Tosha, I think it's wise of you to do what you've gotta do to make your life run smoothly. I, too, have those perfectionist tendencies and they can lead to depression when too many things seem imperfect. It's surprising how quickly wanting to get in shape can lead to a 24 hour a day obsession...and that is indeed draining. It sounds to me like you have many other more important things going on right now than calorie counting.

We had my son's 7th birthday party today. It was chaotic & exhausting - - such a busy weekend. I went over calories today, but not as bad as it could have been. Back at it tomorrow. I'm treating myself to a beer tonight to celebrate surviving all of the prep work.
