Better late than never ... I will try for 50% (coz it is halfway through the month).
I am also counting my normal everyday steps in this challenge. I use my pedometer to count them, the distance and the calories and have worked it out to an average speed of 2500 steps per hour.
So far my month looks like this
13/9 - 15 mins air walker, 5000 steps for the day > 120 mins = 135 mins (255 cals)
14/9 - 15 mins air walker, 5 mins wii fit step, 5000 steps for the day > 120 mins = 140 mins (280 cals)
15/9 - 10 mins air walker, 5 mins wii fit step, 7500 steps for the day > 180 mins = 200 mins (422 cals)
16/9 - 3960 steps for the day > 95 minutes (technically this was my rest day)
17/9 - 30 mins walk (mod intensity) .....
Come Monday we start a four week challenge at work - the 10,000 steps. The idea is to raise your daily activity to 10,000 steps. 10 minutes moderate intensity activity (any) = 1000 steps and 5 mins high intensity activity = 1000 steps.0 -
