Well ladies, I am scared to look at the scale tomorrow because it is not going to be pretty. I am so hungry lately and I keep overeating with junk food. I am trying the snack suggestions you gave but I can't kick my cravings. I am even consciously drinking water all day. At least if I were exercising regularly it might not be as bad. I need to find my inner strength again since I worked hard for this 21 lbs with still 15 to go!0

<sigh> Not a good week here. Life has conspired to make it impossible for me to exercise for the last several days and I haven't been making great food choices. I weighed in up a pound this morning. 199.0

I am down 1lb which leaves me at 125lb. SO happy. Those of you who had a rough week-start again and let's see some results next week. You can do it!0

The scale is going the wrong way, up 2lbs since my last weigh in. I have been exercising daily and not going over my calories. I'm changing my daily calories back to 1200 to see if that works better for me. They were at 1500 but never went over either Weigh in at 135 this week. For everyone that lost weight, GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!. For those of us who didn't do so good, let's brush it off and keep going strong. Good luck.0

184.2 this week. Gain of .2 lbs...hopefully one of this days I'll have a breakthrough and start seeing some real weight loss.

I know! I had to go to Target at lunch yesterday so picked up a Lean Cuisine and then KETTLE CHIPS AND A HERSHEY BAR! What is wrong with us? And no exercise for three days. Maybe we are tired of watching the diet and exercising? I don't know, but like you I need to get some motivation.

Good Morning Shortys!!! Well, this week I'm in at 169.6. I am not too upset though because I just changed up my food and exercise this week. I'm hoping for some results next week though. I'm giving up cardio for a while to see what happens.

Hi all. Been ill this week, stomach bug, lost 5 lbs. Not a good way to lose weight so it probably shouldn’t count (besides I’ll probably put it back on!).

Well it wasn't horrible... I stayed the same. No loss or gain since last week. Who is up for a mini challenge this week??? It seems like we all need a bit of motivation. We could do something like workout at least 4 days or for a certan number of minutes for the week. Or drink 8 glasses of water and eat x-number of fruits and veggies per day. What do you all think????0

Hello! Sorry for the late posting but I was missing a lot of weigh ins this week.
Let's all focus on our mini-challenges for this week and next week of 8 - 10 glasses of water and more servings of fruits and veggies. I know they say "5 a day" but I did see that you can use a tool on this website to tell you how much of each you should eat: http://www.fruitsandveggiesmatter.gov/
Mine said 1.5 cups of fruit and 2.5 cups of veggies ~ then there is a link to give you food suggestions. Good luck!

Hi ‘WishComeTru’ - thanks for the chart and the link. Checked my veg/fruit requirements: apparently I need 2 cups fruit / 2.5 cups veg. It’ll be interesting to see if I can achieve that. Thanks for sharing info and good luck for the week.0

Great chart and link. Mine also said I need 2 cups of Fruit and 2 1/2 cups of Veggies. I have the water thing down but really need to work on my fruits and veggies! Lets see if I can do it. Everyone have a great Monday!:happy:0

Glad you liked the link! I learned today that I really need to work on my fruit and veggie intake. I have a hard time incorporating them into meals because I prefer calorie-ridden carbs. haha Today I was able to do 1.5 cups of fruit and 1.75 cups of veggies (of 1.5 and 2.5). Any suggestions are welcome for incorporating more! The fruit is not too tough but veggies can be. I actually sat down with a bowl of cucumbers, 1 tbsp each of blue cheese dressing and buffalo wing sauce ~ weird huh? Well it got some extra veggies in me at least!0

Sorry I missed the weigh in, because I had taken a break from counting calories I was trying not to step on the scales. I did gain but as of today I am back to my previous weight so I will just say no change for last week and hopefully I will have a loss to show by Thursday0

I'm back down this week to 234.3 I"m pushing it hard this month and am wanting to get to the mid 220s. The last few weeks I have not been 100% on track but that stops today. It's a new month and a new goal has been set! No excuses!!!0 -

So Far so good. I am down 1 more pound so I am at 124lbs. Good luck girls. I will say for the mini challenge I am having a really hard time drinking 8 cups of water. I really have to force myself , but then I am in the bathroom every 15 minutes. I will go back to substitute teaching next week and this wont work. What do I do? The fruit is no problem. Help please.0

Weigh in this morning at 146.4. I always weigh in less on Wednesdays (which is my official weigh in day) and am back up some on Thursday. I just don't get it. At least its a loss this week. I did great on the water but really have to work on fruits. I am ok on veggies, but could always do better on them too. Everyone have a great Thursday!:happy:0
