  just another quick hello---where does the time go (oh yes, it goes to walking dogs   ) I went to another gratitude dinner tonight. Ate healthy but a few too many calories---turkey, stuffing, cornbread, salad, pineapple but stayed away from all the desserts.

 the wind blew all sorts of needles and stuff off the trees and covered the driveway and after i saw my over eighty year old neighbors clearing off their driveways I decided to teach myself how to use the leaf blower and clear off our driveway. I was successful

Happy Sunday!! Chilly and windy...brrrr I did manage to exercise yesterday and hope to do the same today. Also watched what I ate so I am back on track for now.

Barbie, you are one active lady and be careful or Jake will be letting you do all the leaf blowing when he returns. As far as time I am in awe of how fast it goes the older I get. How can it possibly be so close to Thanksgiving and Christmas? :noway:

Phoebe, I too have two packages in the mail but she will really appreciate yours since she can share with the kids. I sent some Christmas candy and books so I hope she gets them before she meets her parents in Spain for Christmas. I think she is just running out of room for food since she has to hide it all in pots and things so the mice don't get it.

Jeri, think positive thoughts about your mom, I am sure if they thought it was an emergency they would have done something sooner. Your celebration is well deserved after your radiation, enjoy and let them do all the cooking. :drinker:

Marie, you are right I will not give up the casino but maybe just less. I am saving a lot of money without going to bingo although I am still spending it at the casino but I like the tables better than bingo.

Chris, I think we have your winds today, thanks for sharing. Great job on the sale, that was a great deal!!

Becky and Maddie, where are you, we miss you!!!

I did talk to my sister yesterday and she is getting so tired of the doctors. She went to her appointment and they made her wait so long she was exhausted. They were to do a second chemo on Tuesday but now they are making her go to her GP because she had bypass surgery about 15 years ago and she is getting a port put in her chest so they have to make sure her heart is okay even though they have done numerous EKG's on her. Even when she had the bypass it wasn't her fault, they were doing an angiogram and they nicked her artery which put her into cardiac arrest. She also lost her peripheral vision in her left eye so she has had her share of problems. She is upset because in delaying the chemo she is afraid her Christmas will be messed up. She is also losing her hair so was going to have her daughter take her to buy a skull hat or sleep turban. I saw some pretty ones on the cancer site so if they didn't go yesterday I will order her a couple today.

    Have a great Sunday!!

    Good morning,
Jeri, If you ever get to Montana for shopping give me a call and we can meet. Some people from Canada come over because Montana has no tax on their shopping. I am hoping your mother feels better.

Sandy, Prayers go out to your sister as not feeling well and waiting to be seen is very exhausting on ones self.

Barbie, we had the same problem from the winds too. Now we have snow on the ground. The trees have snow and frost on
them too, it almost looks like Christmas. All the passes from Mt to Wa have lots of snow and if it stays like this we won't be going to my daughter on Thanksgiving.

Phoebe, you are lucky you are in warm weather, I do not like the cold. You would think I would move to a warmer climate but I love the 4 seasons. I like snow when it's in December, otherwise I like the sun to shine. Where are you going to be for Christmas, on the road? I hope you get to visit with family.

My day today: Well, I couldn't get to sleep last night so I will probably go to bed early tonight. I was thinking of too many things and could not stop. They weren't anything important either. Also, I drank coffee late last night and I think that was the problem.
We got up 6am but church isn't until 10:30 am so I read the paper and ate too much for breakfast. After church I am going to pick up somethings at the store, I have some coupons and more that are double coupons. As you can tell I am into saving money when I can.
When I get home I really have to do some serious sewing and finish some projects for Christmas.

    Have a wonderful day,
    Chris

:flowerforyou: I stayed in bed a little later this morning since I had no place to go in the morning. That meant that our whole walk was in daylight. the dogs like that because I won't take them on the trails in the dark and the trails are where all the birds and the good smells are

:flowerforyou: Sandy, it sounds like your sister has had more than her share of character building challenges.......I hope she knows about the spiritual principle of staying in the moment......I don't gamble at all because I can't bear to part with my money and I know enough about the odds to know that for everyone who wins some money, a bunch of people are losing theirs.......on the few occasions that I go to the casino, I play the penny slot machines one penny at a time and get a lot of entertainment for little or no money.....you're right about the leaf blowing. this morning I thought about offering to blow leaves off my neighbor's driveway just because the leaf blower was so easy to use........I resisted the impulse:laugh:

:flowerforyou: Chris, we don't have snow yet, but in years past it has snowed around Thanksgiving. Last year we had to cancel our plans to drive about an hour and half to have Thanksgiving dinner with friends because of the snow and icy roads. Yesterday I started looking for some shoes/boots to wear in the snow so I can continue my early morning dog walks even when the weather gets wintery.

