:happy:so after the day I started with I figured I would feel better if I got up and started doing things around the house. So, I started in the girls bathroom and cleaned it from top to bottom. I got rid of things that hadn't been used in a while and cleaned off the "art" on the wall on the shower. then I went on to our bathroom and did top to bottom there too. I'm finishing the laundry and then I'm gonna start on the kitchen.
I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and I hope to get 30 day shred in tonight after the girls go to sleep.
The only bad thing about all this is that I have had 2 cups of coffee a breakfast buritto and 2 servings of smiles fries. (if you don't know what those are check out fitness chicks pictures) she has a picture of them they are soooo cute!!

wow,youv'e been a busy bee today....im tired just reading your post if you want....you can come and clean my bathrooms, i wont mind:laugh: but seriously,i cant seem to get off my butt and clean anything today. I did manage a workout:drinker: burned close to 400 cals:drinker: :smokin:

I can totally relate the the coffee thing. I have been on vaca from work so it has been easier but when I get back to business I have made it a goal to hold myself to one cup of coffee a day.
And to think I just picked up a new espresso machine for the Bat Cave :grumble:

This is my first time trying to loose wieght since I got out of the navy almost five years ago. I figured it was time since my hot wife who just gave birth four months ago has already lost here baby wieght, and if I don't start losing wieght see may leave me for a younger man.0

Well tommorow is officially the end of my vacation....back to the grind...10 hour days with a commute that can be as long as 2 hours each way....sigh....This is about to get a bit harder. Prolly gonna have a mountain of stuff to get caught up on...here comes the stress factor.

I know how you feel my oldest used to be a projectile vomiter. we had to go through a ton of different formulas to get her to not vomit and soy was it. but we used to have it all over thank god we had hardwood floors

My scale read 176 on weigh-in day which I submitted to Samantha-- and 175 today. We hosted a ton of people today-- and I probably nibbled a bit too much, but not to fear-- lots of days before Wednesday.0 -
Okay-- so call me a dark child, but I must confess on occasion I'd find myself rooting for the Penguin or King Tut to go ahead and let the Pendulum swing down and chop Batman and Robin in half-- those two always got on my nerves.0

Hey guys, just had to share! I weighed in this morning and I am .8 pounds lighter than I was PRE-Christmas...that means all my Christmas weight is gone, plus almost another whole pound! (and thankfully my ticker rounded the way I wanted it to, and it finally got to MOVE... I never put in my gain because I knew that would send me off the deep end so it's been stuck at 58 pounds for awhile)...
Anyway...I already gave my info to Sam for this week, but next week I should (hopefully) show a BIG loss...yay!
I am going back to work this afternoon for the first time after I was confronted on Wednesday about the situation that wasn't my fault at all...so I am a bit afraid of what is going to happen...but thank you for all the prayers...I appreciate them!

(and thankfully my ticker rounded the way I wanted it to, and it finally got to MOVE... I never put in my gain because I knew that would send me off the deep end so it's been stuck at 58 pounds for awhile)...
Anyway...I already gave my info to Sam for this week, but next week I should (hopefully) show a BIG loss...yay!
I am going back to work this afternoon for the first time after I was confronted on Wednesday about the situation that wasn't my fault at all...so I am a bit afraid of what is going to happen...but thank you for all the prayers...I appreciate them!

I'm going dancing for probably three hours tonight (swing dance lesson with my daughter & son-in-law and then open dance) so I'll get a good workout in ... last time I burned almost 1200 calories in one evening according to dear F6. We're headed down to their house in a little while so I must get off my tushie and get some things done first ...
Everybody ... I wish I could reply to each one this morning but I don't have time! I hope to have some more time to catch up with folks tomorrow ...

I do have a question....what kind of food scales do you guys use? Ive got an old timey one...I want to get a digital one.
The food scale I use is actually a postal scale that I bought at Wal-Mart for about $20 several years ago when I was sending care packages and letters to deployed service members. It got to be a pain to get to the post office and find that my package was a tenth of an ounce larger than I was expecting and have to pay extra postage. So I got this scale to weigh my letters and packages. I'm not sending care packages any more (now ex husband was Army...hurts too much to be sending packages and things right now) so I use it for my food. It has a 3 pound capacity, and it's very exact because it is intended to measure the difference between a one ounce letter that will cost 42 cents to mail and a 1.1 ounce letter that will cost more. I probably wouldn't have bought this scale strictly for food if I had been in the market for a food scale, but I love it and can't imagine using an actual food scale now.0 -

Amelia - I LOVE my digital scale. I think it is a Homedics. The old fashioned dial one I had made me lose my mind trying to count all the little lines so I'm glad I switched to this one!
Laura - Rock on about the weight loss! I'm so excited for you! Also, I'll be praying for your work situation. I hope they figured out it wasn't you & things blow over quickly.
