Maybe we should make this a group? I'm SUCH a late night snacker and it can be super hard to give that up. I've love to have others in the same boat all in one place to support each other!

There *is* a group already formed - it is called "LNS Fighters"....but, there wasn't enough action in the "group", so we decided at the end of February to open up the challenges to the whole mfp forum.

March 2012 challenge involved whomever on mfp wanted to join....if you "bump" the thread, it's marked for you!

I'm in too! Last night I defied my desire to have ice cream by brushing my teeth at 8:30. I definitely need accountability in this area.

I'm in as well. Let's stay accountable!! What other tools besides teeth brushing do people use?

I'm in too - I'm good all day and wreck it by thinking I 'deserve' a treat after a hard day :grumble:

I love the idea of using teeth brushing as a deterrent! I usually have to go to bed early lol

Apparently just signing up to the thread has helped me - first night in ages that I have had dinner, had my hot choc (allowed!) and then that's it! :drinker:
  • I ate half a box of Cheez its during Mad Men and Game of Thrones. I think Sunday is going to have to be a cheat day for me!
  • Hi I'd like to join again. I did for a bit when I was on MFP a while back.

IT works, if you stick with it!

How are you all doing? What are you doing instead? I started a blog... http://thisisasweetlife.blogspot.com/

I also am trying to meditate before going to bed. What are you all doing?

    For Mon and Tues.

diabeticrunner I 'm really bad at mindless eating in front of the TV, I told myself that was it and did 2 miles on my stationary bike.

I am in! I have a major weakness for night snacking.....I get up early, work out, do great all day, then after dinner I start eating junk food-and I hate myself afterwards!

*** I did have a snack late, but it was necessary to aid a low blood sugar. It was substantial and did the trick. No guilt!

I just noticed this. LNS is a big problem for me and so is snacking while preparing dinner. What helps me at night is brushing and flossing but also seeing the success stories here.

I've been on vacation this week so my stats are:
    Me - 0
    LNS - 4

You rock beeps! I don't always have a lns, but sometimes I am genuinely hungry because I didn't eat enough at dinner. What I have been doing(other than that pesky bowl of ice cream) is to eat a protein bar. It fills me up and it feels like a treat but it's good for me.