:flowerforyou: Marie, I think it's your hobbies (including the computer) that keep you so young and active. Keep up the quilting. It looks great.

:flowerforyou: Phoebe, when Jake and I are driving somewhere he likes to put sports on the radio and that's a great time for me to take nap.

:flowerforyou: Jeri, I will be thinking healthy and healing thoughts for your mom.

:flowerforyou: Gayla, how great that Neil likes bowling......hobbies are what give people a zest for life.. are you watching any of the figure skating on TV?

:flowerforyou: After too many events of recreational eating over the last weeks, I'm doing an Isagenix cleanse today....my dog walking and garden puttering are done and now I have indoor projects planned for the rest of the day
ironing, watching TV, reading, napping, playing with pets:bigsmile:

    Hi Sneaker PALS:
Here in Cairo it is evening and it is RAINING. That is so rare that I just had to share the news. It will probably rain only about 10 minutes and that will be it for the YEAR! My mom in Idaho said that yesterday it was snowing so hard that she could not even see the house across the street from her house. BRRRR This is what I love about Egypt. I was out swimming in the outdoor pool for an hour this morning from 5 to 6 am. Great way to start the day. I just had a great day with my class.Hanging out with 8-9 year olds is quite refreshing most of the time. I just love those kids.

Shirley, Sorry to ask but I missed who was getting married. Glad you got to go and hope that you back felt ok the whole night.
    Jackie, enjoy your trip.

Gayla,I AGREE Bowling is fun. ( even though I get a lot of gutters) I kept telling my husband for years we should open up a bowling alley but we never did. Now there are bowling alleys around and someone else is bringin in the cash.:ohwell:

Barbie, I loved your grocery story and just imagined you sitting down to eat a whole chicken... but of course you didn't do that after all. I bet you feel so much better than you did before you lost all that weight. Do your old teacher friends even recognize you now days? or do you ever even see them.

Buzz, have you tried any tasty recipes lately? Love all your cooking tips.:drinker:

Chris, I have made pocket bread before but that was when I lived in the states. it is so cheap to buy over here that I don't waste my time. Plus it is sooooo good when it is fresh out of the oven. ( the bakery oven that is!)

Becky, What have you been doing for fun lately?

Jeri, How is your mom feeling? and You too. Hope all is well in your part of the world.:flowerforyou:

Marie, My mom is making ragtime quilts now. Do you ever make those kinds? they sell pretty goo. I have one that she made me and when it gets cooler I'll pull it out of the cupboard and fight over it with my husband.

Phoebie, Keep on being YOU. I love reading your posts, I always smile no matter what you say to everyone.

Sandy, I went to Youtube and watched your niece sing. she is sure a beautiful girl with a great voice. Thanks for sharing that with us.

Well I think going to bed early would be a wonderful idea and a treat for me. Getting up at 5 every day and working until 5 at night makes for a LONG day and sleep sounds good to me right now.

Have a super Sunday everyone. Phyllis

Our concert Friday Night was amazing; while Klezmer is such fun, after awhile it all sounds the same. This fabulous group of musicians gave us such a varied concert, though. They were from all over the world, and really master musicians. And at the end, there was a huge surprise; an 8 year old girl was introduced, and she sang operatic exerpts and other songs with the voice and aplomb of a professional adult! I'm still in shock at her performance, appearance and everything else about her. I think her name was Biana (or something like that) and I suspect we will be seeing her on TV one of these days, as she has been winning all kinds of competitions here in Florida. And she's simply adorable, as well!

