    Way to go girls!!
    Today (thursday) I did my 50 crunches and was under in all food areas. Cardio was 60 mins! Sorry for the quick post but have an assignment due (haha I know right! I always have bloody assignments due. Can't wait to finish, only 7 weeks to go!!!)

    35 points for me today.. Tomorrow will be a nother really good day. Since I am off work ..

    Happy friday and then On sunday I start vacation YIPPEEE!! I need it so bad !!!

    Crunches - check!
    Under calories, barely but I made it!

    My heel is throbbing today. We are headed out for a day trip so lots of walking!!! It is my boyfriends birthday on Monday so I will be in and out all weekend. I will still be logging but if I don't get a chance to post it's not because I forgot about you!! I will most likely be communicating via phone but will make time at night if I can. :bigsmile:

    Friday challenge totals.

    60 mins of cardio
    including the 10 mins of dancing
    was over in fat.. by 2 or 3 points dang butter anyway ...

  • Hiii!!

    I was wayyy over in fat today, went to Red Lobster for Greg's birthday dinner but dam was it good. It looks like I will be in the pool for at least an hour in the morning!!

    Looks like I just have exercise calories. 180 minutes of walking. We went to a tourist attraction and walked around it for 5 hours. I only logged 3 because MFP over-calculates (in my opinion) exercise cals burned.

    No dancing for 10 minutes.

    90 points. I'll take it :flowerforyou:

    i forgot to update yesterday, so here goes!

    thursday:
    under calories: yes
    oblique crunches: 50 (ouchhhh).
    cardio: 100 minutes.
    total: 65

    friday:
    under fat: yes
    dancing: 10 minutes (yay, i love this one)
    cardio: 160 minutes.
    total: 95 (!!!)

    looking forward to a rest day tomorrow. drink up, ladies!! :]

    Hi everyone,
    well I'm shattered :sick: and so sick of studying :grumble: but I did drink all my 10 cups of water today (sat is still our rest day right??)

    Friday I did 80mins of cardio and also was under fat
    Also dancing was fun!!! I turned up the music went for gold:bigsmile:

  • hiiii there! got in all 10 cups of water, but sadly did not stay under sodium!! argh!! so that's a total of 100 for me for saturday!

    Sunday 40 mins of cardio and 50 pushups.... not so good on carbs.. I had pizza and toast and tomatos.. so darn good !!

  • hey ladies!! today i stayed under in carbs, did all the push ups, and had 148 minutes of cardio! wooh! so that's a total of 85 points from me today!

    @kamoira: Great Day!!

    I was under in carbs yesterday and took a 40 minute walk. No push ups. Total of 25 pts.

    Also, I have a funny story. So I went to the pool on Saturday and was just swimming along and kept pushing myself. I was in there for an hour and I was like ok, I can do this - 20 more minutes for 10 more points! Haha, I totally forgot that was the rest day, oops! :laugh:

    Sorry I haven't been super active on the board lately. I am calculating behind the scenes, though, and sending our totals to Jen. Sorry about last week. We didn't have any numbers up on the spread sheet all week because I was having some trouble with my internet, so now that I have that straightened out, all our totals are up. I like that everyone is posting their totals here, rather than sending me private messages. You can still message me if you want to, but I like the accountability of posting here. I haven't been posting my totals, because I just add them in at the end when I have yours, but I'll start posting mine here too. So far, I've got totals from everyone through Saturday. But it looks like I still need Sunday totals from kjnicol, and Monday from everybody!

    I'll start with Monday totals. I did 60 minutes, plus, all my crunches, and under calories, so that's 45 points for me on Monday.

    sorry i didn't post yesterday, life has been hectic these two days.

    so monday:
    under calories
    did 50 crunches
    60 minutes of cardio
    total: 45

    and today (tuesday):
    90% of protein (barely!)
    did the skater squats
    100 minutes of cardio
    total: 65

    hope everyone's doing well this week! happy wednesday (yaaaay halfway point!).

    Good morning ladies!!!!
    how is everyone doing? Haven't had time to read the boards or even post these days so sorry I've been so quiet. But I've still been chipping away at my challenges.
    Sunday - under carbs, 50 push ups but only 20 mins cardio
    Monday - under cals, 50 crunches but again only 20 mins cardio
    Tuesday- Over protein (even though didn't show on diary as I just logged my lunch under quick cals as a mate on MFP made lunch and told me the cal count :bigsmile: ) 50 skater squats and 140 mins cardio
    Wednesday - under fat, 50 dumbell pullovers and 80 mins cardio

    Wow I really missed alot. Ok off to make my DH a healthy breaky and then of to the pool for me. I'll be back sometime today to read all the posts Ive missed. Rock on ladies:bigsmile: :bigsmile:

    Tuesday --- dad had eye surgery just count me for 20 mins of cardio nothing else

    wednesday ---40 mins cardio.... 50 dumbbell pullovers ... under in fat......

    Dads surgery went well as did follow up appointment today.. No just to get the eye drops in him with out complaints..

    ON vacatoin canning all day tomorrow .. dancing in the kitchen while i work . lol and gonna a have fun... and put away more food for winter...

