Ladies: Do you weigh more than your S.O.?

Yes and seems like it'll always be like this. Doesnt bother me at all0

When I do end up losing all the weight I want to lose, I will probably ALWAYS weigh more than my man. But, he is very thin naturally, and that's okay with me. If you are both healthy though, and you still weigh more than him, I don't think that is anything to be upset about! Men can usually lose weight faster and women do have a higher percentage of body fat. I will never base my happiness off of my own weight or the weight of my S.O., more on how I feel!
I agree with the above statment, and its the same with me, my hunny is taller then me but was blessed with an Amazing body that is lean no matter how much he eats
both of us arnt all hung up on lame stero types of what a couple is supposed to be, (but it does help that he can pick me up =0 -
Oh yes I do. He's 5'7 and I'm 5'4 and I weigh 71 pounds more than him.0

When we first moved in together we weighed exactly the same. I couldn't believe it!
We are gettin fit together helping eachother but he's not focusing on weight loss just building muscle. Still come to think of it my exs all seem to have been beanpoles so it makes a nice change :-)0 -
Honestly why does it matter if you weigh more than your dude or not o.O?0
-
I hate it too, my husband is also on here and he is about 2lbs shy of his goal weight in less time then me...very frustrating. I am over 30lbs more than him...ugh!
When I get to my goal weight I will be about 15lbs less though0 -
Yes. It really hurts my self esteem.:sad:0
-
Yep! But we're in the same weight decade (160's) so not by much. (I'm finally lighter than my ex though...)0

For the first time in our 19 years of marriage I do weigh less! WooHoo!
I was less than him while we dated but our sweet Honeymoon baby put me over him within 6months.
DH is starting his own journey & he ALWAYS losses quickly so really need to bust by butt to keep under him.
But I reallly like that I weigh less than him and plan to keep it up.0 -
No I don't, he is a very big man. But I am frustrated that he is losing weight much faster than I am. I know that is normal but it just sucks to be working so hard and he is losing double what I am with the same effort.0
-
I don't, lucky. My man is 6'6' and 225 while I'm 5'6' at 201. I'm aiming to lose a lot more though. Here goes nothing!0
-
I was pretty close at one time :ohwell: glad to say with dedication, MFP and willpower I'm far away now :flowerforyou:0
-
I have always been heavier, but when we met my husband was underweight (now he is a healthy weight). I used to joke that we looked like the number 10. We look more like an 18 now which is better!!0
-
I'm taller than him, my healthy weight is 5 lbs more than his current weight. He is very fit and has good muscle tone, that's what I'm going for too. Only he can eat a bajillion times what I do and not gain. *kitten*.0
-
Not far off to be honest which is not great as he is a foot taller than me! But looking to the future when I will weigh a sliver of him haha x0

As of this morning my husband weighs 1 pound more than I do. We have been doing this together. I'm happy he's losing weight and changing his lifestyle. I want him to be around for a long time. It will all work out in the end. Eventually I will get to my goal and be less.0

 LOL!0

Nope, weight about 55, 60 lbs less.
BUT... in my last relationship, I weighed between 20 and 40 more at all points. It felt strange washing both of our clothes, and his hip bones hurt.
LOL!0 -
Nope. He is 6 foot tall, and i am about 5'3' . he weighs about 190, and i am currently at 165. we are both 60, and its harder to lose when you are older, let me tell you!0
-
No, he weighs more.0

I weigh more than my partner, although he is taller and he seems pretty at his normal weigh. He is about 65kg (143 lbs) with a height at 5'9".
Even now, that I'm only 4 pounds more than my first goal, I'm 149 lbs with a 5'6" height.
When I was heavier (about 167 lbs) I was very shy to get me on scale in front of him! I still do. I think I will get over it when I 'm lighter than he does! But it's only MY problem. He doesn't seem to understand or he doesn't care if I gain a few pounds or lose them!0 -
I out weigh my hubby by 43lbs. It's very frustrating to me esp because he doesn't eat right. when we first started dating he weighed more0
-
Yes I do weigh more then my hubby, significantly, and I have always hated it. But I believe even at my goal weight I will always weight near him or very little less. He is not that much taller then me and has an amazing metabolism! It is just in his genes. And my genes are meant to be heaver :-( I am definitely trying to change that.0
-
nope, am about 10 lbs lighter then my husband, but he is 6' tall and 225, I am 5'3 and 214 :grumble: BUT I am dieting and he isn't so with any luck I will out shrink him lol:laugh:my waist however is about 7" more around then his0
-
I weigh less than him, but he's skinnier than me =/ I'm 5'3" and 115 and he's 5'8" and 135.0
-
My hubby and I met in jr high and I have ALWAYS weighed more than him...sometimes 100 pounds more than him...till a few weeks ago when I finally slipped past him. Now I weigh 15 pounds less than he does, but his jeans are still about a size too small for me.0
-
Yes. He weights around 225...I weigh 299. I am working on changing that! We both hope that I will be smaller than him and maybe he'll be able to pick me up off the floor one day.0

"Only he can eat a bajillion times what I do and not gain. *kitten*." hahahahha. now that's funny!:laugh:0 -
Nope, when I met my boyfriend he was about 330 lbs. In the last three years he's lost 120 lbs and weighs about 20 lbs more than me. His trainer wants him to get to about 200 lbs and my goal is around 150, so hopefully we'll never weigh the same. I have definitely weighed more than previous boyfriends though and honestly it was always a source of insecurity for me!0
-
Yes, I think most of our married life I've weighed more than him. We are into nature e.g. gardens, birds etc., so one of his pet names for me derived from what we learned from one of our bird books. The Latin name for birds in the buzzard family is buteo. One of the characteristics of buzzards is that the females always weigh more than the males, hence his pet name for me - Buteo! Well, you have to admit, it sounds better than buzzard!0