BARBIE, I know just what you mean about that whole delicious chicken! I love the rotisseries and No Cooking! WOW! I guess you all miss Jake  at least a bit  !
GAYLA, you brought back sad memories of my uncle who was killed in the Pacific my a "mistaken" raid by American planes! War is such a dreadful way for human beings to solve anything; it really cheapens life! If only we human beings could learn to communicate!
JACKIE hope your visit to Tewksbury will be just lovely! You can use that change of scenery and relaxation!
SHIRLEY so how was the wedding???? ANd yes, a different restaurant sounds like a good idea. Glad the back is improving.
SANDY, your DH will do fine walking with the boot! Just a bit ungainly, and foot surgery takes patience to heal, but good luck and he will eventually feel much better! ANd the news about your DS is encouraging:flowerforyou: ! Now just take care of yourself and the stress you must have been going through! And you must be so proud of Katie and her volunteerism! Very special!
CHRIS, sounds like you hit the sweater jackpot! And by the way, we succumbed to splitting a hero, also. Called the Thanksgiving Special at out Publix Supermarket. Oh was that good!
MARIE, I can't believe you are not interested in anything other than the quilts! You are a mainstay right here on our forum, and your interests keep the rest of us jiving!
JERI, we'll all keep our fingers crossed for your Mom, and of course hope it's just one of those things we grow with "maturity"! At least you are sounding better, and that's great news! As far as winning, if I were the only one playing, I still couldn't win a thing! Never have, never will. Perhaps it's why I don't play cards!!!
PHOEBE, doll, my head spins trying to keep track of where you are now!!! I picture you driving into CA and the next thing you mention is AK! Amazing to one who has only driven cross country one time! I loved every minute of it, too, but repeating it constantly would wear me out! And you accomplish so many other things, I really admire you!
SANDY, I just saw your new post re: your DS, and our hearts go out to both of you! My DS got some rather nice inexpensive wigs to see her through the aftermath of her chemo, and they looked adorable on her. Of course, they were warm to wear, too!
Hey there, PHYLLIS, sounds like you have adapted beautifully to such a different culture. How long have you been living in Egypt?
Yes I think I added my recipe for Steak Diane (healthier version) to our recipe topics, and I must say, my mouth waters when remembering how delicious pita is in the Middle East! What we get here in the states is too doughty, except for my favorite Greek restaurant, where I think they make their own! thin, crispy soft! Wonderful stuff! And with Tzatziki, pure heaven! Isn't it amazing how rain can become such an event? I was once in Jerusalem around Christmas time and it actually snowed! A rarity!

Well, despite my oatbran high fiber high protein pancakes this morning (I mixed the 2 flour mixes together and they were fabulous) I think I'd like something for late lunch, so have a great finish to the weekend everyone.

  • Buzz, your little girl wonder probably already has videos on youtube. If you get her name, we can look for her.

Phyllis, I googled ragtime quilts, oh they sound like a fun project. If anyone knows of projects where there are no straight lines, let me know. I cannot do anything with straight lines, especially hems! I make such a mess, , my log cabin squares, if the mice havent eaten them, look like they were made from a very crooked pattern! Maybe I should let the mice have them and start over!

Buzz, not Alaska, but Arizona. I would love to go to Alaska, especially if they send us in the truck, less expensive for us.

We found out this morning that our boss has had a heart attack and he is hospitalized. I think he is stable for now. One year ago he had a kidney transplant and has struggled with rejection, including fluid retention.

We are supposed to get reloaded today, and then head for TN. Hope you are all up on your state abbreviations!

Barbie, you are funny, with your leaf blower. In a rest area in AZ. Yesterday, it was so windy, leaves were swirling in the air, and there were two employees using leaf blowers to make busy work for themselves. Lol, it was not very productive for them or the le
We will be home at Christmastime but not Thanksgiving.

Sandy, I remember how tired my late MIL would be after her treatments, and yes, they had her go to several different doctors too. Always getting assurance before they do anything, but with the patients best interest at heart. After her treatments, we wanted to take her out for lunch, but we often went thru a drive thru instead. Then she could rest on the drive home. Eventually, it was her heart that led to her death got to go

Phoebe, her name may have been Brianna, or Bianna or something similar. I haven't the vaguest idea how to look up anything on YouTube, since my son always sends a link to his entries. Too easy!
Also, I thought you mentioned Arkansas, which is ????? I can barely figure out your travels, but it was where you hoped to see your nephew??? And that's just before Tennessee, isn't it...on your return trip? I get easily confused, love!

    Good morning all.

