  • I am really excited about this challenge! I have been on MFP for a couple of months, but stopped being as diligent at tracking my food. I started tracking again last week, and lost several pounds, so I know it works! I am excited about this group, because this is the perfect motivation for sticking to it through the holidays!

    Hi, everyone! First post, first challenge, first 5k (hopefully)! I started really kicking my butt into gear back in April 2011, when I was 180 lbs. Since, I've lost 13 lbs. but need a little renewed motivation to get down to my goal weight of 145 lbs. Can't wait!

    nobody wakes up one day and says "gee, I think I'll gain a bunch of weight so I can feel awful about myself".
    Your weight is simply where you are on the scale today, and that is OK. Yes it will change, but you are OK!!
