AUGUST CHALLENGE #4: INSPIRE AND RETIRE!
Week 4 and FINAL Daily Challenges
Day 1: 2 sets of 20 Windshield Wipers, 3 sets of 21’s, 2 sets of 10 Swimmer’s Press
Day 2: 2 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps, 50 Squat Kicks, 20 Globe Jumps
Day 3: 20 Split Squat Jumps, 3 sets of 20 Wood Chops
Day 4: 40 ZigZag Hops, 3 sets of 21’s, 2 sets of 15 Swimmer’s Press
Day 5: 2 sets of 20 Burpees, 50 Squat Kicks, 20 Globe Jumps
Day 6: 20 Mountain Climbers, 3 Sets of 20 Wood Chops, 3 sets of 20 Tuck Jumps Rest on Sunday (or day of choice)
Monday 8/29 - Final Days make them count! 200 Jumping Jacks, 100 Crunches, 10 burpees, 10 mountain climbers, 10 globe jumps, 10 Squat Kicks, 10 ZigZag Hops! These are a little different. IF YOU ARE ABLE AND YOU ARE! Do these consecutively. No stopping to rest, don’t break these into sets! I’ve designed this so you can see just how far you’ve come. Many of you would never be able to do all of these in one setting on August 1st. BUT YOU’VE Found the inner Beast, You’ve Unleashed you ROCKSTAR and you’ve become an EXERCISE MACHINE. I’m proud of you and you should be VERY proud of yourself!
Tuesday 8/30- Final Days make them count! Walk, Run, Jog a 5K that is 3.2 miles straight no stopping! As fast or as slow as you need to! YOU CAN DO IT I PROMISE! At 447lbs I did it in one hour and 15minutes with 3 hills. You can do this I promise! PUSH YOURSELF AND PROVE TO YOURSELF YOU ARE A WARRIOR!
Wednesday - REST BECAUSE THURSDAY ITS GOING TaaaaaRIBALLLLL!!!!!!!! Weekly Team Challenge 4000 team crunches, 4000 Jumping Jacks and 100 extra miles! This equals about 200 per team for crunches and jumping jacks for the week along with an extra 5 miles for each team member!Mon 8/22 - All exercises done.

I'm confused as to what we are doing "for the team".. Are we doing Miles for the team, crunches for the team, or jumping jacks? I'm pretty sure I looked through the last pages of posts, and didn't see anything that clarified it for us.
********ALSO******** are we doing the food or water challenge this week? It seems some people are posting that they did completed the food challenge.

I dont have TOO much left to lose to help you guys, and I was in it for the exercise challenges and to push myself. If you want to step in as captain next month, send me a message and I can let you know the people who are still interested (other people have stepped down also due to this news). If not, send Gary6030 a message so he can find a September team for you.

Im staying strong for august, I would never abandon you guys. Just not going to have another team later. Like I said, since weight loss is all that matters, I dont even have much to offer. Id be holding you back, and thats something I definitely dont want to do. Do you want to start the September team? I can send you the names of those interested.
I know there are a few of you posting your concerns with Gary. Hopefully he will change his mind on the matter!0 -
I sure do hope he changes his mind. I am in it for the exercise mainly and it seems like this would just be a diet and calorie club kind of thing I'd guess. I emailed Gary and asked him to reconsider.0

Gary6030: So some of you keep whining about needing another WEEKLY MINI CHALLENGE! SO here it is. I"ve done this and its a killer but oh......in such a good way! So you think your ready to go tribal and take on the bushmen way of life.....(Note: This is high intensity interval training if you have heart issues please consult a physician. These exercises are geared to top our your heart rate in 4 minutes flat.) I give you the tabata series..............It's only 4 minutes. LET ME SEE YOU DO THEM WIT YOR GIRLIE MUSCLES AN YOUR CHEERLEADER THIGHS! YA HANS AND FRANZ ARE HERE TO PUMP YOU UP! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DfuU3TSsFM&playnext=1&list=PLA2E34CD9004F5FD9 1 point for each team member that does it for every day they do it. WARNING Do this prior to your workout as a warm up. Don't sit down after this its bad for your heart. Keep moving and if you need to rest do a 2 minute cool down.0

Due to the overwhelming concern about the points system I've decided we will move forward in September using the complete points system as we used in August. Here's the deal......its your responsibility to contact your team captain each week with your information and weight. Captains will not be tracking you down. You dont' report....you hurt your team. We're all adults and I'm counting on each team member to participate.
Our voices have been heard :-). I will message those continuing today.0 -
