    Good morning! Congrats to all the walkers and newcomers! I have a feeling this will be an awesome Challenge. I didn't do a recordable mile on yesterday. I took my niece to the State Fair and boy did I burn some calories. However, I decided not to record the walk as exercise on my exercise tracker. I will be sure to get some miles in tonight. I pray that everyone has a walking good day.

    I got three miles in yesterday with Leslie. Love her, first time doing it and i'm doing it again today.

    angel: i personally enjoy doing the dvd's. I like the fact that they are low impact, gives you a full range of muscle motion and also is a good calorie burn. There are 4 basic steps to her workouts: power walk, side steps, kicks and knee lifts. You can start off with 1 mile, or go to 2, 3, 4 or 5. I started off with the 2 mile workout (which is about 30 minutes of walking) and now like to switch up between 2 and 3 miles. I tried a 5 mile one on Monday and got a crazy calorie burn with that one and it incorporated weights and the stretchy band. Leslie is a joy to workout with in my opinion and I have noticed that I HAVE gone down a few inches all around :D

    I totally agree....I love Leslie Sansone's Walk at Home DVDs :smile:

    I joined a challenge about two years ago where, the goal was to walk 1000 miles in a year. I made the amount.

    I think I should retry it again.

    did a 5 mile leslie today, my first at 5 - i usually do 4, then another 2 on the school run

    Hey everyone! Well I got in sanother 2 miles today and a mile yesterday so total so far is 15 miles. Maybe do another 2 miles this afternoon!

    Great job everyone! I walked today at work on my morning break. It wasn't a complete mile so, I will walk again this evening and updat my ticker at that time.

    Day 7 of October Challenge
    Did WATP 5 miles Advanced Walk - 2 fast miles, 1 mile w/stretchie, 1 w/ab belt, 1 w/hand weights.
    I don't know if any of you in this challenge have this dvd, but this is my favorite WATP. I love that it's 5 miles, and I love using all the boosters. My arms get tired, but I know I'm working everything!