It is now Monday and I am getting back to logging. I always neglect to do this over the weekend. Mainly because I do so bad. I hope that everyone had a great two days. If all goes as planned, I will be working only four days this week. I have asked for Friday off. This way I can drive my daughter to school since she has to be there early this Friday. Her class is traveling to Columbus to see some ice scaulpturing. That probably isn't spelled right. In fact, I know it isn't.

 SwissMiss: Trying to post on the weekends is difficult for me too. Too much going on and
I have an active husband who doesn't let the grass where he walks. I am
the older one and always trying to keep up.
 Sandy: Your sister should has a lot to deal with. I hope some good news comes her
way soon. We think we have problems until we hear what other people go through.
 Chris: You say you lived in Montana? One of our attorney's here in the office goes hunting
on horseback every year in Montana.
 Buzz: Your concert sounds like fun.
 Phoebe: You mentioned you liked football. Our team here in Buffalo (The Buffalo Bills) were
doing great but not so much anymore. They lost 44 to 7 yesterday.

 Jackie: Hi from Canada !!

Our wedding was good but I did want to dance more than I did. Dave and I had two slow dances all night.
The music catered to the younger people and the DJ didn't have variety of music for us older folks.
Anyway, the bride was beautiful and the food was great. They had Prime Rib, veges, garlic mashed potatoes,
pasta, bread and dessert. The cake was a cupcake cake. The top of the cake was a small cake which they
cut and the rest was cupcakes in the color theme of the bridesmaids.

My back is doing better. Still trying to get it back to where it was. My exercising has been limited but still
doing something everyday. My eating has been horrible and I need to get back at it.

BECKY, I think you meant JOGGING???
SHIRLEY, sounds like the wedding was terrific. Nice to have good things to attend.
Finally got back to our Fitness Center, so I'd better log it! I almost forgot. Hoping to get to a new Greek restaurant tonight and try their lamb chops. So far, I haven;t even showered again! So lazy, so late, though I had to wash the kitchen floor twice, darn it. DH is getting sloppy in his maturity! Ugh...

Happy Monday!! I went to see my sister today for a couple of hours before her doctor's appointment. She was in good spirits but oh so thin, I think she must weigh 100 pounds, also her hair is kind of patchy but at least she was sitting up talking to me in her chair. She is going to one doctor today to get the approval for the port to be put in Thursday and hopes they can do chemo on Thursday also. She is not looking forward to it, but is still fighting hard. One of her neighbors came while I was there and brought her a prayer shawl, that brought her to tears and my chance to give her a big hug. As the ladies made the shawl they pray and they enclose a card saying she should wrap it around her shoulders with all the prayers of the ladies. It was very moving and made my sister so happy. I will find out later in the week whether she wants me to sit with her through chemo although I think she prefers not. I am just glad I was able to see her in her home and hope for many more visits.

I did not get a chance to exercise and maybe will try later but right now I am tired and think I will take a nap.

    Have a good day.
    Sandy
  • Sandy, so glad you had a good visit with your sister. Does she already have one of those heated throws? It would make a good gift for her. If she has a favorite chair, a warm but light weight blanket would be a good gift for her.

    Have a good night everyone.

:flowerforyou: Sandy, my heart  goes out to you. I had a very sick sister also.

:flowerforyou: buzz, I went back over a few of the posts. I am not sure what you meant by saying that I meant jogging.

:flowerforyou: Marie, I think that you have hit on something. If we think about getting stronger and leaner while exercising then we will. The mind does have a lot of control over us.

I didn't get to my strength class last night. Parent-teacher conference was scheduled for 5 so that I could make my 5:30 class. Well, didn't get in to talk to the teacher until 5:30.

 Marie: Love the quilt it is just beautiful. I have a quilt my husband's grandmother made
and I just love it. I keep it on top of the bed in my daughter's room. She also used to crochet lace
doilies too. Not too many women do this kind of work anymore.

 Barbie: Glad to hear Jake has returned safe and sound.

 Becky: Don't worry about missing your class you will get another crack at it. Strength training
    is great for the body.

 Sandy: I hope your sister goes through chemo okay. She will need your strength to help her
get through it. I love the idea of a prayer shawl and I hope she gets all the vibes from above to help her
    through this ordeal.

My back is doing better and my next appt. at the chiropractor is Wednesday plus I have dentist appt. too. :ohwell:
So I get a late start on cleaning the house. I started my Wii Fit Plus Yoga last night and need to continue
since I didn't use it since last winter.

    Have great day Sneakers.

