    Love having everyone together again!

I hated that people who'd had their babies felt like "lurkers" if they came to the pregnancy thread, and when I went on the post-natal thread I felt like a "stalker". We shouldn't have to feel that way, cause eventually, we will all "just be", so might as well be together now!

As far as the closed group thing, I'm pretty sure it still shows up in the list on the message boards, but when you put that it is a closed group, people don't usually post/comment unless they were specifically invited. I've seen a few of the challenge groups on here that say they are closed. I guess I've never even clicked on them to see if I could access them or post because, I wasn't invited to the group

Since some of the people from the pregnancy thread may have joined after some of the babies were born, why not do another introduction type of thing to get to know each other?

Aw. Good idea. Thanks for the invite!

I joined MFP the day I got back from my honeymoon. I was officially 201 pounds and fed up. I had the worst time in grad school. It was tough and I didn't like the town we lived in. Some people think Boone is amazing, but I thought it was depressing. Either way, I ate away my sorrows. Really bad timing because I was also planning our wedding and hoping to be a skinny bride. Instead I was the heaviest I had ever been in my life. My friend had joined MFP a few months earlier to work off pregnancy weight, so I just jumped on the band wagon. I lost 35 pounds before getting pregnant. My goal weight was 155, though with my body type and height I feel like I look great at 165 or less (and sick looking if I'm less than 150). I hit 167 before little Emma, so that will be my goal once she comes out. I'm hoping to reach it by New Years, but not going to stress too much over it.

Thanks for the invite lynn!! This is a great idea!!! I have missed all of those who have already had their babies and would like to keep in touch as our lil ones grow. :)

I joined MFP December 2008 when dh and I seriously decided that we wanted to conceive within the next two years. I was about 40 lbs over weight so I wanted to start my pg at a healthy weight I lost 23lbs and then lost my gpa early 2010 and lost another 15lbs due to grief and then over the summer gained it all back I didn't want to wait anymore so we decided I would continue my weight loss and see when we conceive, little did we know that it would happen very quickly. We conceived in October and can't wait to meet our LO in July. I hope to continue my weight loss and get to my goal weight of 150 I started my pregnancy at 185 and am now 214. I had the most success using Jillian Michael's 30 shred dvd so I can't wait to have jillian kick my butt again very soon.

First of all the reason I joined MFP was for the accountability. I had tried all sorts of things and it is really hard to stay motivated. MFP was (is) good for me, because I am a visual person so I liked seeing how many calories I put in, and how much weight I could lose if I continued eating that way. I had gone from 162 to 152 using MFP before I got preggers. Anyway, I am glad I have this tool to help me get back on track after I have my little girl. And I am glad that not only I have this, but now I have a great group of support! You ladies rock!

Patricia, I am sorry you aren't feeling well! I hope you find some relief today!!

Ronya, that is a great story! You are definitely an inspiration! Way to get where you needed to be for you baby girl. :)

Jamie, I am glad to see you again!

As, for the rest, you are all an inspiration! And I am glad we can do this together.

    Here is stuff about me,

I love this!!!! Thank you for inviting me. I have not been around a lot for the last few days but will be catching up/replying to all in greater detail soon.

How exactly does a closed group work? You need the link to access it?

Children: Pregnant with first, due August 12th- I think it's a boy! We will see.

I joined MFP because I have always struggled with my weight, and it was recommended to me by a friend who lost over 30lbs and looked great! I was trying to lose weight for baby but ended up getting pregnant before I got much of the weight off.

Ok you Magnificent mamas...Question! This may be TM, but hey after all we've shared it shouldn't be a surprise...LOL

I go back for my 6 week checkup (well, actually it's only 5 weeks) tomorrow, but I want to know if what I'm seeing/feeling is normal. I tore a little bit while delivering Annabelle and I got some stitches. Where I was stitched (perineum) feels pretty hard down there and is still raised a bit. Is that normal for it to be hard like that...could it be scar tissue or something? Will that go down? Also, I'm having a little bit of discomfort around the other opening (pee hole? lol goodness what a lack of better words!!!). Any ideas?

I have torn with all of my babies and to me what you are feeling all sounds normal. I go in for my checkup tomorrow too. Hope it all goes well for you! I am sure it will.

Any word on the work dilemma?
