I honestly don't know what you are talking about, but it makes me sad that you feel old at 28.

My sister and her friends think the worst thing that can happen is to not be married before 25. I just turned 26 and that makes me laugh.

I have more in common with people 10+ years my senior on here than some of the 20 somethings.

(I should this means I don't love having lots younger friends, but I don't check ages before accepting FRs. It just happens that I don't have as much in common with an 18 year old as a 35 year old. I've been told I'm mature for my age.)

    After 21 it's all downhill.

Yikes.. better spend my last two years feeling young and lively wisely..

i turn 39 this year, and i've never been more fit.
i wouldn't want to go back to my 20s.

i adore and encourage all my MFP friends, regardless of age.
even the ones that are really old. like, 40.

You may have a 50 year old who behaves like a 20 year old so age is JUST A NUMBER.

I don't really understand what ageism has occurred, but I agree, age is just a number.

I'm glad you are comfortable making friends with people of any age, but why are you judging people for having a personal preference in their own relationships?

Ok, first of all, you are just a baby! I'm turning 50 so you have no reason to feel 'old'. Second, I haven't noticed any agism going on at old, perhaps I'm not looking for it either, but in either case, when you're my age you don't give a 'D___" anymore. Toughen up girl!

Yes 28 is nothing, you'll know what we're talking about in another 20 years!

Worse is a 20 year old acting like a 50 year old.
Or a 32 year old acting like a 37 year old. Where do they get off?

Sometimes people like having friends going through the same things they are. College kids want to be friends with other college kids (as it can be hard to diet/exercise while attending school). Moms want to be friends with other moms (so they can discuss the best way to get a workout in while watching their kids).

    Maybe YOU should stop judging.

    I'm 25 and I've been told I act like I'm at LEAST 25 1/2. I'm mature, damnit.

wait, 28 is old now? i'd have to disagree.

at 28, i was obese. i feel quite a bit younger now.

    additionally, get off my lawn.
