Monday, 92 minutes, JM's NMTZ and dog walking...665 calories
Tuesday, 27 minutes, Shred #1, 186 calories
Wednesday, 54 minutes, JM's BFBM...440 calories
Thursday, 60 minutes, river tubing...300 calories
Total: 233 minutes, 1591 calories
I took the kids river tubing down a river. It took about 3 hours. I think I will just count it as one hour of trending water. Most of the time we were just floating, some arm paddling and bouncing off the tubes.
Andrea, welcome back...did the house sale go well?
Mollie, your on fire this week!!!
VJ, if it's still hot, may I recommend tubing...it was a GREAT day!!0 -
Hello my workout warriors. Just a note to let you know I am still here. Very busy with the heat and all the animals. Great exercise!!! But not alot of time for posting. :drinker: Alice0

That is a great idea - except I'm afraid of large bodies of water unless I'm on a cruise ship LOL!! I can't swim!!
I'm still trying to get in my walks during lunch but it is extremely hot. At noon, the temp is 101!! The heat index is about 110!!!
Tonight my foster children will be gone until tomorrow so I will be able to get in some cardio while I have some time to myself and the house is quiet.0 -
Thanks Kim! I told you all I am getting my 360 this week!:bigsmile:
Kim, you are on fire this week too with 3 more days to go!!
Hello Alice, be careful out there in all this heat!! Drink that water!:drinker: :drinker:
VJ, I hear you on the tubing! Enjoy your evening workout!!
Have a good weekend everyone!! I hope to post some more minutes this evening. That is the plan but not sure!0 -

Monday = Rest
Tuesday = 40 minutes = 428 calories
Wednesdy = rest
Thursday = 85 minutes = 922 calories
Friday = Rest
Saturday = 110 minutes = 1262 calories
Sunday = 40 minutes = 398 calories (so far, this may change if I get in a bike ride later!)
So this was all running and felt really great! I'm training for my first 1/2 marathon in September and next week is a taper week which means just 4-4milers instead of all this crazy mileage. Then it starts back up again the next week. Looking forward to an "easy" week!!!! Of course, I'm working extra for someone... so it's not like it will be easy!!!! LOL!
And thanks Kim! I have actually lowered my goal weight twice now. It was 140, then 135, now I'm saying 130. I haven't been this small since college and I'm not sure how much lower I will go, but I feel great, so I'm going to keep going! Seriously, if my body says this is where it wants to be, it's fine with me!!! I'm in a size 6 for the first time in forever!!! I started at around 180, so don't give up!!!! You can do it, because if I can, you can!!!! My motto for the last 6 months has been "more jogging and more logging"... just keep going! It's totally worth it!0 -
So I finished the week with 275 minutes. Not my best week, but it's fine. Just didn't do a lot extra when it was 110 degrees outside!!! Should do better next week. On the upside... I did burn... 3285 calories this week!!! I'm happy with that!0

GOOD JOB EVERYONE!! Considering the HEAT I think we all are to be commended!! Even for me working out on the inside it is still more challenging. I don't feel like moving because some days it is 80 degrees early morning. So lets say YAY for giving it an all out effort! :flowerforyou: I don't think I actually got my minutes in all month. But I am not giving up!! I have one more week to go for it!! Are you all with me?? Let shoot for it one more week. Just put your best food forward!!:flowerforyou:0 -

Andrea, thanks for the cheering....glad to hear from you!!

Wow Andrea you came back strong!! I have been so busy I missed your 482 last week!! Awesome!! And it looks like you are on another roll this week!! Awesome!0 -
Time to update my week:
Monday - 156 minutes (C25K, walk, yardwork)
Tuesday - 120 minutes (yardwork)
Wednesday 300 minutes (C25K, walk, yardwork)
Thursday - 150 minutes (walk, yardwork)
My yardwork is excessive this week as we decided to install an above-ground pool by ourselves. This week has been shoveling and raking a crushed stone layer, and then a sand layer for the base of the pool. Lots of shoveling and raking. I figure it counts as both cardio and strength! I did manage to get my dog out 3 times so far this week, and she is very appreciative. Tomorrow is Week 6/Day 3 of C25K - 25 minutes!!0
