    No loss but no gain. For me that is a great triumph from my usual vacations.

    Wow, how did you do that?? That is great, I always gain on vacation. What was your strategy?

    I am not sure how I did not gain on vacation. I ate well and drank even better. I did make sure to get some walking done. I think maybe it has caught up with me since I got home. Today the scale was up 2 so maybe I did gain on vacation. Or maybe its not working out for 2 days because my lower back is so sore. Going to call and make an appointment for a massage this weekend.

    My son has a soccer tourney most the day Sat (we are signed up for a GO COMMANDO run but our wave runs at the same time as my sons game and the drive to parking is at least an hour) and getting company Sunday for a few days.

    WOW everyone is doing fabulous with their weighins! KUDOS to you all! :bigsmile:

    I started my Bix 7 training last night (7 mile race on July 30th) I thought I was going to only do about 4 miles, but I just kept going! I did 5.92 miles in 1hr 10min & 54sec! I didn't even push myself at all. I was pretty psyched with myself! The only thing I was really worried about was MOVING today. However I got home last night - stretched out good, took a shower & relaxed. Then I took an Ibuprofen before bed & actually slept like a baby! That normally doesn't happen for me! So this morning I got up & I was moving just fine, so I let Jillian kick my booty to start my day. :bigsmile:

    I've done this 7 mile race several times before (normally walking) and then I'm laid up for 2 days afterwards in pain....not this time! I'm stoked that I feel so great! :bigsmile:

    I am presently in Washington DC doing a workshop. Actually I've been here all week and it is about to come to an end. I fly out to utah in a few hours and then on up to Idaho to see my parents for a month.
    I am so ready for my summer vacation to really begin.
    I ran almost every day here before the work shops and enjoyed the scenery of the green trails. LOVELY difference from Cairo's brown and dirty streets.

    Actually gained a pound this week, what a bummer. Gonna up my game for July.
    Total lost to date: 4.5 pounds (still got a few days left in June, though?)

    Congrats to all you, on this challenge. It's great to hear how your doing and of course, double congrats, to all of you
    who made your 5 or more. Awesome--to be a part of this challenge with all of you.

    No way I will make it this month. Heading out of town again tomorrow but will be back in time for final weight in.

    I am shocked that I've lost 4lbs thus far! Just a couple weeks ago I was thinking I wouldn't make the cut, but now I'm determined to lose this last pound! WE CAN DO THIS!

    :happy: Soooo excited!! I'm only 2.9 pounds away from my first real "goal" weight and I have 6 weeks left on my weight loss program. If I can keep up this trend, I can make it back down in the 150's! :happy:

    I love summer. The kids are on my computer so much that this is the first time I can actually sit and type. Hopefully later today I can catch up with everyone's post. I can't do it right now because the daycare kids will start arriving soon.

    Final weigh-in tomorrow. How is everyone doing? I am a chronic daily weigher. On Monday I was up at 185 and was so discouraged because this was a gain of 1 pound and this morning I was back to 182. Go figure.

    I finally got brave and tried Greek Yogurt. I am a now a fan, but not sure if my memory is bad but to me it tastes like yogurt used to taste back in the late 70's when I first tried yogurt. Thick and tart but very tasty. I guess over the years they have been adding more and more sugar.

    This has been a great day for working out. I am the 100 mile challenge and I challenged myself to walk/run 100 miles and bike 100 miles. I was very short on the walking at the start of this week but it is only Wednesday and I have walked or ran 21 miles this week. Today I have gone 8.2 miles on my feet and biked another 15. I have burned over 2000 calories.

    As you can see by my ticker I made the challenge for biking and need a few miles tomorrow to get it for walking.

    so wish me luck im going on a date with my 3 year old and my hubby to the movies we are going to see cars 2! im going all out too having a drink and lots of popcorn with salt and tons of butter and maybe even a treat. also we are going out to dinner so im having enchiladas with sauce and tons of cheeese at los amigos. heck iv already gained 4 pounds this month so far right back up to 154 but oh well it will be a good ending to the month and a good starting point for next month so i can hopefully get myself under control before i try to get pregnant.

    Fantastic job Terri! I need to get myself motivated with walking/jogging, I think I may set a challenge for myelf for July :)

    What brand of greek yogurt do you like and do you eat it straight or mixed? I tried one before and it was horrible.. I think I may try a different brand as it's been MONTHS since I've had it..



    I, too, weigh daily, and I hate that I do. I love and hate seeing the weight change day to day..
    My starting weight on June 1st was 197.8 then June 7th: 199.8 , June 17th: 197.8 , June 21st: 196.8, so at this point I don't think I'll hit 192.8, but I'd be glad to be under 196.8... *sigh* my lowest mfp weight was 193.2 back in April and I have been up ever since. I'm hoping my strength training will pay off one of these days. Although, Kelly and I have been doing 30 day shred challenge to do 30days straight, today was day 17. I'm hoping to see at least a change in my measurements if not the scale..
