    Tomorrow is Week 6/Day 3 of C25K - 25 minutes!!

    Great job on the C25K!!!

    I'm going to start the C25K again on Monday...do you think I should start with Week 3 or 4?

    I'd try starting on Week 4 and if that's extremely difficult, then back up to Week 3. I'm sure you can do W4 though! Glad you're restarting it.

    Thanks, Niki!! After looking at the times, I am going to start with Week 4...

    last week: with some crazy cleaning i ended up with 482 minutes/1997 calories

    this week:
    monday: 3.5 mile run/309
    tuesday: walk 30/113
    wednesday: 3.1 mile run 30/273, clean 110/273
    total so far: 208 minutes/968 calories


    so sorry i've been MIA lately...i have less time in the summer to catch up than i do when i am working during the school year...seems counter-intuitive, but its true :) always cheering you all on even if i don't get on as often to tell you!!! :)

    Wow Andrea you came back strong!! I have been so busy I missed your 482 last week!! Awesome!! And it looks like you are on another roll this week!! Awesome!

    thank you!!! the ONLY way i got even close was counting cleaning out our old apartment...i put in some serious time de-slobbing the place :) but i think it is going to pay off and we will get the majority of our security deposit back which is a miracle with a dog who chews things up when he panics :)

    Time to update my week:

    Monday - 156 minutes (C25K, walk, yardwork)
    Tuesday - 120 minutes (yardwork)
    Wednesday 300 minutes (C25K, walk, yardwork)
    Thursday - 150 minutes (walk, yardwork)

    My yardwork is excessive this week as we decided to install an above-ground pool by ourselves. This week has been shoveling and raking a crushed stone layer, and then a sand layer for the base of the pool. Lots of shoveling and raking. I figure it counts as both cardio and strength! I did manage to get my dog out 3 times so far this week, and she is very appreciative. Tomorrow is Week 6/Day 3 of C25K - 25 minutes!!

    great work!!! yardwork is a crazy burn and tons of work :)

    Last Monday's walk was great, but the days after were unbearable!!!

    I have been moving around the house, running up and down the stairs doing laundry, cleaning and running around after kids - but I didn't log it.

    I have been busy this weekend - moving my foster children out of my daughter's room and into their new room. Who knew kids could have sooooo much STUFF?!?!? Today I will spend time putting some things in a place and throwing away some things.

    This is great for me because I will have my basement back for ME!!! I am so excited that I am actually giddy!!!

    I'm on my way out for a walk before it gets too hot. I'll check back in later with my numbers for today.

    Monday = Rest
    Tuesday = 50 minutes = 513 calories.
    Wednesday = 55 minutes = 551 calories
    Thursday = nothing... worked and then band practice
    Friday = Rest
    Saturday = 55 minutes running = 564 calories + 180 minutes walking/shopping = 461 calories
    Sunday = 55 minutes running = 515 calories

    Not sure how basically the same run gave me such a different burn each time, but I'm glad I had the HRM for those. Didn't count all the walking we did yesterday, but we shopped for 10 hours, so I counted 3. Good enough!

    I may still take a walk or swim today and I'll count it if I do. If not, this week I've done 395 minutes and burned 2604 calories!
