Day 9 done!! I have to miss tomorrow but I'm gonna go for a run instead. And then since I'm coming back in town only Sunday night I'm still undecided whether I want to start level 2 at Sunday night or wait until Monday morning. I'm thinking I will wait because I will probably be tired and exhausted on Sunday and don't wanna start off feeling frustrated. So Day 10 will be still Level 1 for me, but I must say, even though I am able to do all the exercises, it's still hard for me to push through the whole workout without any breaks so I think it's still working for me!
Anyhow, I am with you guys when it comes to seeing changes. Well kinda. I think I see that my legs are more defined and my pants are definitely more lose, however this is only true for my lower legs and the knee area. When it comes to my upper thighs, they still look like always and I actually kinda feel like my tummy got a little bigger. But I'm really trying not to freak out about this, I will just finish the workout and then the measurements will tell me what really happened.
One change that I am definitely seeing is, that I am sitting more straight now with my shoulders back, also when I'm walking, I actually feel a little taller now, which is a great change cause I always struggle with my posture especially when sitting on the desk the whole day. Anyone else having that experience?

Also, you guys, I know it's still so early to even think about it, but I am so excited about this workout DVD, which was the first home workout DVD that I ever got, that I think I want to keep going after the 30 days. I love JM's workouts because I can fit 30 minutes beautifully in my morning schedule. So I was thinking about doing the Ripped in 30 after the 30DS. Anyone with me?
I know, I know, I should've waited to blurt this out because we still have long ways to go on this DVD. I'm just overexcited haha. I never had so much fun working out ever!

I just started my Shred in 30 yesterday,,,,I had no idea there was a ripped in 30 I'm totally in!
I love that it's such a fast work out so there's no reason why you can't spare half an hour,,,,no more excuse

Awesome! I don't know...I feel like my stomach feels tighter, but I got a pudge and I don't notice it reshaping yet. I think my arms are fitting better in my shirts that have the smaller upper arm size and I think my pants are looser (but it is hard to tell on my pants because I was waiting until I lost 10 more pounds before going to buy my next round of clothes.)
I have decided to wait till the end so I don't get discouraged if it isn't showing up yet (for measurement). My weight seems to be starting to even back out to my starting point. Am just a 1/2 pound more than I was when I started the 30DS, so hopefully it will start to go down now.Kory, we are on the same day of the shredtoday was also my second day of level 2. I'm also finding all the planks SO HARD! Have you noticed any changes in your body yet?

day 12 done for me, 2nd day of level 2. a wee bit easier than yesterday but maybe coz i knew what was coming. yesterday i just jumped in not knowing what to expect. still had to do a couple of modified moves though and had a mini break near the end. some tough moves in level 2!
as for what to do after 30DS i was toying with the idea of doing the 30 day slimdown rotation. but will get through 30 DS first before deciding.

Nice! I was feeling pretty discouraged due to lack of changes... but this morning I dropped 1.4lbs and am at my lowest weight yet! I was also stuck at about 1/2 a pound more than when I started, so if you're anything like me, it will go down soon! And when I looked REALLY closely at my stomach, I thought I saw a tiny bit of definition (a bit of a line down my upper abs) , though I still have a layer of fat around my midsection to lose before I can see anything there, lol. But now I have hope! Congrats on making it so far!
Level 2 exercises are still pretty hard, I spent part of the last circuit curled in a ball on the floor...:blushing: oh well! tomorrow will be better! GOOD LUCK to everyone starting level 2 tomorrow, be sure to let us know what you thought!

*sigh* been having some health issues and just couldn't push through it. Turned on the dvd last night, had on my work out clothes and shoes and then Marah (my 3mo old daughter) started screaming, my headache turned into a migraine, and I felt even sicker. so I turned the dvd off. I'm having issues because of the depo and it's starting to scare me, I'm losing focus in everyday things and my energy is low. My milk supply seems to be getting low and I measured myself and I'm loosing inches. 3/4 in off under my belly button (where my love handles are) 1 1/2 in off my waist at the belly button, 1/2 in off each thigh, 1/2 in off my hips, 1/4 off my neck so far. Today is Day 7 Level 1 today and even if it kills me (it just might) I'm going to do it! No more rest days! Really needing some encouragement guys, I'm having a lot of health issues I'm trying to work through!0

I'm sorry to hear you're having health issues. Working out can be really hard with a little one around too - I've got a 19 month old and I'm only just now really getting in daily workouts without interference. Can you speak with a doctor about the issues with the depo (if you haven't)?0 -

Can I join, too? I finished day 8 of level 1 today, and I am taking a break tomorrow because I am sick (achy like the flu all over, ugh!) But, I will be back on day 9 level one either Sunday or Monday depending on how I am feeling. I am new to MFP so I don't have all my stats and goals listed, but I will get it on here soon.0

Level 2 Day 2 was harder than yesterday. I am plum tuckered. I did it earlier tonight though. Hoping to go to bed early and wake up and shred!0 -
i've added myself to the list- i hope you guys don't mind.
yesterday my calves really hurt (L1d3)- i haven't had sore calves in a long time, so that was interesting! i dialled it down slightly today (i have a 10k race tomorrow and am scared of having sore legs for it). but the bit i'm finding hardest are the side lunges with the lateral arm raises. and i worked out that i'm good with the lunges, but it's the arm raises that are killing me! and i'm only using 2lb weights!!
