If you can't handle the taste of the ACV it really helps to put it with V8 juice.. then your getting some veggies with it.

I did it a while back, does anyone know if it goes bad? or expires?

    Apple Cider Vinegar DOESN"T work.

Coconut Oil does work because 50% of it is MCT or Medium Chain triglycerides. MCTs are effective when low carbohydrate dieting. The body uses this fat easier than standard fats.

no the vinegar does not go bad
i have used ACV before and it really does help with swelling and fluid retention
lately , i have been lazy about using it but it does help alot of ailments
a friend told me to start using the VCO in my cooking but he didn't say anything about ingesting it by the TBsp

ACV in your green tea is not bad and in a 16oz bottle u can spread it out thru the day, which helps keep the metabloism up

I use the virgin coconut oil on my entire body. I did my research on it. It does rev up your metabolism but I tried it for the sole benefit of my hypothyroid condition. My meds have now dropped from 50mg to 7.5 mg and the doctor says that he thinks I don't need my thyroid medicine anymore. He is amazed. I am too! The weight is falling off me and who can't be happy about that?

Loving this information! Just knowing that it could help with my Hypothyroid condition! I am currently on 125 mg and still feel like I could fall asleep standing up some days! I remember when I was 8 I would drink straight pickle juice until my aunt caught me and told me I had to stop as I would never gain any weight! *sigh* I remember when that was a problem

i also used to drink pickle juice as a child:bigsmile:

@fitnesssocialist thank you for the information. :) Reading this link : http://www.webmd.com/diet/apple-cider-vinegar
I disagree that the article shows it doesn't work. It actually acknowledges it does have an effect on weight loss, among other things. Overall the article suggested that some conditions are helped by vinegar, however some other conditions are incorrectly said to be helped by it. It also indicated it could be worth trying in small doses such as on salad dressing - just not in the concentrated capsule form.

All it said that it made people fuller. There was nothing regarding modification of your metabolism.

"Weight Loss . For thousands of years, vinegar has been used for weight loss. White vinegar (and perhaps other types) might help people feel full. A 2005 study of 12 people found that those who ate a piece of bread along with small amounts of white vinegar felt fuller and more satisfied than those who just ate the bread."

I take 2-tbs of ACV everyday...it's an old school bodybuilding technique. I have no clue whether it works or not; however, it doesn't hurt you. I read the article the dude posted from WebMD...okay...fine. If you think it works for you...as I do...and you're not suffering any ill-effects from it...do what you are comfortable with.

This is because of the potassium in the vinegar. If you track potassium in your diary and ensure that you get close to the daily recommended allowance, you should not have a problem with leg cramps anymore.

Hi, Quick question.. sorry if it's been answered already!

How much apple cider vinegar should i drink per day? and is it better to take it in one go or sip it throughout the day?

In regards to the coconut oil, I used some tonight in my cooking, not much of a flavour but a beautiful aroma! There has been mention of having by itself. Do you just swallow it straight? It has also been mentioned that some people use it on their body. Has anyone had results with massaging it into the skin with stretch marks etc?

    thanks

I have coconut oil in my black morning coffee every day, it give it a nice " full feeling" without the milk.
It has a host of health benefits.
There is a great book called the coconut oil miracle that will give you all the info.
It's also lovely as a skin lotion, I keep a separate little jar for that.
I generally use ACV if I'm making my own both stock as it helps reduce the broth and get all of the nutrients out of the bones.
On occasion if I think I may be getting a cold 9 haven't had one for a few years though) I used to take some ACV in water every half an hour and I'd always kick it!
    I hope this helps.
