Grocery Store Rant! Some people are idiots!

I cannot believe someone said that! So rude. I agree with another poster she is a miserable person and somewhere inside she knows that about herself.
The rule in the grocery line is Never comment on someone's purchases. Don't people know this rule?!
I am amazed you were so quick with your perfect retort! I am usually so shocked it takes me days to formulate a good comeback. Of course, it is too late!0 -
Okay, so I say that next week, we all meet up in Idado, tie up that b!tch and take turns insulting her.0
-
Well done you, I only ever think of smart comebacks 5 minutes too late when I've missed my chance.0
-
Amazing she decided to keep talking; what an ignorant beeatch. But hey, who knows, maybe your words cut deep enough for her to actually get off her bum and DO something about it! Way to go!0
-
You're awesome!!!! I'm afraid if that happen to me, the world would have seen just how much damage can occur when a can of corn is slammed against her empty head over and over again!0
-
Ignorance is bliss Good for you!!0
-
On another note....great things in your basket! I'm going shopping now and you've inspired me :happy:0
-
She's just jealous. She knows what she has to do, and she's purposefully not. *shakes head* I'm glad you said something to her.0
-
I just love it! Wish I could think that fast. I hope she learns from this experience. Some people just have no class.0

Wow! Talk about trash! I bet she was just pissed because her husband was checking you out If i was with you i'd have been all like "oh no she didn''t" and jumping around behind you all crazy like  Love that you chose the high road in responding to her... stick that in your juice box and suck it lady!!0
-
Kudos to you! What a wench!!! How can someone actually say something like that? Apparently she was never taught any manners. I bet her husband wanted to run and hide. I love your comebacks. I wish I were that smooth when I hear things like that. Congrats on your wight loss. You truly are an inspiration!!!!0

YOU GO GIRL!!!!0

Great job with the weight loss, you deserve huge kudos for that!0 -
Cant believe the nerve....you handled the situation amazingly. I would have hit her in the head....lol0
-
Congrats on your weight loss.
People like that woman rationalize everything because they feel guilty that they treat themselves poorly.
You took the high road, good for you.0 -
Awesome comebacks. I can picture you doing the slow turn-around...lmbo! The only thing that would have made it any better, would have been if the hubby had told her to shut the f*** up and mind her own business. Congrats on the 187lb loss...that's the weight of a grown man WITH a spine...0
-
Good for you, for being so quit witted and giving it right back to her. (And what an incredible weight loss for you, too - congratulations!)
What a daft, pathetic personality to have. How sad for her husband to live with such a person. I feel bad because he was probably so embarrassed, as anyone would have been.
Glad you said what you said and didn't lower yourself to get into a physical altercation with that waste of space.0 -
Excellent comebacks!! Good for you...not only on your amazing weight loss, but on the self-control you exhibited. I would have kicked her in the vaj.0
-
Way to go on standing your ground!!!0
-
you go girl...congrats on the lost weight.0
-
That is incredible to show how judgemental people can be. But maybe your comments in response to here snide comments made her realize she needs to make a change!
I would have done way worse if it were me in your place, but great job taking a stand for yourself!
Your weight loss is inspiring and keep up the great work!0 -
I am 39 years old and my mother would still kick my *kitten* if i forgot my manners like that. Sorry you had to deal with her.0

So I made my weekly trip to the grocery store to stock up my yummy healthy foods. I was standing in the line waiting to pay for my fresh fruits and veggies, super lean turkey burger, fish, morning star items, frozen veggies, greek yogurt, nonfat cottage cheese, whole grain pasta, beans, etc. This woman (and I use that term lightly) behind me loudly says to her husband "You see? That's why I don't eat healthy...it's obviously not working for HER". Mind you this woman had probably 50 lbs on me, the cart was filled with TV dinners, fatty ground beef, beer (no problem with that, just making a point), tons of non-diet soda, sour cream, etc. The only veggies was some canned corn. I felt sorry for the husband cause he was trying to hide behind her when I did the dramatic slow-turn, gave her a hard-a$$ed stare, looked her up and down, and said "Actually, not that I would ever need to answer to you, but I have lost over 187 lbs eating this way. What's your excuse?"
I turned around and she starts grumbling to her husband "I bet she's so b!tchy because she is hungry" I turned around again and said "you know, one of the benefits of a healthy diet is 1. I am not deaf, so I can hear you, and 2. I am able to eat quite a bit more healthy food with lower calories than unhealthy calorie-dense food. I am never hungry, and in fact I am a generally happy person. Perhaps you should try it sometime, maybe then you won't be so irritable." I turned back around again to hear the husband tell her to shut her mouth before I rightfully punched her in the face. I have never been criticised for eating healthy...most people ask me for recipes when I am in line. Goes to show that the miserable ones aren't those of us on this site getting fit, but rather the rest of them wishing for a better life but not caring enough to persue it.
I appauled you for your loss and the way you handled the stuck up bi-otch in the grocery line........hats off to you keep up the great work..........0 -
Oh my gosh, what a miserable ***** (excuse my language). I have always used the saying that misery loves company. Some people have the nerve. I would have let her have it. I commend you for keeping your cool. BTW, You look awsome, and you are beautiful, which is probably alot more than that woman at the grocery store. Wow, the nerve of people.0

you are my Hero for the day, Hands Down!0

Bump to read for later.0

Bitzches are gonna bitzch. That's why they are bitzches. Just sayin...
True Elizabeth...she'll find a reason to b!tch no matter what
Seriously, this girl is a piece of garbage. She's obviously a miserable human being, and her husband probably thought you looked hawt.
All of the above.. You rock.!!!! I need more friends like you!!:drinker:0 -
