So what is turbo jammers?? I haven't seen the info. mercial. Is it fun enough to keep me interested? After awhile the dvd workouts get boring. but I am interested and game to join the Turbo Jammers. I have been working out on my treadmill am in the middle of muscle building not so much weight loss. that is the time you really have to gritt your teeth and remind yourself that it is health not just weight!!:bigsmile:0

Turbo Jam is so much fun. The music is great. Chalene Johnson just makes the entire workout exciting. There's some kicking, some punching, some dancing.
I actually bought my first Turbo Jam set off of Craigslist and the rest of the Turbo DVD's off of Amazon.0 -
You can do it!!! I think we just have to come to the point where we decide that it will take change to reach the dreams we have for our selves!

Too bad we aren't in the same time zone...I'd give you a morning wake up text!!! lol.
I'll be up at 5 am my time to go to the gym...if I can do it...you can too!!! :drinker:
I do turbo at night and gym in the morning.
OH AND!!! I lost 2.4 pounds last week. I weigh in on Tuesdays (Wednesday this week)
Good Job!!! I am definitely going to try. I am just exhausted now that my husband works 3rd shift. Still getting used to that, again....But I have slacked on exercise and getting all my water in...I am still eating well though..So for you getting up at 5:00, that is my goal for tomorrow. :bigsmile:
Thanks. I know what you mean about exhaustion...seriously! I set out my workout clothes and set my alarm (which is on my phone) in the bathroom next to my heart rate monitor. I get up to turn it off and see my HRM there and know I am getting up this early for a reason! I say a prayer..."God help me just get my clothes on." :laugh: Cause once they are on...I"m good to go!
I try to get in a gallon of water a day...its pretty hard sometimes, but water is the only liquid I drink, except for one cup of coffee in the morning.
Skittles you can do it!! Do it for your kids!!

Plus, I need to be able to get into a sexy Halloween costume, hehe...My husband works 7 nights a week and he is off the whole Halloween weekend. So, there, just made another goal LOL0 -
My first class at Northwestern University (teaching TK) went great! I had about 29 students there, mostly females but there were some guys hiding in the back. They caught on really fast and were having a great time. I think I shall enjoy teaching there0

It's Erin73RN. You know the French's, right? I think I've seen your name on the message boards. Mike and my husband are coworkers. Our kids used to play, and we'd get together but don't anymore...not too sure why.
As for the picture thing...are you saying we have to update a picture DAILY?? Because I always enter after my workouts, like 5-6 days per week. Also, do you know if you need to have a transformation story to win daily prizes or just for the 10K??0 -

Tonight is when I teach vinyasa yoga and cardio bellydance... so that'll be my workouts from 7-9pm tonight.

I am so excited to find other Jammers!!!! I got the original after my first child was born in 2006 & last year (as a gift from my hubby for our 2nd pregnancy) he got me the 2 live dvds I was unable to use them after only having them for a month cuz I got really sick with my 2nd prego - so I started back up last week and I hope to get in a workout everyother day! As I'm a stay at home mom I thought that would be easy to do - but the girls keep me so busy that some days I just don't get to it.

Got my workout in today...wasn't TJ. Did P90's Fat Burning Express because I needed an effective quick workout. I like the TJ 20 min, but I don't burn enough calories for my liking and usually do in at the end of my Turbo Sculpt day.

I had a great day. Did Back & Biceps (P90X) w/ my dh around 4, ate dinner, and then swam 1,200 yds while my dd's were at swimming lessons. My arms are going to be fried tomorrow!0 -

So, I ranch for a living with my husband and I worked cows all morning until lunch time had to run back and forth jump up on a walkway about 50 times, I am going to have to count that for today!! I will being doing my situps and watching what I eat this evening!! :bigsmile:

Good job everybody!!! Sorry to say I did not do my TJ this morning. My eight year old woke me up at 3 am and I only had about 4 hours sleep. So I will have to do it tomorrow...But Keep Up The Good Work!!!:happy:0

Tonight is strenght for me... I'm gonna hit mostly my upper body and core (variations of push-ups, pull-ups, pilates style core work, and hanging core work).
