How can I add oatmeal to my diet when I hate it?

Can't stand cooked oatmeal either. So, I eat it uncooked -- like cereal. Add some cinnamon and Splenda along with some milk. Works for me.
do you do this because you think oatmeal is some kind of nutritional wonder food? why on earth do you eat something that you can't stand to the point that you have to add artifical splenda to it? I really dont get why people feel compelled to eat oatmeal.
is it the brain washing effect of the marketing of grains? I dont get it .0
