Why the forearm and wrist? I never heard of that before

The wrist & forearm measurements are used in the body fat formula. The wrist & forearm is the base to determine are body fat. Since this is r starting week & we don't have comparable #'s. I'm going to post r BMI's & body fat % just for our information.

Thanks for posting. You are right, very hard to see. I have a ways to go to healthy BMI and body fat % About 26 lbs to be exact, thena few lbs more to feel great!

I am hoping to be in the healthy range by October 16th when I run my first half marathon.

    What are everyone else's goals?

My goals are to be able to fit into the clothes I wore pre-pregnancy and would love to get to a smaller size than that. Ultimate GW for me is 120. I would also love to be physically fit for the first time in my life ;-)

You know my doctor and I are on this journey together and we have agreed that I should at least try and get to 150lbs...I weighed in Friday at 157.6, but my final goal will be some where around 140 to 143...I really don't want to be smaller then 140...so I have a little ways to go and hope to lose at least 12-14lbs these next 3 months through this challenge...I will probably find other challenges on MFP to help me reach this goal...

But at the end of the day, better eating and exercise I know will be the key.

Good luck to EVERYONE...We can get healthy together 1 day at a time...:flowerforyou:

I know that we can do it. Not saying that it isn't going to be a long road ahead of us. I know that my weight & unhealthy living didn't come over night. So, we can't expect for it to come off over night. Good luck BLC.

Thanks for doing this, it really is a great motivation knowing I have to post the figures at the end of each week! It's kept me on track once already this week!!

glad to hear...it has forced me to drink more water and work out more. These are both my weaknesses.
