I managed to have a loss of .6 today. I had been weighing with a t-shirt on. Apparently that adds a lot of weight. Who woulda thought. Well, it was a hefty shirt too, not a skimpy one. Anyway, I'll take it! Now to make healthy choices for the upcoming week and maybe I can get below 144 for the first time in a LONG time.

Sorry to let you down, team. I gained. BUT not as badly as the scale was showing yesterday. Must've been that distilled water that helped me a bit - ha! :drinker: Anyway, I can't be too hard on myself, as I've lost weight for what, 20+ weeks straight. That's awesome progress IMO!! Guess I had to gain sooner or later. :ohwell: Hopefully I'll remain in this competition - I LOVE IT!! Good luck to everyone today. :flowerforyou:

My Mom and Dad have officially left...Now, I can get back to reality...we ate out a lot. I made good choices in the restaurants, but you don't really know all that's in the food. I did lots of walking; but, not a lot of cardio. I didn't hit my goal for this week and it makes me mad :explode:

As for picking a person to move - I don't think you can really go wrong. They are all doing amazing!!

Here are my thoughts after reviewing the spreadsheet...

Evai is very, very consistent (10 lbs) ...April is also doing very well (7 lbs)...McDebbie (8 lbs) is poised for a 10 day loss since she weighed in early and is doing very well

Accountant & Heather had big weight losses this week...so, I'm thinking it would be hard to do 2 weeks back-to-back

Mama...weighs more than when we started the comp...so, I think that's a wild card

Brit, I'm glad you won this decision...ooooo, the pressure

Wow, I've missed a busy day I guess. Yesterday we were gone all day and came home and all fell asleep. I just happened to wake up long enough to remember to post my weight, then went back to sleep and just now got back on the computer. I can't believe I won again this week. I guess I really do need to stick with my chicken and veggies.

Soooo, I guess we need to figure out who we want on our team. Too much pressure on me lol. Anyone want to vote?

Brit, whatever your doing is working and you've broken thru that plateau...so happy that you won again...hope you are loving being 6 lbs lighter...Even if you don't have a place to live...at least, your skinny!!!

Ha, ha, winning is bittersweet...I gave my input on the previous post on the 3 strong possibilities for next week

Faith gets up in the afternoon 'cause she's in Aussie land; then, she'll have a chance to give her vote...Connie was eliminated, Tamara doesn't really post on the threads...so, that leaves me, you, Shannon and Faith.

I guess you get to decide from there.

    Keep it up!!!

I vote debbie, let's have another lush on the team! Hahaha. So we did win? Man I am confused. Lack of sleep due to it being so cold here.

We lost Healthymom because we were the losing team...they lost more weight...Brit beat Trent for total % and won this week's challenge

Brit was the biggest % loser so she gets to pick a player from the other team to come to our side...Thank God!!

    Ha, ha...Team Lush

Well, McDebbie will be up for that 10 day loss. That could really hurt us next week if she's on the other team. And, she's pretty consistent each week...

So, I've been thinking about it more. Maybe Accountantboi would be a better pick. He's had a pretty steady loss, and he's their team captain. Taking him from their team might break some of their motivation....hmmmm.

oooo, I like they psychologically approach.....mentally break them down

    - or -

The wildcard, Mama, and toss the dice...

Sooo, many good ones to choose from, so little time

Do you all read their thread, cause they read this one? I started there so I still have that thread in my topics. I check it out, they definately read here so why not, right? Just curious.

Kiddos come back today so we'll probably start eating better, and doing more. They've been gone a week, I miss them and their chaos.

So what are we all doing to make sure we lose a pound or two or MORE this week?

    Myself -
    No more alcohol this week.
Exercise at least 30 mins a day.
Be under cals at least 5 times this week.
Drink copious amounts of water daily.
Forgo my dessert treat 3 times this week (even though they stay under my cals).

What is your plan to LOSE LOSE LOSE and WIN this week's prizes?!

:grumble: 60 minutes of exercise every day
 5 servings of fruits and veggies
:brokenheart: Track the stupid calories everyday and hit the button

Just looks at my calendar and in two weeks, my lushy wine-drinking sister arrives...that just might be my elimination weel...ugh:sad:

I'm trying sooo hard not to let all the stress I have over this move take over me. It seems like ever since we found out we had to move I've lost all self control. I'm begging myself to stop picking up everything in the kitchen and eating it. Doesn't help that I printed out a moving check list and one of the things to do was "Start using up food you have stored so there is less to move" Yeah, now I walk through the kitchen saying "Well I don't want to have to pack this up."

All the packing and cleaning must be burning some major cals though Brit - that's a plus! Hang in there, maybe the stress will help move some lbs?

    WTG Kim! :drinker:

45mins exercise today, plan to do 45 again tomorrow.
    Under cals today.
    No alcohol today
    Drinking lots of water.

I am thinking though tomorrow night will be lush night. (as I have just scored a 2 day break for tues/wed. If I do I must exercise for an hour min on tues and wed. Deal? :blushing:

Eh, I'm just hoping after being the individual winner two weeks in a row, I don't get eliminated this week. I'm going to try really hard to focus on lots of water, lots of veggies, and no junk the next few days.

Kim, great job with getting the exercise and fruits & veggies in.

Faith, awesome day for you too.

Brit, I've learned to throw things out when I have no self-control...or, maybe start doling it out to neighbors, friends or food shelves...Do you have packers and movers all lined up? Or, do you have to do it all by yourself

    Faith, it's a deal!!!

The scale was was rude today and told me the way it is.

So, it's going to be a rough day going to the minor league baseball game for the St. Paul Saints. Ummm, tailgaiting. So, I am not eating a hotdog. I will pack a 3 oz burger for myself and 2 ribs that we cooked last night. I am packing lots of water and berries to munch on. The chips will be my main challenge and, of course, beer

Today, 64 minutes of brisk walking/jogging...started the C25K yesterday--check, already done
No liquor - or - chips
    No eating after 7:00
logging and then eating; not, eating and then logging
    5 fruits and veggies

My company leaves today and I am safe from visitors for 2 weeks. Did I mention how lushy my sister and I can be together???

Anyone heard from Debbie? Hi, Debbie!!

Goals- continue turbo fire as scheduled. I am going to try to get two days in today as i took friday off. One is cardio then 20 mins core and 40 mins yoga so we'll see. I start week 5 tomorrwo (or the next day) and I thi.k its focused on more cardio, which is good for me.

Ive been not too good with snacks lately so I need to cut back on that. I havent gone overboard but I need to resist better.
