Starting Jillian Michaels 30DS Friday the 22nd! Who's in?

This friday April 22nd my husband, best friend and I are starting the Shred. Very excited and a little scared! Seems like everyone has great results so every 10 days I will be weighing in and measuring. Anyone who would like to join please feel free. Will post my starting weight and measurements this friday!!

    Its a work out DVD, 3 levels about 20 minutes a day for 30 days. Its intense. I did it once when it was OnDemand on tv and it was rough but has great results. So many people swear by it. I have only heard a couple people say they didnt get good results.

    Where do you get the DVDs? I may want to give that one a shot... I've only lost about 8lbs since JUNE.... so I have to do SOMETHING!? :blushing:

    im on day 5 of shred. i love to hate her. lol.. she kicks ur *kitten*. for sure. i do 25 min of yoga before i do shred and it helps a lot...

    I'm not doing the 30 day shred but I will be doing the biggest loser workout on the xbox kinect. Good luck!

    I ordered mine online from Walmart, but I have heard you can get it in store at Target. A lot of people on here have bought theres from AMazon.

    I'm in! I just bought my DVD from Target last night. However, since this upcoming weekend is Easter I might not start the shred until Monday April 25th. I will be traveling a lot and most likely eating a lot, so it will be a good way to kick my butt and get me back on track.

    Ive heard good things about Ripped in 30 as well.

    And anyone can join. The more people the better. Just more people to keep us all on track. Look forward to seeing everyones starting weights and measurments come friday!!

    I'd like to join too! I've heard alot of good things about 30DS so I'm going to stop at Target on my way home to pick it up. I have the Insanity workout at home but can't seem to stick to it! Maybe I'll have better luck with this one!

    Hmmm. I've had that video for a long time now. It's still unopened near my DVD player. Hahaha. Maybe if I join you guys, I can actually open the DVD and stick with it. =)

    I've been doing it for a little over a week and I haven't gotten through it a single time! It feels crazy to say that because it's supposedly a beginner video. I've heard so many people say that it's one of the easiest ones. Basic stuff right? Jumping jacks, push ups, crunches. Only twenty minutes. Seems simple! Jillian even says during the video that she has 400 pound people who make it through the video day after day. Embarrassing!

    I can run a 5K pretty easily, I swim over a mile a day, I do strength training three times a week, and so I thought it was going to be a piece of cake...but man! Somehow Jillian kicks my *kitten*! She is literally targeting every single area where I'm weak and making me push it! I always wind up getting dizzy and having to pause for a water break. Maybe this Friday I can get all the way through it and 'start' with all of you!

    Really ready for Friday to get here. Watching what I eat and riding my excercise bike just isnt enough. I know the nursing is part of my problem, but I'd feel much better knowing Jillian is kicking my butt daily as well. Thanks to everyone on here for all the support, I think it will benefit all of us. Eager to take my before and after pics and hopfully see some serious results every 10 days. Not sure if i want to take them in a sports bra or not. I should thats how id see the best progress, but really hateing my stomach after my second baby. And tips on pics??? Did you benefit from covering up in them or showing yourself all of it?

    Now, I just need to buy a new scale to replace my old one which all of the sudden told me I weight 30 lbs less that I usually do. :laugh:

    I just bought one of the weight watchers scales that also calculates body fat % and tracks your progress. It's awesome!

    Count me in :) I started this 2 days ago and am a bit sore. I can notice some improvements in my strength and endurance frm the first time I did it. Thanks for the open invitation. Having group support should help us push through it!