  • oooh, canning!! i've never been very good at cooking things, but i've always wanted to can soups and things for winter. maybe one day! :]

    so, sorry i don't have much to add today. i had a VERY, VERY long day. just now getting home and ready to fall asleep after going for 17+ hours nonstop! unfortunately, i don't get to sleep because i came home to find a leak coming into my closet (all over many of my clothes). it's been raining non stop here and my old building can't take it. the apartment upstairs evidently has a leak that hasn't been taken care of by the land lord. it's going to be an interesting night.

    anyway, i did manage to stay under fat and the dumbbell pullovers, so my total is just 15 (for wednesday).

    tomorrow is definitely going to be double-time at the gym to make up for today!! :]

    Thursday --- woodchops done... 120 mins of cardio.. including canning and dancing... lol ... working fun.... sorry over in sodium by guestimation.. Had pizza casserole for dinner ... 2 servins and it put meover by a little in sodium.....

  • hey!! looks like we've all been mia for a bit. how's everyone doing?

    my total for thursday was 70 and my total for friday was only 10. :[

    today, i've already gotten all 10 cups of water in and definitely will be under calories (it's already 4pm and i have over 2,000 to spare!) so my saturday total is 105!!

    Still waiting on a few totals so I can send them in and see how we ranked this week... I've completed the exercise and nutrition challenges every day this week, and I've been averaging about 45 minutes of cardio. Woohoo!!! It feels great!

    saturday .. 8 glasses water not so good on calories....but with exercise i was under by 117 ... so all in all not a bad day !!!

  • hey! hope everyone's doing well. i stepped on the scale today, and after a 2-week plateau, my scale said i was down 3lbs. i haven't logged it though... i've ordered a new scale (because mine gives me 3 completely different numbers every time i step on it) so i'll do my next weigh in whenever that arrives. hopefully i'll be down!! my goal is to lose 5lbs by the end of the month! 10 would be better, but definitely not so healthy!

    anyway, my sunday was:
    cardio: 80 minutes
    nutrition: over in protein, yay.
    exercise: 3 21s. that video was intense... it made my arms hurt just watching it. clearly i did much smaller weights!!
    total: 55

    So i've been meaning to jump on and give an update but then life just got in the way. How was everyones weekend? Mine was pretty boring just filled with study however it doesn't matter how much I do there always seems to be more after Ive finished the day :sad:

    Today I started bootcamp and my biggest loser challenge and man it kicked my *kitten*!! I'm so sore I can hardly move. I might go swimming 2morrow to let the muscles relax a little.

    So a catch up on the challenges
    For thursday - monday I completed the all food and exercise challenges.
    Extra exercise
    Thursday - 120 mins
    Friday - 80 mins
    Sat - rest but drank all water
    Sunday - only 20 mins :cry:
    Monday - 140 mins

    Great job guys!! I've sent our totals to Jen through Saturday. Looks like I'm still missing some numbers for Sunday... once I get those in, they'll be up on the spread sheet... Looks like our newest member, Tiffany, is having some trouble with her back, and has been told not to exercise for now. :-( The rest of us will have to work extra hard until she is cleared from her chiropractor!

    Sounds like everyone is doing great.... Nice working plowing through that plateau!!!! I know how frustrating those can be.

    Anyone tried the cauliflower pizza crust recipe that's been floating around mfp?? I'm trying it tonight for dinner and I'm seriously excited!! I really can't wait. I LOVE pizza!!!!!!!! I'll let you know how it turns out.

  • GOOD NEWS! GOOD NEWS! The chiropractor cleared me to exercise so I can start tomorrow :bigsmile: He told me to take it easy and try to spend more time in the pool this week. I can do that!! I am still planning to get my Zumba fix in tomorrow though...

    I apologize for going MIA, I worked 40 hours Tuesday - Thursday and had weddings Friday and Saturday. Sunday = recovery, haha! This work week still looks pretty hectic but I will try to check in as often as I can. My goal is to make more time for the boards at night since I should actually be home minus Thursday (work 2nd job that night).

    Unfortunately, I have no points today. We made gyros for supper so there went my fat cals. Good Luck this week girls, thanks for all the encouraging thoughts!

    Kat, it was horrible! I must have done something wrong. I cooked it forever, and it just stayed mush! I didn't add the spices it called for, just my own blend of Italian seasoning. The taste was great but I couldn't get the texture right. I ate it with a spoon, because it was just pizza mush.

    I actually looked at 2 different recipes. One said to cook the cauliflower, then put in the food processor. The other said to grate it, and then cook it. I cooked it first this time and maybe that was my problem? I think next time I might try to grate it first. And I used fat free mozzarella, so next time I'll try to see if the higher fat cheese makes a difference. How did you do it that it turned out so good?

    Sorry but it wasnt me that tried the cauliflour pizza crust Haven't been brave enough.. I have however made one with zucchine... my family loved it... When i really want pizzza I have some on a low carb tortilla shell.. makes a large pizza that is crispy and cracker thin. Delish... I thnk it was KJ that has made it..

    Tuesday... 30 mns cardio... leg lifts done... did good on sodium too. Had spahetti with homemade sauce.. Yummy and low cal and low sodiummmm calories not so good.... :sad: feel like I am going backwards instead of forward..
