I would like to point out of the highlights of Week #3's weigh-in :
    Things to watch...
    3) Will Healthymom be able to drop into the 240’s:love:

Will Healthymom be able to drop into the 230's, not the 240s, thank you very much. LOL! But yes, I AM determined to do it this week!! :drinker:

Healthymomma, you are correct...you need to bust thru the 240s into the 230's...you better be determined because you are a finalist in the other competition...you have come so far since the beginning of the first comp....you have lost nearly 18 pounds since the beginning of April...Rock on, sista:drinker:

Ms. Irishgal, you have been randomly selected to take the 0.5 lb hit this week  I know you will do well this week because you are a finalist against Healthymomma...there's a lot riding on your good behavior this week:wink: ...lastly, I just want to say that I hope you blast into the 60s and show the 70s who's boss:smokin: :smokin:

So, Fat fighters, you have to step up to the plate for your Irishgal as she will be at a disadvantage this week...You wouldn't want her to get eliiminated, would you?:noway:

    You started it

    No, I didn't :noway:

Yes you did, see 10:18 am post. After 6 months I just noticed the time zone difference. I knew Faith's posts were weird times but just noticed this board is not EST.

No more playing, I must do some work now. :frown:

Plus didn't my posts being metric give a hint

Fat fighters have nothing to worry about...I'm really going to kick some *ss this next week and I will not only stay in the comp but get out of the 170s if I can help it. So I appreciate the extra obstacle...I love challenges!

I am sorry if I am a little slow here. Please explain number 5. thanks!

After the competition is over next week and someone is eliminated, one person with the lowest % of weight lost from each team will be switching teams

Thanks Kim! I told you I was slow. I see the heat is on!.......:-)

As have I...day 5 of turbo fire tonight!!! I'm also eating pretty well - not even coming close to the 2500 sodium lately, which is a HUGE feat for me.

    Let's go Fat Fighters, Let's GO!! *clap*clap*

Haha - I probably would - it is a calorie burner for SURE!! I may have the wine, but plan to actually cook dinner tonight. Weekends are good to me usually - I guess you should be glad weigh in is Wednesday cause that gives me time to eat like crap before it.

Debbie, that is too cute! My husband is pretty supportive most of the time unless he is super hungry then he doesn't want to think healthy.

Shammrock, I love the wed. weigh-in's too! I try to be good on the weekends but thats usually when I get super lushy and mess it all up:wink:

Hmmmm, I really didn't take a "before" picture. Didn't want to set myself up for failure, strange as it sounds! If I win the challenge, I'll see if I can find a pic of myself close to the time this first challenge began.....

You bet I feel smaller! Got a long way to go, but am super happy with how far I've come thus far. It's going to be a nail-biter tomorrow.

I just want to clarify, as I'm slightly confused... when it gets down to the final two, what determines the winner? Total % lost for the whole competition, or the % lost for the final week? I assumed it was going to be the total % lost for the whole competition, but it loosed like it's the latter, based on who won the 1st competition.

Trent, yes, I've based the competition based on week to week, not overal body % weight...The only reason, I showed the totals from beginning to the end is to see how far they've come.

Trent, maybe this is where the confusion may have come in...the Second Chance Comeback contestents...only the player with the biggest % of weight lost can come back.

Thanks Kim. I just (mistakenly) assumed that at the end, it would be based on total % lost (like how the Biggest Loser does it). Thanks for the clarification!

ohhh, I've followed one season of the biggest loser; however, I've never really watched the finale of "Biggest Loser"...but, I think, your right...they all come back and get weighed after being off the show for a period of time.

I just thought week-by-week was kind of fun...that way, almost any one has a chance...it's all good:happy:

But, if anyone has some suggestions to make it better or any ideas for challenge winners - or - twists of any kind...let me know, I'd love the input:bigsmile:

Don't mind me - I overthink things sometimes... lol. It does make sense to go week-to-week for the last week for us, since we're not going away for a few months! Wouldn't want to get into a position where one of the final two had no shot at winning because their total % lost was way lower than the other person's going into the final week.

Trent, no worries...but, I do appreciate feedback for the compeition...you guys keep me honest

Anyway, here is the word for tomorrow "Bikram" dated 5/25/11...I tried this exercise today and I think that I, in some sort of sick way, like it....it's the hot yoga 105 degrees for 90 minutes...yep, I took a nap when I got home. Oh, and I ate like a truck driver all day!!! It must have done something internally.

Maria, FYI, I still need your address if you feel comfortably PMing me with it. I need to co-ordinate and ship your prize for the first contest. You did an amazing job.

Good luck with the weigh-ins tomorrow...May the Muscle Busters not be picked off tomorrow

I'm off to little league now...walking, of course

Season finale of the Biggest Loser tonight. I think this is the last season I will watch. I haven't lost a pound watching it all these seasons.

Debbie, I've only watched one whole season of the Biggest Loser...it was the one where the Italian guy from Chicago won. Michael, I think was his name.

Also, I'll have you know that I have not had one alcoholic beverage this week and the dang scale better show it. I've been awfully jealous of Faith and her shenanigans.
