Names off the top of my head (of people I have actually known):

    America
    Liberty
    Adidas
    Evan Evans
    Precious
    Paradice
    Raynebo

And, my name is Angelia, but the i is silent, so it's pronounced Angela. Never could find anything with my name on it...

I worked with someone called Wellington Heung. Everyone called him 'Well Hung' behind his back!

I find generally, in the UK, it seems to be only the famous who give their kids odd names. But when I was in Canada, I came across a few names that made me do a double take. One I felt really bad for was a teenage girl called Candida. Oh, and a chap called Randy **** - although fortunately for him, in Canada 'randy' doesn't mean what it does in the UK!

Uggghhhhh..... I'm sure we've all heard these "names" before: Abcde, Orangello/Lemongello, La-a (LaDasha), Ladynasty, ****head, etc. *Eye roll* C'mon people, we all know you don't actually know of anyone with these names! "Oh, my aunt's cousin's teacher had a kid in her class named [insert any of the above]." Yeah right.

I can't personally vouch for the other names but I actually taught a Ladashia once. Except her name was spelled L-ia. I'm a substitute teacher and I always tell the kids before I take attendence to not get upset if I don't pronounce their names right, just tell me how to say it so I'll know for next time. I called out this little girl's name as Leeah, and she actually got upset because I didn't say it right. She screamed out at me 'The dash is NOT silent!'.
  • A friend to my best friend, named her son... wait for it.... Lucifer. To make matters worse, and to totally give the kid a complex... they call him "Lucy" for short!

I work with the public-we had one client that had 9 kids and they were named after "a place she plans to visit someday"

    Africa
    Asia
    Rome
    Sicily
    Europe
    Cuba
    Sydney
    Paris
    London

Oh god, that lady should have taped a map of the world on her ceiling 9 kids ago then at least she could be consistent naming her kids after countries rather than intermingling in continents.

Ummm, only one of her children is named after a country. Maybe you need a map ;) lol

My middle school principal's name was Jack Cox. Middle schoolers had a ball with that one.

It was rumored that his middle name was "Harry", though for his sake I really hope it wasn't.

Went to college with a girl named Fancy, but I think it's adorable.

Have a cousin who named her daughter Lilly LuLu Blue - yes. :noway:

We have a Drew (girl), Kylar (girl), and Kainen (boy) - I think they're all unique (hopefully the only ones with their names in their classes), but not difficult or overly strange. Love our name choices!

My daughter's name became VERY popular shortly after she was born

I think I have a generic name, Shanna but no one pronounces it right....I have to tell them it's Anna with a SH. NOT shawna, shana, or I even get Jenna....wtf???

Now if I ever have a boy someday I'd be guilty of wanting to name him Wyatt James (Wyatt Earp + jesse James) I love westerns hahaha
Gunner is another name I like or Meric

Ummm, I went to my little sisters "Citizen of the Month" ceremony today and there were so many names the teacher messed up on. Hell, I couldn't imagine spelling the majority of them, much less pronouncing them. lol.

My sister in law is pregnant (their last name is Mitchell), I told her she should name him Mitchell Mitchell. Lmao.

I can't really talk though, if I ever had a girl I'd name her Sailyr Quinn.

    Yeah, I'm ate up.

My name is Karissa, but nobody can ever get that right. I've even been called Clarice. I don't know HOW!

One of my favorite parts of my job when I worked taking to-go orders at IHOP was taking people's names over the phone and then seeing if the name they gave for the order matched the name on the credit card. Once a lady gave me the name "Unique", and sure enough, that was the name on her credit card! I've also seen Diamond.

Yea, Michael Jackson was a great artist, but I just didn't understand that name.

Blanket is just a nickname, his real name is Prince Michael II.

I have actually always wished I had a unique name. Though these kids named after Jell-o... not quite the direction I was thinking!!
Mine is Melissa and I went to school with at least 2 or 3 other Melissa's in my class at all times. There were so many of us, we had to go by "Melissa D.", "Melissa W." etc. BORING!

Thing is, my mom's name is Treasure and I always thought that was awesome to have such a unique name.
