    I think it is a matter of preference. I will call my husband my hubby. It is out of love. He actually likes it. I get that you don't like it and I promise I will never call you hubby. Maybe you should tell your wife this if it bothers you so much.

    I also promise never to call you hubby.

    I did check with my fella as to whether he hated it or not. He doesn't. I call him hubby and we're not even married :tongue:

    Woah, not going to read a million pages of this, but I don't like hubby or as they use on the forums "DH" (Darling Husband". It sounds so derogatory :-S

    Oh and for a while I called my husband "the wife" but he didn't like that! :)

    I've never heard anybody refer to their "Hubby" in a non-endearing term in my life! Maybe its by where you are at... because out here its nothing short of loving!
