Oh WOW this week is flying by..yesterday I stress ate getting ready for a big meeting on Firday. since I sell food it was easy for me to grab some kettle chips from the warehouse!! I did log in all my food..came close to opening some wine but didn't!!!
Wish me luck on Friday...I am in food service biz... at my meeting tomorrow we are serving Otis Sunkmeyer cookies muffins, pasta alfredo, 3- different raviolis, egg rolls other pastas as well cheese omelets, pies, fried chicken... Tonight we will be staying overnight and a big group of us are going out to dinner..it's hard for me to pass up free food and wine. I am doing all I can to arrive early and go for a walk.. I think I will pack my jump rope too.
I don't feel like I have lost what I gained last week. But I will work hard to remain focused and not let stress get the best of me. Have a Great Day my Friends !0 -

Sorry that I have been MIA. I have still been plugging away and tried the Burpees eventhough I wansn't able to do them all. It has been busy around here and I missed weigh in. Please forgive me team! I will do better and will be ready for the next weigh in. I have missed the positive energy and yummy recipes. I have been working out hard at the gym and I am doing pretty good with my eating. Have a healthy day everyone.0

Well, I went and bought myself a skipping rope and plan on starting this challenge tomorrow. I used to love skipping rope. The only problem is, I want to do it in private and don't know if I'll be able to do it in the house... my exercising issues, but I'll get over it.
On another note, the last few days have been crazy! I haven't had any time at home... hardly. Yesterday was my 6 year anniversary with my fiance and he got into a car accident. He's ok, but sure was a crazy way to spend our anniversary. Our plans kind of had to shift for it. Now, he's fine, but his car is gone to the scrap yard... which also means that I have to get up and drive him into work in the morning, then come home and get ready for me to go to work... remember to go pick him up... it's crazy!
I just want one night to stay at home! Just one...
Happy Anniversary and I'm so sorry about the craziness that you've been having. Hopefully you get some home time soon! Glad you fiance is ok!0 -
thank you Jen!

In 30DS, you mimic the movements of jumping rope. That's all you need to do. If you don't have a rope, just start jumping like you do0 -

Happy 21st Birthday johanna_elaine!!! Enjoy your day!!0 -
I have to say that I have been slacking big time in working out and doing the challenges...sorry but those burpees almost had me dead on the floor...all I could do to not cry was comment on the dust bunnies under the sofa and entertainment unit. Jumping rope...I never think about that and I LOVE jumping rope...I will be in this one. The $5 I'm in too. Thank you all, each and every one of you...I had just received some promotional things to Carraba's literally less than an hour before I logged on and read your posts. I will now be reconsidering going to Carraba's and what I would be enjoying. Good luck all. I plan to be a good girl and have some weight loss in the next weigh in0

really like the 5 dollar thing gonna kill it this week0
-
WOW I'm gone for a few days and so much has happened!!
Just want to say happy 21st to johanna_elaine!!!! Rock out girl now that your legal!!!
Azeria - Congrats on the anniversary but that sucks about the car accident. However if you look at it on the flip side you are so lucky that your other half walked away without any serious injuries!
Thanks Jen for the awesome chart and the great challenges. I will def be needing new clothes by Christmas and $5 seems very doable. However when it comes to jumping rope, not so doable. . . I hate jumping rope But I will try to overcome my fears for the challenge. It is already Friday morning here so will be starting the challenge very late. Maybe this challenge will have to be combined with the next weeks one just so I can get finished.
Anyway hope everyone has a great day and see you all back here for weigh in over the next few days!0 -
ooops! I had ice cream calling me from the freezer and ate way to much. I usually don't have it in the house for that reason. I did get in jumping and I did 2 wokrouts from wii active afterwards. Tomorrow is another day and on the plus side the ice cream is gone now.0

With the abundance of summer veggies, I've been making a roasted vegetable ratatouille and taking it for lunch for several days. I heat it up and put it on a bed of baby spinach. You can top with cheese if you like, but I have my protein separately because I love the fresh taste of the veggies. It is VERY filling too. There are a lot of recipes out there so I picked what I liked and the veggies can be what you want too. Roasting makes the veggies caramelize and they are so tasty!
Good luck with other ideas. It's tough for sure.0 -
wow, 5 mins of jump rope and I think I was going to die. lol. 25 mins more....oy0
-
What are your options? Hot lunch, sandwiches? Home for lunch?
I go home for lunch so it's easy for me to make something hot or cold and I have an hour so I have the time to put some effort into it! Just looking for some different ideas that I haven't thought of. Usually I make a salad or a homemade pizza on a whole wheat pita.
Also... I've only done 10 minutes of the jumping rope and my calves are KILLING me!!! Great challenge!0 -
Well team I am not doing good this week. At all. Super busy and stressed at work. Also at home with getting my son's stuff ready for him to move in the dorm on Sunday. He is already in Kansas (has been for 3 weeks working out with the football team). And my daughter is in the high school band they practice 3 times a say Monday thru Saturday beginning the 1st week in August, Even though she gets a ride for most . I still have to go pick her up between 8:30 and 9:30 and be back up by 5 to start getting ready for work and then get her up so she can be out the door by 7. I have not eaten well this week at all. Haven't drank enough water and definitely haven't done the challenge because of my knee. i start everyday to get back on track and then once I leave home it all goes to crap.
Thanks for listening.
Will have a busy weekend. Leaving early in the morning for Kansas (from Texas) and will turn around and come back on Sunday night to return to work on Monday morning. What the heck was I thinking? I'm to old to do that kinda trip anymore.
I will also weigh in tomorrow which will be a day early. And after the week of bad eating I have had will be expecting another gain.
Congrats to all for such commimtment of joining this challenge. And once again a great big THANKS to Jenn!!!0 -

Well I am weighing in early because I don't think much will change over the next couple of days. I am 230.8 this morning. I have to get back on track. I am exercising but I need to bump up my cardio. I stopped measuring and it is showing up on the scale. I will be diligent to track this week.
I love thee $5.00 challenge and I will complete the jump rope challenge today. Thanks Jenn for all of your hard work. This is a great team. Have a great day everyone.0 -

I'll submit my weight now since TOM came this morning so the next several days the scale will not be quite so kind!0 -
3 days down on air jump roping = 1/2 way there = 15 minutes down & 15 to go
Monday means starting back to school meetings along with donuts & snacks offered to keep us awake. I need to remove myself from having permission to eat these in my brain in the same way that workers or hosts don't eat the guests' food. I am thinking if I think that way it may be easier to pass by those sweets without taking any. And no skipping breakfast for sure!! I'll get that before I go to the meeting.
Patty9013 - I thought it was ironic that you are bringing your son from Texas to Kansas. We will be taking our daughter from Missouri (right next to KS) down to Texas to attend college. She doesn't go until the end of the month though. The week will be over soon, and you can get back to making all the right choices again. You may want to focus on keeping one thing going (like water) to give you an opportunity to stay on track with something. That helps me to stay tied to my overall goal.0 -
Good Morning CCC Friends and Happy Friday!
Sorry for my lack of posts this week work has been busy! I had a good week this week and still keeping up with the H2O and veggies! I have Worked out everyday this week because I will be out of town this weekend! heading to Augusta, GA - anybody been? Any cool things to do?
About the challenge - I remember being so much better at jumping rope when I was like 10... now not so much! I keep tryping or the rope hits my shoe... after several attempts through wednesday, thursday and Friday I have completed 20 minutes. I plan on finishing tomorrow as Sunday is my day OFF from working out!
I only lost a lb. this week! I guess a little loss is better than no loss!
Hope you all have a great week and will try to check-in through out the weekend!
