Yours is the one with the long line.0 -
shes beautiful! thats my ideal body! you're soooo right though Id rather have curves.0

Those are the kind of curves I'm trying to upgrade to. My old curves were too lumpy. :-)
LOL!! Same here!
I think that Jessica Biel is a great inspiration. I also appreciate Beyonce and Halle Berry's curves. They are beautiful and very womanly.0 -

Some of the best women I've met have been very thin w/ no boobs.
It didn't make me any less attracted to them.
Personality + attitude + health > breast size IMO
I need someone who can keep up with me at the gym. Not at the buffet line.0 -
I agree!
I hate ad campaigns that celebrate "real women" but still show unhealthy, obese women. Dove soap comes to mind.
I don't know that I would consider any one of the women on the Dove commercials "obese." They're probably more at the higher end of their BMI.
I particularly enjoy the Dove ads and think they're beautiful.0 -
Some "real women" are naturally too slender to have any curves, and can't put on weight no matter what they do.
Some "real women" are at healthy weights but carry the fat they do have around their middles, removing any chance of an "hour glass" figure.
Some "real women" have very small hip-to-waist ratios, and no amount of exercise will widen their hips.
Real women are whatever shape their body ends up being when they're taking proper care of themselves. Anyone who tries to define what they ought to be is no better than a magazine advocating emaciation or a porn rag pushing plastic.0 -
ok so when will women just embrace who they are as an individual.. a woman is a woman is a woman.. big boobs, small boobs, lots of booty or none.
I am thin on top and curvy on bottom so what am I only half a woman!?! I'm talking Large bikini bottom and extra small top :-)
this whole "real women have curves" thing is no better than women trying to depict stick thin magazine models... women need to stop trying to aim for what society deems correct and start loving themselves for who they areLive life for yourself.. if you want to get thinner do it for you..if you want to be busty and have some junk in the trunk do it for you
I won't call you less of a woman for the choice you make :flowerforyou:

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". I heard someone said that.0

I put a saying on my signature on another group I'm on--it reads
A WOMAN ISN'T MEASURED BY HER WEIGHT, SHE IS MEASURED BY HER STRENGTH.0 -
I agree it's probably not uber-constructive to say "Real women have [X]" because we're all different, and that's kinda awesome. Variety is the spice of life. It's a cliche bc there's so much truth to it.
To me, Beyonce is a far better example of "curvy" than Jessica Biel, but both have gorgeous bodies and seem healthy.
I consider myself curvy bc I was born with a booty. Even in high school, when my bf% was 15%, my bum was noticeably rounder and larger than girls my size. I only recently started to dig that.
For me, instead of "Real women have X" I like:
"Health is good. Too much fat is not. Embrace your shape."
Hm, less catchy though.0 -
Real women don't hang out with Yankees players.
Exactly!!0 -
If you're not sure there's a qualitative and quantitative difference between what Cosmo et al tell women they "should" look like to be "attractive," and what men and women tend to actually find attractive, try comparing images from women's fashion magazines to what guys actually look at for, eh hem, pleasure. check out p0rn. As an example, do a google image search on "gianna michaels" (just sayin)
yup,yup,yup0 -
where are these 'pretend' women then? we are ALL real women! (well... unless you are a man..;) stop aspiring to look like someone else folks.. it's the healthiest you that matters, the rest is bull****...0