:flowerforyou: Shirley, lucky lady !!! I would love to have a Wii Fit. I wonder, though, if I would use it. Probably not as I seem to need other people around to encourage men.

:flowerforyou: Marie, I saw the biggest chicken breasts ever on Foodnetwork last night. I wondered how big the entire chicken was.

I have a Yoga class here at work at 5:00. My first one ever. Looking forward to it. Then, I will go to Zumba at 7:30.

    HI SNEAKER PALS,
BUZZ_ I have lived in Egypt for over 20 years! I feel pretty much like it is home for me. Some days I feel like I live on another planet but other days it is just a normal day like any of you live. The for sure thing is I work myself to death every day at school and come home exhausted and ready to just sit and relax at night. The hardest thing about living over here is that I get some good friends that come with their husbands to work and after a few years they move on so my heart is constantly getting ripped out. I hate saying good bye. I do get back to the states every summer. I miss my family and friends that live in America too and miss holidays, especially Christmas.

MARIE - Lovely ragtime quilt. I have never seen one so beautiful. The ones that my mom makes are always made of flannel and when you sew them together and then trim and throw in the washing machine they really fluff out so nice and are the best to cuddle up with on a cold evening.

SANDY_ My sister went through chemo for a while, lost her hair, felt weak and all the rest. Had Breast Cancer . Had her breast removed but survived it all. She even had a blast wearing all kinds of wigs to cover up her bald head. She had such a positive attitude we all kind of wished we had cancer too. She made it seem so exciting. She loved all the nurses and I guess they had a good time with her every time she would go in for a treatment. My sisters in the states went with her to have the treatments. I felt bad i was so far away and had to just support her via e-mail. Be grateful that you are there to be with her. I am sure she loves having you around.

SHIRLEY_ I'd like to get a wii some day. It must be fun to do the exercises with the wii. They sure seem to have a lot of games and activities that you can use with it. Maybe some day I can get one and bring it back.

BARBIE_ Nice surprise to have Jake back home. Glad you and the pets are enjoying him.

BECKY _ what ages are your kids. did you enjoy the parent conferences. I have mine next week. Some parents are a joy to visit with.. others. ...well..... are not. I am sure it would be great to visit with you.

O.k. had a bad migraine today. Could have had something to do with the long faculty meeting after school. We have way too many meetings at our school. Need more time to plan... and teach. My kids were so good today. We are learning about bones in the human body and they kids love science. Oh to be so curious and eager to learn like the little ones. so much energy too.
I did swim for one hour from5 to 6 and that gets me up and going every day. but I am way tired at night when it is finally time for bed. I sleep really good most nights. Bye Sneakers. Love ya all Phyllis

Just dropping in to say hi. Still maintaining my weight, exercising and tracking every day. I have my WI Fit Plus set up and WHAT A WAKE UP CALL!:noway: One day they said my WI Fit Age was 40…to my delight and the next time 75!!! I had no idea how poorly my balancing skills are!:noway: I try to do the games to help me improve but I find it hard to figure out what I’m supposed to do!:embarassed: But I keep trying….and laughing. My little Mii Wi cracks me up! When I do well she’s jumping and happy but when I don’t do well she’s stooped over looking defeated  . I tried to do an exercise to tone my abs and couldn’t even budge! They said to lie on the floor on your back and pull yourself up to a certain position. I was useless:embarassed: and had to roll over on all fours to get up THAT way! WOW it’s amazing what you CAN’T do when you try!!! It does encourage me to do more of the beginner’s moves…… and every journey starts with the first step….like losing the weight.:flowerforyou: Now I’m on another journey and feel like I’m back at square one with fitness (even though I do 70 minutes of the treadmill every day!)
    Sending greetings to all!!!

Happy Tuesday!! Our weather is beautiful today with temps near 60, I even opened the doors for some fresh air.
I keep saying I am getting back on track and then the day is over and I did no exercise. With all the talk of the Wii Fit I think I will try a few of the exercises to see if having fun might encourage me. I am holding my weight but the more I exercise the less I hurt. :ohwell:

My sister went to the doctor yesterday to get the OK for her chemo but the GP did an EKG and said he wants her to see the heart doctor. She has been in and out of the hospital with good EKG's so she is not pleased with this doctor. She has an appointment today with the heart doctor and said he wanted her to do a stress test but she is of course to weak, but thinks they will do the one with the dye and she won't have to do the treadmill. She did ask her doctor (who she hates by the way) what happens if she have the port put in, what will they do about the chemo and he told her they would probably do it with a regular IV. I told her if she hates her GP that much she should change doctors so I hope she considers doing so. I will call her later to see what the heart doctor tells her.

