Since I gained 1.6lbs at weigh in today (went nuts Thursday at my nephew's bday dinner), I decided to walk extra today. After lunch I burned 624 calories on a long walk, and now I just got home from another walk where I burned 524 calories. 1148 calories burned today, yay!!0

Went to Costco today and bought a big thing of V8 juice... I figure that will help me get my veggies on days I don't eat enough. I mostly get enough fruits and veggies throughout the week, but sometimes I fix supper for the boys and they hate veggies. I try to keep single serving microwavable veggies in the freezer, but that's not always possible. I don't mind drinking them, tho! (And yes, I got the low sodium kind! )0

Hay gang,
I haven't checked in for awhile. I work very crazy hours with 3 jobs. I've been up and down on the water, but good with the veggies/fruits until today - gave my fruit to my honey whom is working an extra shift tonight. I'm really struggling with the weight thing. I found that I started to gain weight after getting down to my lowest in God knows how long; then started to creep back up. I thought maybe because I've bumped up my exercise and haven't been eating back my exercise calories that maybe I was getting into starvation mode. So I've tried to eat back a small portion of my exercise calories, and I'm still gaining..... I'm frustrated and not so sure where to go from here. Any thoughts or suggestions would be most helpful.0 -

Been doing a lrighton the challenges. Water isn't really a problem for me, but it's been harder making sure I get the 5 fruits/veggies. Think it's been going well, except yesterday... didn't quite make the 5.

Didn't so well with the challenge but I at least tried every day. So for me that was an accomplishment.
Went shopping yesterday and walked way too much so today my knee is killing me.

I've been away from home all weekend, and this has helped me in one way or another. (either to pick something to eat, or to remind me how 1 small fry is not worth 400 calories...and wait till I get back to my moms to eat).0 -
my 'monthly' friend came to visit, I gained 1.5 this week...bummer :sad: :sad: oh well...I'll do better next week. Congrats to everyone, keep it up!

Yesterday I did a 17 mike kayaing trip, went home, got changed, and went to a balloon festival where I walked probably about 3 miles altogether before settling in for a Barenaked Ladies concert. It was a perfect day!
I hope you all got to enjoy your Saturday and get to make the most of this Sunday. Get in all your water and don't forget about those fruits and veggies! Maybe try to hit up a farmers market or fresh fruit stand today. Get out of the food store if you can and support your local growers. You can always taste the difference!
