I try to work out every day for an hour....
Mostly focus on weights/strength training..crunches..push ups etc (at home w equipment)
as far as cardio, I try to go for a walk or bike with the kids for at least 30min a day...doesn't count errands, shopping ....try to park far away when i go shopping to get in as many steps as possible
Posting the week's workout schedule for accountability.
Monday - lifting AM (squat day) - yoga PM
Tuesday - circuit training - AM
Wednesday - lifting AM (deadlift day)
Thursday - circuit training - AM - yoga PM
Friday - lifting AM (bench day)
Saturday - cardio - 60 minutes minimum hiking/walking
Sunday - rest day
Done. Made every workout except the Thursday yoga class - went wade fishing instead, so still got some exercise.
Do it again this week.
Monday - lifting AM (squat day) - yoga PM

Decided to take a last minute road trip - so I doubled up Friday. Got everything done in five days - then got a short walk in the woods yesterday as a bonus. Rest today and start over again.2 -

Well, Canada Day weekend always brings LOTs of celebrating. And so, I did. I indulged and celebrated. I also walked TONS each of Saturday, Sunday and Monday and I also lifted on Saturday, Monday and today (Tuesday).
So, exercise-wise, I am right on track. I am going to make sure that I only eat proteins and veggies for the next six weeks - a SURPRISE 25 year reunion showed up in my inbox!!! Yikes.2 -

I had a week of travel, attending WSBK races, working for my sponsor and then a few days traveling for my real job. I was very bad the entire time and did nothing to control myself or choose anything - well, wisely. Undid the previous progress from the rest of June and back to where I was when the month started.
Oh well, I had fun.1-2 pounds on the scale isn't going to ruin the memories.5 -
I started LOGGING my food, again, today! So, THAT is a "win". I have to keep up this good habit.
I also am on a 2-day streak of "no late night snacking".

Just returned from a weekend training camp at Mont Tremblant. Its a beautiful place. We swam in the lake, rode the entire bike course and ran sections of the run course over the weekend. Counting down the 41 days to race day. Here are a couple pics:

"Insanity Max: 30 um..."Wednesday" Fight: Round 2”=DONE! yea...that's technically "MAX: 30"=Done! my inner "OCPD voice" says Cardio Challenge is still on the calendar..."we HAVE to do it"...LOL! there will be plenty of cardio on Saturday. I'm thinking "two days of laying on the couch playin Nintendo!" and tubing on Friday!!!

Hello!
Just turned 40 this year. So far I've lost 34 pounds, gone down 2 sizes and feel great. I am already 9 pounds below my initial goal weight....but for me it's more important how I look and feel. My new goals are to bring my fat % down, and then add some weight back in lean muscle. The cutting for me was easy, let's see how adding muscle is at 40! 😬😬1 -

Today I woke up too early, but still managed to make it to the gym for my cardio class. Have sat through one of my son’s baseball games (they were mercied out by the women’s team!) and will sit through the second one tonight.
Oh, and it is a whopping 12C out. Sucky.1 -

Made it to the gym to play badminton with Jackson, yesterday. And, today I am going to go for a walk outside, after work.
I am re-committing to eliminating night-time snacking. It is adding NO quality to my life!3 -

Back from Montreal - what a great city. Too much fun and too much wine! Back to being good.
Already shed a few of the vacation pounds. Thank goodness.2
