The Exorcist. Great, now I won't sleep tonight just cause I thought of it.
  • ^ I totally saw that cover and said Candyman 5 times just because I could. Hahhaah... my friend jumped out and attacked me though. :P

The Human Centipede was not quite as scary as it was disturbing... but the entire concept was just insane. That movie was messed up.

The Haunting. Not that nineties Liam Neeson travesty, but the old 1963 original version with Claire Bloom and Julie Harris. It's still scary today, showed it to a younger relative who didn't think it would be scary because it's an old black and white film. She told me later it really freaked her out hehee.

I don't watch many scary movies because they scare the bajeebus out of me.
My top three (people think I'm ridiculous).

*Jeepers Creepers. I still get real scared to read number plates when I'm driving alone. Also, get really scared that the Jeepers dude will be able to smell that I'm scared, and eat me..

*The Ring. I was at a sleepover in the 10th grade and we rented it. One of my friends decided it would be hilarious to call at the end of the movie. I've got past the 'seven days' (even seven years) thing -but I still freak out that my face might turn out all swirly sometimes..

*I Know What You Did Last Summer. There are nights I get really freaked out that there may be someone hiding in my closet, ready to cut off my hair..

    EDIT: typo &thisss:
JEEPERS CREEPERS! THE 1ST ONE! THAT THING IS FRIGGIN UGLY!

Glad to know I"m not alone! :embarassed:
  • no movie that I can think of now, but the TV show "Unsolved Mysteries" used ti scared the scrap out of me.

    The Others
  • All of them. I am a big wuss when it comes to scary movies. I always have been, but I think it has gotten worse since I've gotten older.

This^^ But it was the grudge that started it off. I watched it in London with my husband. The next morning I was taking a shower (washing my hair) and felt like something was looking at me... I shrugged it off, but then caught a glimps of something reflected in the chrome shower corner. I turned around to find my husband just quietly standing there!!! I screamed like a typical chick and my knees turned to jelly causing me to collapse, before I registered it was just my husband!...I've been a scaredy cat ever since!!! LOL

    The Haunting of Julia
Older movie from the 70's I think.
It's disturbing because it takes you from sad to scared really well! Hard to explain.

    The Ring
    The Grudge
    Shutter

Those are the only horror movies that cause me to have to sleep with the lights on, and have to have hubby cuddling me... LOL No idea why I even watch them anymore anyways, I've seen them all like 100 times. XD I am a huge horror movie fan though, I've got about 50 titles on my shelf so far... Still collecting.

i thought the others was a really good scary movie...it doesn't have the cheap shots where they just give you a quick scare out of the quiet

That movie freaks me out, because it could actually happen!

None of them really scare me...I watch a LOT of horror movies and none have "scared" me...in fact the only one to make me scream is The Descent. Great movie. It doesn't really "scare" so much as "startle".

However when I was little (like 8?) I saw Poltergeist and nearly crapped my pants...
