    I was invited to a party to meet a blind date. I didn't hit it off with my date, but I did with a late-comer to that party! We've now been married 10 years, and the ditched blind date was kind enough to be a guest at our wedding.

    We had a mutual friend who he told i sounded intresting and he wanted to meet me, so she (the nut job) text me and told me to have nothing to do with him for my sanity and safety :noway: but he'd already managed to add me on fb. Anyways a year and some change later i am very looked after and as sane as i started out :laugh: and oddly enough the "friend" is no longer in our life!

    Online dating site...knew he was the one first time we met. I was widowed in 2008....God blessed me with Ron and I have never been happier.

    Meet at a music store in a mall in 1991 - started dating and got married New Years Eve 1992 - This year will be 19 years with many more to come!

    I met my husband through a mutual friend. They had gone out on a date and she said he wasn't "handsy" enough for her. He knocked me up at the young age of 16 and we've been together since! 26 years next week!

    First met him when I was 14 at the place where my mum worked. Got a job there when I was 16 and he was my supervisor. Been together ever since :-)

    "Swimming in the company pond", so to speak. Hubby and I worked in the same department, and hated each other. We shared an order of nachos w/ jalapenos (we were the only people who wanted jalapenos) at a work happy hour. After a few hrs, everyone else left; they all had kid stuff to deal with. We stayed and watched a hockey game & drank beers.

    That was April 2000. Married May 2003. He is the best part of my day, every day.

    We worked together. For work, we were required to go on for 2 hours, of our own time, on the weekends. We happened to go in at the same time on a Sunday evening, and as I was leaving he asked me if I wanted to go for drinks. I was in jeans, a friend's sweatshirt and my slippers, and hadn't showered in 2 days...and some voice in my head said "yes"...but out loud. lol We went out for drinks and haven't been apart since. Love him madly!

    Back in 1994 I was working 2 jobs, 1 at the hospital by day and the 2nd job was Texaco by night. I had two days off from the gas station and came back to work. I looked out the window while doing shift change and said, who is that boy? The gal (my manager) said, that is Bryan...back off. I looked again and said "I'm gonna marry him someday". So I walked right out there and stood behind him and when he turned around he almost ran me over. Mind you I am exactly a foot shorter than him, we took one look at each other and the rest is history.

    I met my husband at a bar, on my birthday, 5 years ago.
    Yeah, we've been married for 6 years. I know of at least 2 other married couples who met on that same message board. And I met my former roommate there, who is still one of my best friends. (Don't think it's still operating now though.)

    I was in a bad mood and got dragged out to a bar wearing sweatpants and an old tshirt---a friend introduced us that night. We went on a date the next day and have been together ever since <3--getting married in less than 7 months!

    So funny, and awesome unexpected.

    I wasn't so sure after first meeting, but after third meeting, I was hooked.

    My brother met his girlfriend on POF.

    I forgot to add on my original post too that I met my husband in July 2008, moved in Aug 2008, engaged Feb 2009, Married Oct 2009, and we had a baby in June 2010...my 3rd...his first.....

    I was actually pregnant on our wedding day, but didn't know it. My new MIL sent pregnancy tests as a hint she wanted a baby on our honeymoon...I took one AS A JOKE the day we were leaving our honeymoon...and it was POSITIVE!!! Talk about a shock! LMAO

    We meet at a mutual friend's 4th of July BBQ. We both kinda sat there and talked **** about this girl who was trying to have sex with another mutual friend of ours that already had a girlfriend. We both don't like people who try to bang people with significant others.
