    I will get my last three miles in this evening. I WILL make goal!

    Goal: 90 miles

    Completed today (4/30) – 4 miles (Leslie Sansone WATP 4 Mile Challenge)

    Total completed – 87 miles

    Well... I didn't reach my goal of 40 miles, because life and work seem to have gotten in the way. However, I made a slow start of 16.5 miles. Maybe I will drop my goal to 30 for next month, and will definitely work harder towards reaching that goal. I will definitely keep pushing on tho.

    Congrats to everyone who reached their goals! That is amazing and shows me that it can be done. It also gives me a little more drive to work harder towards it. Thanks!

    You moved 16.5 miles ... that's 16.5 more than a couch potato! A goal of 30 miles in May is only a mile a day. You can do it! You've got the whole MYA community cheering you on.

    i am NOT going to make my goal of 80miles this month...there is no excuse or reason why i wont, i just didnt...i'm a little bummed but i'll get over it....if i can do some tonight i will but today is my rest day...

    72.46/80 complete as of right now....

    Goal 150 - 139.36 done, 10.64 left! I don't think I am going to make it, no way to hit 10 miles today, but got SO close!

    Wasn't able to get to the gym this weekend ... too many kid events ... so put in a little extra at cardiac rehab today.

    4.719 in a mix of treadmill and cycle.

    42.195 miles completed for the month. Made my original goal of 30 miles and my expanded goal of 42 miles.


    NSV for the day was my cardiologist saying "I'll see you in six months for a follow-up" ... in another words, looks like he and the cardiac surgeon are happy with things as they stand. Just waiting for the residual pains to go away and the stamina to get back to 100% and I'll be back on track again ... albeit about 60 lbs. lighter and in MUCH better shape than I've been in a long time.

    By my calculations, 72.46 out of 80 is 90.575%. That's at least an A- and an A in a straight 90-80-70-60 scale. :smile:

    In the "oh so much bigger scheme of things" it woks out to more than 2 miles a day and 70+ miles a month MORE than just sitting by wishing and hoping and dreaming. You got out and "did it" rather than just sit on the sidelines. As I tell my players, the successes in life sometimes come merely from doing as opposed to winning. Yes, there are those that win races, but those who run the race, especially against odds, can succeed even without the trophy.

    Rode 9.75 miles on the stationary bike today! :) Makes an even 160 miles for the month! Woohoo!! I had my goal at 80 because at the beginning of the month I was walking on the treadmill, but after day 5 I had only walked 9 miles. So I got on the bike, allergies and all, and rode it for 151 miles this month! Yay me! :)