My hubby goes in for his foot surgery tomorrow, he went today to the oral surgeon to see how the sore in his mouth is doing and he told him he thinks it is finally healing which is good because he would have had to have a deeper biopsy if not. Sure would be nice if everyone was healthy wouldn't it?

Have a great day, I am going to work on some DVDs to calm my stress.

  • Becky, I think Buzz mistook logging for jogging but it really was logging. Does that make any sense? Lol
hi Birdie! I have wii fit but I want wii fit plus. Do I have to buy the whole fit platform or just software?
Phyllis, I would like to swim every morning. Sorry you have migraines. The dry weather would annoy me. Your moms flannel quilts sound wonderful! Right up my alley!
we are heading for TN. May or may not go home this week.
Shirley, glad your back is improving. I miss my chiro. When we dont get in each week.
Hi Marie, hope you are taking it easy on this warmer than normal day, it feels great in Oklahoma!
Barbie, I read on healthcommunities.com that people who walk their pets are almost always able to meet the fitness recommendations for exercise daily. Or something like that!
ha@ Bernie, he's got to express his opinion of Jake's dissappearance.
  • Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Finished sewing down binding on 12th turkey placemat on Sunday  Now I need to add the beaks & wattles and french knots for eyes. Crazy busy week coming up, 15 people for dinner this Sunday. We leave on Friday to go to a basketball tournament & don't get back until Saturday night so I'm getting everything I can possible get ready done before we go. I'll get up early & bake pies and my Czech poppy seed bread Sunday morning. Gotta "waddle" back to the "wattles" Will try to catch up with you all next week.

    Good evening Seniors

Shirley, Yes I do live in Montana and it seems everyone is here hunting. My son already got his deer and now he is hunting for Elk. Who does your friend go to for hunting on horseback? My friend guides people on horseback hunting.

It sounds like everyone is trying to schedule more exercise, me too. I walk 30 mins a day and do a little strength exercises but I really need to do more. I am at a standstill with my weight again. I think I am not going to think about it so much and maybe I am stressing about it too much.

Today my day went like this:
We met our son for coffee and went to the casino and I won $100.00, I shared it with my hubby and son. Then we had a meeting about financial things and then went to lunch and had a lg bowl of tomatoe/sausage soup. We came home and a friend stopped over, I watched Dr Oz, made chicken yummy burgers for dinner and I did not exercise today. I am taking the day off of exercise. My back and knees are feeling pretty good these last couple of days, no pain meds either. Praise God.

Tomorrow we only have Senior Citizens Luncheon and for sure I will exercise.

Almost forgot, when we got home there were 2 does and 1 buck deer in our back yard, we watched them for about 10 minutes and they moved to another house. I love all the nature around here.
    Take care,
    Chris:happy:

Enjoyed reading all the posts though Sandy's problems with DS & DH are worrisome. Good luck to all of your family, Sandy!
Phoebe, of course you were right; I did indeed think Becky had hit the wrong key, because I never knew a lady who logged! Quite impressive! Just as you are the second truck driver I knew who was a female, the first being my DD when she hitched cross country back in the days when one's life was not in danger hitching! In fact, as a youngster (late teens or so), I used to hitch out to the end of Cape Cod (Provincetown) which was such fun back then!
I went shoe shopping today, which I hate, having feet that are A at the toes, AAAA at the heels, and high insteps! But my Birkenstocks are no longer comfortable as I developed a bony protrusuin along the outside of my left foot. So I probably had a belligerent expression as I entered a "comfort" shoe store, and stated I wanted shoes that were not ugly old ladies shoes!...Not the best way to start with a shoe sales lady! Thank goodness DH was reading out in the car! After discarding about 8 pair of too wide shoes, ugly shoes, bronze shoes, you name it shoes,...the lady brought out 4 pair of shoes that fitted, looked decent, were comfortable and I grabbed them all. I hope I don't regret it! The gal was so relieved, she threw in a black evening bag as a gift!
Now I've got to run, as DH has the new Netflix waiting for my presence! So have a good evening, y'all.
