Finished W1D2. Kinda thought I was going to die towards the end, but felt really good that I got through it. Turns out I covered more distance too, so yay for progress! Good luck finishing the week everyone!0

I just found this site and how ironic I just started The C25K today.. I managed 1.92 miles in 30 minutes. C25K is an awesome program I did it last year and made it to week 6 then stopped. So I'm at it again and happy to have found this site.

Just finished W1D2.... I thought it was harder too.... my legs felt like lead weights.... soooo heavy.... but i did it.
Unfortunately i didn't have my glasses on and I pressed a wrong button on the iphone app and it looked like I didn't do it!!!.... I think I've got it back on track but it doesn't show how far I went or any details.
Felling a bit sore.0 -

 Its a couple of hours after I posted that I did my W1D2 this morning..... and now I feel fantastic!!
I feel like I could go out and do it again..... I won't as my legs are quite sore.... but I might go for another walk this afternoon.
Still can't imagine running for any longer yet.... but I am enjoying it!0 -
Tonite was W1D2 for me and it was tough going. I started strong but by the second jog session my calves started to burn. 3rd and 4th jog sessions I ended up switching back to walking just over halfway through. The last part I got a second wind and a couple of my favorite songs and I ran the entire way. I even did an extra min or so of running during the 5 min cooldown. I still had 10 min to walk the rest of the way home so it didnt matter, I wanted to make up for the time I missed when I stopped running earlier.
May have to search on the internet to find the bpm for some of my songs and make sure I'm picking songs with a fast enough tempo to help my motivation.
I didnt get a chance to run until after 7pm and it was dark. Although there isn't alot of traffic, I was a little apprehensive about running a rural road at night but I took a flash light and the dog leash is retro-reflective. It was actually better because I couldnt look ahead and see how far away it was to the end of the road and there were less cars and other pedestrian traffic. A LOT of people walk and jog on this road all day long. In the dark, no one could see me and my fat butt attempting to run!
Calves are still sore, I'll have my husband rub them a little tonight for me, but overall I'm satisfied with my run. 1.7miles at 17.41 per mile. Definite improvement over my 1st run! The road I go on is 1 mile long. My goal to meet by the end of W2 is to complete the full 2 miles before I finish the 5 min cooldown at the end, then W3 to finish the 2 miles before I get to the cooldown.
My dog Summer seems to enjoy the exercise too!0 -
Great effort Sherri.0

W2D2 Managed to kick my speed up a few notches and still hang in there. Looking forward to the next one!
Jenny-I'm in the Chalean Extreme phase of my hybrid. I figured out I do better on the run if I do it first and then use the other part to stretch me out after.0 -
Finished out week 1 strong! I think controlling my breathing helped a lot today. I start week 2 on Monday. Here's to getting through 90 seconds of jogging!0
-
I had to start over, so I just completed day 1. FANTASTIC! Even though I thought the 3rd stretch in the cycle was going to take me out for the count. BUT I MADE IT!0

Good going everyone!!
Well I ended up doing Zumba yesterday and NOT day 3 I was sooooooooooooooooooooooo sore from my boot camp from my hiney to my heels I didnt figure there would be anyway I could complete it...So I will be doing day 3 today!!! I'm actually very excited to do it out on my own in the fresh air today!!
Who's excited for week2? anyway decided they are going to do week 1 again?0 -
I'm also doing W1D3 today.... weather is finally starting to get very warm so hopefully won't be too hot to run... also going to get the heart rate monitor out and see if I can get that on for it to see how I am really going.
I am also going to weigh in shortly when I get out of bed.... fingers crossed I have lost something (other than my marbles).

Went to a happy hour yesterday after work so I didn't get to do W1D3 and instead did it this morning. Was easy, I'm pretty eager to start next week since Week 1 progressed so well.0
-
Started feeling like crap still havent done w1d3 yet... hopefully I'll be able get it done soon.0

Hope you feel better!0 -
Got 12 hours of sleep last night after a very long, overtime-filled week. Felt great when I got up. Did w1d3 and bumped my running speed up a teeny bit to 6.0. My distance went up slightly to 2.38 miles in the 30 minutes. Sounds like everyone is doing well. Have a great weekend!0

Ok finally finished w1d3....
It was my first one OUTSIDE..i liked it better I think..my feet and shins hurt more but it was easier not to focus on how much longer to run.
I thought I was doing aweful till I got done and it said I ran 3.16 miles in 30 mins LMBO well there is no way so I redid the mileage and come up with just about 2 miles maybe a smig more but heck thats a 15 min mile right? Pretty happy about that!!0 -

Nice! I'm joining in!. Started C25K on the 10th and only found this thread today. I think this coincidence is a sign (or just a coincidence).
Always glad to friend people, so send me an invite if you wish.
Doing week 2 tomorrow. Going great so far. Noticed improvement over the 1st week. The hardest part for me is breathing but I'm hoping it'll get better.0 -

Thanks...your not just saying that right LOL0 -
I'd like to join! I started the program on 10/4; today was my first day of week three, so I'm a little ahead. However, I'm guessing I'll start repeating weeks very soon. I did the first three weeks and started on the fourth week back in the spring before hurting my leg and stopping until just recently. It took me almost four months to get that far. This time has been much easier and I'm actually enjoying it.0

Just started week 2 today! Is it okay if I jump in and join for some support?!0
