on an internet site...check this out:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bump_(Internet)

I will say most people seem to use it incorrectly...they say things like BUMP for later reading...well they must have had their own ideas as to what bump means, because they are using it incorrectly!
