Sharon as to your question...yes, I think you should go for it! You're very passionate about health & fitness. It's obvious in how motivating you are on here. And in the fact that you keep educating yourself in regards to health and fitness. You have to love what you do. And you may have found you're calling.0 -
Good morning everyone! Turbo Fire day for me...Fire 45 today. Burned 446 calories as a result.
So I have a question for you all...very personal so don't feel compelled to respond if it makes you uncomfortable. Many of you know that I was recently laid off from my job and that I've been focused on building my coaching business to see if that's something I could actually make money doing full time. My family is encouraging me to create a website specifically for clients to pay me to coach them 1 on 1 through their health, fitness, and nutrition challenges. I am not a licensed therapist nor have I formally studied any of these subjects in school. My education comes from a) my own personal journey and the success I've had with my own results and b) research I've done and continue to do for my own knowledge.
So, my question for anyone that wants to help me out...do you think this is something I can and should pursue? Be honest please!

Sharon I think this is something that you would be very good at. You may want to however consider looking into some formal classes just to have certification on your side it may justify the charging element a little more. Most community colleges offer certification courses for a pretty decent price and health science courses. Just something to think about.0 -

Happy Thursday everyone. Insanity Max Recovery today burned 471 calories. I definitely didn't anticipate all the are work in month 2 but hey if it whips me into shape I'll do as many as I can until I can't pick myself up off the floor. I hope everyone is has a good day!!0

Today has been a rough morning between thunderstorms and tornado warnings, being late to work (because of 2 car accidents), and forgetting my lunch. Trying to turn my day around. I did do my Turbo Scuplt last night burning about 300 calories in 40 mins (my legs and arms were extremely sore which is always a good thing). I will be doing Ab jam and my 20 min workout tonight which will burn about 433 calories. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.0

Hi everyone, I thought I would change things up this week, I have been doing the 30day shred to see if I would see any other progress. I have to say, I seem to have a better burn on my thighs after one of her workouts as apposed to Chalean Extreme. not sure what I'm doing wrong with Chalean.
Seems the sickness is still sticking around the house, My daughter was home again today from school, picked her up yesterday early with a fever. now son is losing his voice and my nose is not feeling to great I am going to keep pushing through this and working out. I have to!!!

I think you should go for it!! You are definitely a motivator and an inspiration! Many times it's the life experiences that enable us to reach people in ways a textbook approach alone can't do. I can tell you do have quite a bit of knowledge concerning diet, fitness, and nutrition and with your experience you'll do great!!0 -

Happy Friday!! Did Turbo Fire Fire 60 this morning. HRM says I burned 561 calories. Hopefully, more cals burned later if i can get my C25K in.

It's Friday yay!! :bigsmile: and even though I stayed up last night to watch the first round of the NFL Draft and was so tempted to lay in bed and watch the wedding early this morning I instead pushed play and did Insanity Max Interval Circuit and burned 834 calories. My obliques are very sore at the moment, but my arms are getting use to the pushups even though they are shot at the end of every workout. This month is definitely no joke I am huffing and puffing by the time the 3rd round comes up and those full body drills kill me.

I did my Ab jam and 20 min workout last night burning about 433 calories. I am not sure what I have planned tonight. I am tired today since my son decided he wanted to get up at 6. I will force myself to atleast do my 20 min workout. I hope everyone has a great Friday, and I am so looking forward to the weekend.0

Hey all Insanity May Plyo today 774 calories burned and Month 2 week 1 is finished. I am so glad for rest day tomorrow although I may try to go for a run just to stretch my legs. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Ran 2.5 miles with one of my daughters this afternoon. First run since last weeks so it was a little rough but I made it!0 -
I'm still here and doing my thing. I'm just trying to get out of this funk I'm in! I've been working out and logging food, but that's about it. Today I didn't get in an official workout, because I had an all day conference to attend...but I did a lot of walking in between lectures, just not going to log it officially. This week is the official end of my 90 day P90X/Insanity hybrid journey. Will be taking pictures Tuesday AM.0

Hey everyone! Happy Monday! I did Turbo Fire-Fire 60 this morning! Burned 549 calories. This is my last week of the CLX workouts in the TF/CLX hybrid. It's all TF workouts again according to the schedule. Hopefully, I'll see more results w/that.

Hey everyone. I had a really busy weekend, so I wasn't able to check in like I normally do. I did well this weekend when they usually are my downfalls. I didn't "gain" anything this past weekend, and I actually lost 0.2 lbs. I was super excited to see that this morning. I have been slacking a little on my workouts the past 3 days. I didn't work out at all Friday because I was so exhausted from my son getting me up at 6. On Saturday, I walked for about 4 - 4.5 hours yard saling, but I only counted 3 hrs of it. On Sunday, I did my quick 20 min workout; I was being very lazy yesterday. Tonight I am planning on doing my ab jam and 20 min workout which will burn about 433 calories. I hope everyone has a great Monday!!!!0
