so, what is the difference in them venting about it on their wall, if they choose to be so immature, versus you dedicating an entire thread to them about it? Aside from the chilish hate PM's, which are uncalled for...

ETA: I do not believe in bad mouthing someone on my wall (or threads or blogs, etc) for any reason, including being deleted, I was just curious.

Unless they're also your friends in real life, who even cares? Some people take the internet waaaay too seriously...

I had someone delete me -- but before doing so, post on my wall, "Im deleting you because I don't like your eating habits and think you are anorexic. bye"

First I was like: :indifferent: and then I was like

I called the person out on my wall.

If you did something similar, then I think you got what you asked for.

If you simply deleted the people without feeling the need to say why they weren't good enough to be your friends, then...yeah...good for you. You don't want those kinds of friends anyway!

ps: I'm not anorexic just to clarify. I was eating less than 1,200 calories because I'm a legal midget and have never been *that* large.
Ive never heard of that term 'legal midget', what does it mean?

    thanks

That's not the politically correct term anymore, but basically she means she is a little person or a dwarf. She is probably 4'11" or shorter. In which case, eating below 1200 would not be considered out of the ordinary.

You are legally a midget if you are under 5ft, and (like my husband) you are legally a giant if you are 6ft 4" or above!!

On to the subject though, I can't believe people can get so funny about being deleted! I go on deleting sprees if I see people haven't logged in for a while, don't think I've been deleted... yet!!!

That's just ridiculous and childish. You can chose to keep or delete whoever you want. If I were you, I would have an issue with mutual friends allowing the bashing of you or sideways comments about you on their page. Obvious, you push past the negativity and produce results. Keep on keeping on girl :)

    ^^^^
    This too!

Totally agree, it is a personal journey, it's a personal choice how you run it, and who with, why would anyone take offence to being deleted, what harm does it do to them?????

Drama..... no thanks. Delete... don't delete... post comments or don't... who cares? I don't and if I see drama I'll probably delete them and be trashed on their wall - but again, don't care. Keep your drama, I'm happy without it.

That's not the politically correct term anymore, but basically she means she is a little person or a dwarf. She is probably 4'11" or shorter. In which case, eating below 1200 would not be considered out of the ordinary.

To be an actual dwarf you have to be 4'10 or smaller, anything over 4'10 is just a small person.... or so says the person who 'diagnosed' me as a child... and fall into a strict catagory or dwarfism, you cannot diagnose yourself as a "dwarf". I know this because I am a little person... fully 100% normally formed... I have a type of dwarfism that is refered to as "Normal Dawarfism" which means that my arms and legs are proportionate to my body,, my head is 'regular' shaped and I do not have as many issues with my health as say a little person with achondroplasia or any other type of dwarfism.. However; that being said... I am classified as being 4'10 inches tall (which is really on a good day - I stand between 4'9 and 4'10... And I had no idea I was a little person until I was 24 years old... I just thought I was short because my mom and dad never told me I was ... they treated me just the same as any other one of my siblings.. I had several Dr's that I would see when I was younger but I figured it was because I stopped growing in grade 3 ... and they were trying to figure out why lol

That being said eating under 1200 calories MAY not be considered out of the ordinary for those who stand under 4 feet but anyone over 4 feet SHOULD be able to eat 1200+ calories a day and not have any issues - this also comes from a specialist and a nutritionist and my Dr. of course I know that may not be true for everyone.

There really is no reason to say "legal midget/dwarf/little person" that I know of .. if you are a little person ... you are a little person.. its just the way things go..

Oh and to the OP, I feel that if they are going to go out of their way and bash you in PM or other wise they are totally not worth being friends with... and you did the right thing removing them from your list... some people just get butt hurt when they can't have things their way.

Some people just need to put a little more effort into them and then maybe they will not have so much time to spread messiness throughout:grumble: but we do live with unhappy people in the world and sometimes they like to find others and share that unhapiness:devil: they just betta not come over here with that mess:laugh:

    P.S. I think you are the best:flowerforyou:

What Gemini said and I think some people just never grow up cause only children would do hate letter or email.

I wouldn't even care and probably notice if someone deleted me...It's not necesarily personal. I delete people from time to time, not to be mean, but If I don't have a connection with you, I don't really feel I NEED to have you as my MFP friend.

I usually only delete those who stop logging in.
Anybody not serious enough to keep track progress and intake daily is not somebody with whom I seek a connection.

And I do notice some forum snivels get their panties in a wad over my direct approach, and GOOD RIDDANCE!

I don't need crybabies on my friend list either.
    Of the 950 + friends I have, they won't be missed...

It's very unfortunate that people have 'forgotten' the reason for being on MFP. I hate to say this but most females just don't make the best friends, whether in real life or cyber world. As I stated on Monday, this journey is ALL about me. If I had NO friends on here, I would still be doing fine and changing my life for the better. You control who you allow in your circle and if they can't handle that, oh well. Life will continue to go on....

Meh. I don't think I care enough. I know why I am on here, if you want to show support, your gone. That easy.

I agree with this quote above. Ms. QT you deleted me. I didn't notice though until i tried to comment on your page. Guess I wasn't active enough for you. Say-La- Ve (i'm sure that's spelled wrong but you get what I'm saying) Unlike your other deleted folks, I didn't and never will bad mouth you on here because that's childish and I have better things to do. Enjoy the rest of your journey for fitness success.
