Why would anyone WANT to log sex? Sex is for pleasure, not for exercise. How stupid.

Technically it's for procreation. But **** that noise. NO BABBIES!

    pleasure and procreation?

If I understand the theory correctly, the pleasure from sex is an incentive for the procreation.

Oh also, you'd log it because you wanna eat more. I'm always hungry after some nookie. I always make sure a girl has snacks at her place before I go home with her.

    Sammich?

And no, many people have sex just for pleasure, no procreation involved.

Anyone who would honestly track sex as exercise and use those calories as edible ones is on a level all their own. Not sure what level, just not mine.

    amen sister...

you people should be worried about getting outside or going to the gym... not how many calories you burned folding laundry.. gimme a break.. no offense? ha.

I really need to meet the person who can actually work long, hard and consistently enough to log it as exercise.

No, seriously, I REALLY need to meet this person!!!

You just met her!! My husband and I "exercise" for hours at a time and there is A LOT of sweating going on! Granted this is not a daily activity, hence the reason I'm not thin! Lol however, we definitely "participate" so to speak! LOL! I usually have super sore muscles for 2 days after, more than with some exercises!

Same here... I would say ours is a major work out. But its maybe once a month cause I live at work! That once a month sure makes up for the rest of the month. I know for sure my thighs and stomach are getting good work outs LOL cause they are sore for days!

I wouldn't log it, because I consider it a normal daily activity. Is that TMI?

No offense but if it's happening so rarely that you want to log it as a specific exercise session... Well.... There might be something else to worry about besides the calories burned ;)

    It says:
Kissing - 68 calories burned an hour
Massaging - 80+ calories burned an hour
    Sex - 144+ calories burned per half-hour
    Dancing - 103+ calories burned per half-hour
Making out - 238 calories burned per half-hour

I don't know what make out session outdoes sex in terms of cardio but I've certainly never had it. lol That seems like a list Disney would make.

This! I think it'd be a bit of a passion killer to be like 'Well, that was amazing, honey! I'd love to stay and spoon, but I've got to log this as exercise on MFP! :D'

making out burns more calories than sex? dancing burns more than both? that seems backwards.
