I feel like if they can do it, and not hate themselves or even if they enjoy it, then I don't have any problems with it. People use their bodies all the time to get what they want, why not make it a profession? I am probably in the minority here, but really, have you seen what some "singers" wear on stage? Or even worse what they sing about? All that is ok, but someone who is not famous can't use their body to make money? Oh, yeah that makes sense.
I never thought about it that way...that singers pretty much look like porn stars on stage. I mean hell Katy Perry doesn't even wear clothes half the time.

You have sex scandals, sex tapes, "leaked" photos (which we all know are put out there to amp their fame). But that one girl that's down on her luck and BAM she's the bad person.

Sadly its not a situation where you can go 'they do it so why can't I?". They are famous, they most likely won't have to worry about making a job change later on in life compare to someone who isn't famous. You have to look out for yourself and what is right by yourself not what others are doing especially those who are famous because they are just a small percentage (And many girls in Hollywood end up being hookers because they thought they were going to make it big and never did, its not a pretty life). No matter what it can always come back to hurt you, even if its legal it can have affects on employment in the future. If your friend understands the consequences and willing to take the risk of the dangers physically, socially and possibility financially (if she can't find a job in the future) then go ahead of your friend shouldn't jump into this if she thinks these dangers won't exist to her.

I had an aunt with a 900 number in her house. It made family holidays fun. ;)

I would say if you have to question whether or not you should do it, then you shouldn't.

I agree with this. I am not sure what exactly you want to do but at the end of the day, you have to look in the mirror at yourself. If you aren't 100% sure on it, then don't do it!

I'm not a sugar coater: yes, it's your life you can do what you want. Yes, I would judge you. If I were interviewing you for a professional position (not a professional's "position") and I figured out your "employment" history you wouldnt get the job no matter how qualified you were because if I figured it out so might one of my customers. I know people who have made the decision to strip and I like them very much as people, I wouldn't hire them. I know an ex-escort, she's a dispicable human being, but to be fair it has nothing to do with her old employment decisions.

I don't have any moral problems with it, but must be a dangerous way to make money - you don't know who's going to walk in the door. Prostitution itself is not illegal in the UK, but it's underground because most everything else to do with it is illegal.

Well that's your choice as well as other employers' choices. I won't fault them on it. They don't want an ex stripper as an employee then that's on them. Won't stop anyone from doing what they have to do to get food on the table. Btw who's to say that ex-stripper won't turn into a multi-million dollar business woman (or man cause it falls into both genders). Maybe them being turned away from your job was the best thing that ever happened to them. Or they could walk outside and get hit by a bus. **** happens

If it's legal, you're okay with it, and gets you where you need to be financially, do it.

I'd do it if I lived alone, provided it came with dental and health insurance. Sigh. Not likely!

I say do it if you really need the money, and if you do stuff on the internet try to keep your face out of it so people don't reconise you.

Certainly a consideration if someone considering it is religious. Living with guilt is not a happy thing.

You have to believe in GOD for him not to like it. Not everyone follows the same religion or is even religious.

Unless I'm in your shoes, I can't really judge or defend you because this is one of those cases that I would be wrong either way. I do believe in self conscience. If you feel you are doing something wrong, then find a way to not practice it. If your conscience isn't hurt at all, then do what you want, but always remember that each of your decisions will have an unique impact in your life, specially if you have any kid.

You asked for opinions and I gave you mine. You want a different answer? Ask a different girl.

Hey, whatever you're good at, and are comfortable with. Go for it, My Aunt was a stripper for years, and I've heard she did other things on the side for extra dough. She's not anymore, cause she's in her early 50's now, but I don't hate her for or disrespect her for it. I always say, to each their own, no ones is the same.
