Well, that sucks. Good luck with the search.

We found the work that had been in a bag that was stolen so success!! I should really bring my skates in I wouldn't want those to get stolen.2 -
Hey cool kids,
I have a terrible head / chest cold, but I still got some workouts in on the weekend. Did my strength training on Saturday - back & core. I was hoping to also run, but the cold left me on my *kitten* for the rest of the day. Sunday, I tried to run - it was more a walk / slow run, but then got on my bike and cycled a nice 20+km in an hour. So, almost 2 hours of workout for me on Sunday. It wasn't pretty, but I'll take it!1 -
Happy Monday kids. Took Barre yesterday and Inferno today. gam3rguy, good deal on the medals. I hope the dots to the eyes are not part of the medal collection. TMAC love the sneakers. Have a great day kids.0

Had a marvelous Sunday....best day I can remember in a long time. Got up kinda early....lazed on my deck in the warming summer air. Went to the Street Performer's Festival for a bit. Rested at home for the afternoon. And hit the sheets early for a luxurious zzzzzzz.
BOOM!
Today, back to work, fitness routine and eating plan. Shedding weight at the rate of 0.5 lb/ wk takes effort and consistency. I GOT THIS!2 -
Ugh, Monday after vacation is the WORST kind of Monday!
Had a good trip - I got in two runs on the beach while we were there, and I think I did a reasonable amount of strength training what with the lifting and dragging of coolers and beach canopy. And we rented a stand-up paddleboard on the last day we were there, and I ROCKED it! That was super fun and a pretty good workout - my arms and core were feeling it the next day.
Back to the grind, now...2 -
Enjoyed a very hot and sweaty 4-mile run with 8 100m pick-ups followed by 21DFX Plyo Fix Extreme. I have just enough time for a cup of tea before work.
Make today your Masterpiece!2 -
When you try two lame *kitten* cardio videos and can't do burpees because of a sore wrist you say *kitten* it and grab your ear phones and do an easy interval Run. It's been awhile because of my stupid heel problem so it was hard but man it felt good to sweat3

After getting out of the hospital I've been on a couple of antibiotics to knock out there intestinal infection. I've just finished those. This has made me much weaker than I thought it would. Now to start rebuilding.0

I was all set to go skate tonight but there was a malfunction at the rink overnight and the ice looks like a giant puddle right now.0

Had a great 3 mile run last night. My pace is getting better.3

@allenpriest....hoping you're finally on the road to recovery.
I haven't been focused during the last few weeks as I nursed a tender hip and enjoyed some family time at the beach.
The training effort returns to normal this week. I'm beginning an eight week build to the Lake Placid race in early September. Started with an easy bike session yesterday and will hit the track later today for a ladder workout in fairly humid conditions.
Its July, Kids...sweat happens....stay cool.

Hey kids, Allen Priest, I hope you have a speedy recovery. Same for you Djproulx. I had an interesting workout this morning. I took a quickie TRX class, 30 minutes spin and then 45 minute inferno. So many variations and now I am starving to the high hills AGAIN. What can I say; I bore easily. Did someone say cake and wine? Have a great day kids.1

I've been banned from running by my physio guy for "awhile". Seems I have screwed up feet and ankles. He reluctantly agreed to let me skate (because he knows me and knows I won't obey if he says no skating). Sad cat today so I'm going to go cut grass and lay by the pool0

Hi cool kids. Got another run in yesterday. Still battling this brutal cold - we are not on day 8. I just saw the doc and he said it can last up to 6 weeks! Oh lawd. I certainly hope not.
Attended a funeral today of a friend of mine. It was a tough one. She was such an incredible woman - dearly loved by so many in this community. She certainly has left her mark. She had a rare type of cancer and was gone within 2 years of diagnosis. She wanted to live to see her daughter graduate high school and she did. Her daughter graduated the end of June, and she quietly passed away July 7.
Anyway, just another reminder that we are not guaranteed a tomorrow, so make the best of today.

Ok so for the past 2 weeks I was supposed to do a mini cut BUT I was incredibly bad and didnt work out and didnt eat properly. In my defense I had to go away for work and then I was sick.
I'm still not feeling 100% BUT I'm back at it and almost back to my proper weight lol
Ready to restart recomp next week.3 -

Had a rough day yesterday. I still have this terrible cold (am feeling better today, but still not 100%). Attended a funeral of a friend of mine. She died way too young (49). It was a hard funeral to attend. I did go to the gym, and did about 20 min of legs. I was exhausted, so I left. Today, I feel better, stronger, more emotionally stable. It's amazing what a good night's sleep will do.7

I'm going to run a half marathon in October. Now I will stay focused on fitness4
-
Yesterday was water Zumba and swimming laps. Today, I ran 10 miles with 2 miles at Tempo and a 1 minute recovery in between. Since yesterday was also filled with too many bourbons and bad choice, that hurt! I did it. It wasn't pretty, but I did it.
@ftmfrank73 Good luck on your half! I'll be running my first half in November! Signing up for a race is VERY motivating!2
