    Frozen, low sodium, steamable bags of vegetables..... so easy to put an addition to dinner. Just pop in the microwave and done.

    1 to 4 jalapeno peppers (for tacos, taco salad or chili)

    4 small cans of low sodium tomato sauce for homemade taco sauce, chili, meatloaf or some other recipe I have found and just have to try.

    If possible, fresh game meat (venison, elk, wild boar, or pheasant) no other meat his healthier (lower sodium, lower fat content and no hormones or antibiotics).

    Onions for salads, chilis, tacos, taco salad, stews, pot roasts, meatloaf, or italian food.

    Apples

    bananas

    yogurt

    cottage cheese (non or low fat)

    baby carrots (already bite size no chopping required LOL)

    celery (salads, munchies, stews, pot roasts)

    As to the rest I look to see what's on sale fruit/veggie wise and go from there, and we buy meats on sale/BOGO and stock the freezer every 3-4 months.
